Hello!

Continuation of our last thread…

All of us TTC and in different cycles and stages of our journey.

Helping eachother through the TWW, through the confusing days of OPK/BBT testing and charts, through all of the symptom spotting, the dreaded arrival of AF and the BFP announcements! 😊✨

January was a very lucky month for some who got their BFP and some of us are ready to make February our month!

With giggles and lots of support along the way.

Forgot to mention we're off to the hospital tomorrow for our fertility appointment.

If we don't manage to fall pregnant naturally & will need his swimmers that will be frozen I have no idea how it'll work , so I have so many questions like do we have to follow normal ivf route such as getting referred or can we ring them straight up etc.

Anyone think of any good questions I can ask?

Feel a bit sorry for oh as he's a bit nervous that he won't be able to umm how do I say it politely... 'perform into the cup' 🤣

Hope everyone's Opk tests are going well!

I've started taking eve primrose oil and got some pre seed as I never seem to have much cm but watched a video which recommended do not use the amount that said on the box just more of a 'Fingers worth' no doubt that'll be amusing when it comes to bd'g🤣🤣🤣

Well that's a massive weight off my shoulders girls, all was okay there's more than one lump but of no concern in the thyroid. 'Normal' thyroid nodules that may grow or disappear in time and my bloods were fine so now fingers crossed in pregs this month!!!!!!!!!!

Tonight if we dtd late then it will be like 3/4 days before ovulation if app is correct so sometimes the sperm can last can’t it? Any tips on how to make it survive in me longer? Lol

Do you think I should run out and get some preseed today? I don’t have any ewcm and does sperm need that to live in me? lol

Sunday could catch it if it’s ovulation day but depends if my egg sticks around for 24 hours or 12….

@Newbiemg I read 5 days! So DTD and stick those legs in the air after

I haven't used my pressed yet so I can't comment sorry x

@newbiemg hope you are right with the CB, just wondering because I've only been testing with FMU but I’m at home today so i thought I’d try with lunch too.. just hopefully it hasn't messed it up. its like boots the pharmacy in this cupboard under the sink.
DTD yesterday/this morning (late night oops) so I will try either tonight or tomorrow too. Maybe try do another OPK tonight as well.
Phoned doc to try get some advice... first app they can give me is 1st March... not much use

What CD are you today?

Darn about the football.. could you DTD tomorrow before he goes or no time? I would 100% DTD tonight too though. and be ready to pounce on Sunday!

Don’t worry - we are all worriers here, the TWWW -the two week wait worriers 😂😂

@RMS0209 I’ve read a lot of people get their CB static the day before a peak OPK so maybe DTD incase OPK jumps tomorrow 😬

Oh no about the work covid people! And sorry you’re feeling sorry for yourself (big hugs).

Hair is nice and fresh thanks! But opks have gone right down for me so not sure when I’ll peak now. Waiting game again.

My OH plays football and he is always having to travel for games etc and he’s going away tomorrow and Saturday. It always seems to fall on the worse days of my cycle but I can’t tell him to cancel every month especially because he has a more relaxed approach to ttc than I do lol.

My app says I will ovulate on Sunday if that’s correct and the DTD tonight is it too early for Sunday?

OH will be back Sunday so we can DTD them too but it will be late at night.

I’m worrying before I’ve even peaked may not need to but can’t help it lol

I have missed you all while I've been feeling sorry myself GrinSmile
Still low on the OPK front, got a 0.33 5 minutes ago... but made the mistake of using the CB too and it's went to static... don't think that is the case really, was just wanting to see if it went flashy again or not. Think I've messed up my clear blue for now have I? Luckily I have another one so I guess I could open and use tomorrow? CD 17 & VERY fed up.

How is everybody doing? Just reading & catching up now so no doubt another comment from me in a min x

@SMD16 my opks have gone back down low now. This mornings one was 0.24. I’m CD11 today so still got time. How are you? Smile

Hello! So the last insemination of my cycle was comically stressful - my coparent was feeling really poorly from an infected wisdom tooth and there was hardly any.....material......to work with - very unlike him. It was such a tiny amount it was so difficult to get it into the syringe and then back out again! And his lodger was in the flat (he's usually at work in the evenings) watching snooker really loudly and it was all just very stressful and quite funny 😆 but hopefully a little bit of sperm got where it needed to go.

@Pickles91 yes lots of countryside walks on the horizon! Hoping it helps distract me during the TWW!

We have to hold out to both ovulate at the weekend @Newbiemg 😂 keep the eggy in there for a few more days!

Reassuring to know you also got a higher OPK around the same time @lakejupiter. Sounds like you have a lovely few days ahead! Do your family live somewhere nice for walks and chilling?

Hope the hotel stay was just for the night @SMD16?! So boring when it’s by yourself, and not somewhere tropical! It’s sounds like you’ve done everything you could so everything crossed that this is your month! May your TWW pass by at the speed of light

@lakejupiter thank you. I keep feeling like I’m going to ovulate but then my opks just get lighter and lighter so it’s probably in my head lol

I'm not sure re: ovulation @Newbiemg - never thought about it before but I guess you must need a certain amount of time for one follicle to become dominant and release a mature egg?

Frustrating re: travel @SMD16 but hopefully you've done enough this month!!

@Pickles91 I got a random high OPK (around 0.5 I think) last week sometime around CD9 so maybe it's a "thing" - hoping things all unfold as they should and you ovulate on time!

Im okay today - had a small temp rise this morning (has been 36.2 for the last week and went up to 36.4) but i don't think I can confirm ovulation yet - my temps during my luteal phase last month were more like 36.7 so hoping I see a bigger rise tomorrow to confirm. Did an OPK just now and it's quite low - 0.18 - so I think my 0.7 along with static smiley yest was my peak. Was hoping to see a proper positive on the OPKs but I do find them a bit hit and miss. Just packing for coparent's - off to the train station soon. First stopping at my friend's to visit her and her miracle IVF newborn and then to coparent's after he finishes work for inseminations and then staying with family for a few days. Hopefully the trip takes my mind off the TWW! I have loads of work deadlines too so that might help - I was absolutely beside myself last cycle!

Evening all! Sorry I've been quiet, hectic day with work and I'm now sat in the hotel room in Warrington. Lonely stuff traveling with work. I think I definitely ovulated yesterday as had some EWCM now I have the milky stuff. Fingers crossed Friday and Saturday's BD's were enough!

Twins!! I guess it depends on your cycle length, but I think a “normal” LP is 11-17 days or something like that. This is possibly helpful: www.clearblue.com/how-to-get-pregnant/luteal-phase @Newbiemg

@Pickles91 we are on the exact same cycle day too this time! Hopefully we ovulate the same day and have the same test day lol

I was just going to ask if anyone knows when is the earliest “safest” day to ovulate is? As in when will it mean the egg is mature enough etc?
