This was the first month I have used any OPK and I think I might have been a bit late in catching my ovulation. I didn't want to start testing straight away so I only started a day or 2 before the apps predicted my fertile window and the first 2 tests I did were low. Then on the Sunday it jumped to high and Monday was high again but slightly less than Sunday so the app recalculated the Sunday as my peak and Monday as ovulation. I didn't realise that it jumped so quickly between peak and ovulation so we only managed to DTD on Saturday and then Monday night but I feel like the Monday might have been too late. The result was still fairly high on Monday and that was around 6pm so could this indicate I was still within a good time for ovulation?

Sorry for all of the long brain dump! My OH and I actually decided that I would track ovulation but not tell him too much about it because we thought he might feel too under pressure as well... which is probably why I feel the need to burden you all with my ramblings hahaha!

OMG! Me & OH are just had a similar convo regarding being expected to perform, can tell it's getting to him.

Nothing is TMI!
Do you tell him when you are testing what you are etc? I wonder sometimes if it's better not telling them?
Least you have a few days off and can try again on Sunday and hopefully that will be your lucky day x

@Newbiemg I never managed to DTD last night.. OH was not approachable but did first thing on Thursday morning after midnight and if I do tonight do you think that's ok? I'm kicking myself x

@RMS0209 thank you! Had really bad cramping today and I'm not sure why, I hope I'm not ovulating really early or something!

Just had the fertility meeting, was hard actually we both sat there pretty quiet whilst we had to fill out loads of legal documents stating that if he died I can still use his sperm and have him as a legal father etc but I'm sure this would be done with everyone going through it as they store the sperm for 55 years just wasn't nice to hear and we have to wait 2 years till his treatment finishes!! I feel like that's bloody ages but I'm feeling thankful that it's there if we ever need it (fingers crossed we don't though).

But on a good note they are checking his swimmers today before freezing to just check they are all in good working order and they will let us know this afternoon so at least we can know how they are doing with us currently ttc!

I'm in my first TWW since officially TTC and I'm already driving myself crazy with over thinking! I think I'm 4DPO and my intention was to spend at least the first few months of my TTC journey taking it easy and not worrying too much but clearly that only lasted about a week! Would be nice to have some people to talk through my obsessing who are going through the same thing!

@Newbiemg hope you got on good, you were right... premom registered last nights as peak and I'm ovulating today... hopefully that's true, will DTD tonight and hope that works.

Had a good week this week, slept every night this week so far since oh had his seizure back in November ... really trying to not stress this month as I'm so conscious this can affect baby making so trying to relax and be a lot more zen ... this approach seems to be working so far!! 💆🏻‍♀️💆🏻‍♀️💆🏻‍♀️ but no doubt this zen will disappear when I have an awkward Opk test 🤣🤣🤣

Also got some friends round tomorrow eve so going to enjoy some wine whilst I can yay.

@Newbiemg maybe you were right with CB, see tests just done now... god it'll be nice to not be stressed if this keeps going up! X

Your OPKs sound like a pain @RMS0209! I would deffo DTD anyway, just in case! And I have everything crossed you managed to avoid the dreaded C word. All fine here! My OPKs went back to a vaguely low pre-ov state, which is the same as last month. Expecting peak over the weekend! I am starting to think OH is even more broody than me at this stage mind 😂

@Newbiemg I read 5 days too! So definitely DTD tonight and hop on it on Sunday too 😉 no idea on the preseed but keep us informed! I don’t get much EWCM these days either so will invest if it works for you.

Good luck for the appointment tomorrow @Pops100! I have no clue on the questions you could ask but I would definitely start a thread. There must be people who have been in the same position floating around mumsnet who can help
