Hello!

Continuation of our last thread…

All of us TTC and in different cycles and stages of our journey.

Helping eachother through the TWW, through the confusing days of OPK/BBT testing and charts, through all of the symptom spotting, the dreaded arrival of AF and the BFP announcements! 😊✨

January was a very lucky month for some who got their BFP and some of us are ready to make February our month!

With giggles and lots of support along the way.

Morning all! Happy Valentine’s/Galentine’s Day!

@RMS0209 ended up BDing in the morning and evening. Maybe he does have a sixth sense for the opk peaks after all 😂 it’s only 7.45am here so no opks just yet - hopefully they’ll have dropped though. Massage sounds like an amazing plan!

@ohlife08 lucky OH! I find the easy@home really easy to understand. I have the Premom app so when the result is final on the strip, you take a photo with the app and it’ll tell you all you need to know!

Don’t panic @Newbiemg! I think it takes 3 BBT readings to actually confirm ovulation so there is some time to go. Superhero @lakejupiter saving the day! I’m starting BBT next cycle, so prepare for all the questions 👀

What do everyone’s ovulation pains feel like? I don’t think I get them, but yesterday felt a bit uncomfortable but put it down to bloating…

I think that looks fine @Newbiemg - hopefully it will go up a bit more over next few days! It might dip a little bit tomorrow but don't panic about that, lots of people get a dip at 2dpo. Or worst case scenario you ovulate tomorrow instead but I think your temps are so stable that the small rise means something. I guess sometimes ovulation is two days after peak rather than one. On the other hand I seem to have ovulated same day as peak this month according to my temps. Unruly bodies!

Hi @Newbiemg post your chart? My temp was very slow to rise this month - went up slightly the day after O and then down again (fallback dip at 2dpo - normal apparently) and then properly up at about 4dpo. The problem with BBT is you won't be able to confirm ovulation for sure for a couple more days but don't panic - you got a clear peak etc so I'm sure you've ovulated. I will post my chart for you now!

If all the other tests are/were where they needed to be that's good! enjoy Valentine's Day and try not stress. I got a good feeling about this month for you. OPKS seemed high too so that's very good x

@RMS0209 Yes you're right I need to try and not stress. Having a cuppa and a dog cuddle now lol. Might head to gym after or for a walk.

I did just read online that some people’s temps don’t rise until 2-3 days after ovulation so that’s calmed me down a little lol x

I’m having abit of a panic day lol

My opks peaked yesterday and have gone down abit today but my temps don’t seem to say I've ovulated so now I’m like have I not ovulated and do I ever ovulate. Having one of those days Sad

@Newbiemg Noo, no panic today! @lakejupiter knows more than me so can help with the technical Let's be optimistic you got good levels on OPKS, and DTD... you relax don't stress not good for you! X

I read that it should go up atleast 0.3 - 0.5 but mine today only rose by at most if I go by my lowest BBT 0.05 so I assume I can’t take that as Ive ovulated yet? x

@ohlife08 I’m finding it ok. My temps seem to be quite consistent so I think it’s tracking accurately. I set an alarm the same time every morning to take it and then I either get up or go back to sleep Smile

@lakejupiter How much does your temp rise after ovulation? My temps have been between 36.26 and 36.29 every day since CD8. Today it rose slightly to 36.31 is that enough of a rise to say I ovulated or does it need to be more than that?

@Newbiemg hope the next OPK tallies with the BBT, how are you finding the BBT? I have such broken sleep (not to mention am massively disorganised) that I don't feel this would be very reliable if I tried it!

@Pickles91 thanks for the welcome! Sorry for the delay, hectic weekend. Definitely BD'ing a lot more regularly since having the coil out, I've had a REALLY low sex drive for a few years because of different meds the Dr's were trying out, so think DH is happy haha! Are the easy@home strips easy to use/understand? I'd definitely like to get an idea of what is going on down there, as my AF has always been irregular (and non-existent for years) I don't even know any history of cycles etc...

@RMS0209 I haven’t done an OPK today yet because I forgot this morning and now I’m trying to do a hold and I will do one soon. My last one was 1.24 I think maybe that’s going to be my peak because that’s higher than my last cycle peak but I havent had any ovulation pains and usually I get strong ones and my temp hasnt risen so I don’t think I’ve ovulated yet x

strange isn't it! my OPK's are back to really low aswell... hopefully Thursday/Friday did the job though

I don't really bother with Valentines day but it is a good excuse to get a weeknight takeaway which I am all for haha!

@SMD16 I think I'm 7 DPO too!

@RMS0209 I also noticed some EWCM after ovulation this month and was wondering if this meant I ovulated later than the apps calculated even though I was using OPKs?

Going to try and just not think about all of this until next week but it's easier said than done! Hope you all have a lovely and positive week!

Hope everybody has a fabulous week - my main goal this week, not stress over silly things.
Booking myself a massage for one day after work, attempting to WFH all week... see how long until I am demented.

Morning all!

Sorry I've been quiet I was away for the OH's mums birthday at the seaside, no signal! It was very wet and windy!! Currently 7 DPO predicted, nothing feels different so who knows! Had a short period of sharp pains yesterday but they've passed.

@Newbiemg I thought it was from your peak but that's onto what I've read x

@lakejupiter Thank you hopefully I will be able to tell from my BBT. This is the first cycle I’ve done it properly. Testing everyday at the same time Smile
