Hi all,

Minxi - Thought I'd do what you said and start a new thread for 2008 (even though we have got a few days to go). Sorry to hear about AF but pleased your staying positive definately get reflexology going its worked wonders for me

Hope you have all had a lovely christmas

Well I am scared to type this (let alone say it out load) after last time but I got a BFP this morning!!! I am so scared and happy all rolled into one because of MC in October I so hope this one holds on.

Also Clair - we have matching temperatures today! I hope that's a good omen (36.88 is a good high temperature to be having at 10DPO)!

FurtivelyPosting · 24/02/2008 14:22

Thanks, everyone.

Lottie - yes, the line did come up fairly quickly and certainly before 10 minutes were up. I've got a CB digi stashed away (was saving it for when I know it's going to be a BFP - there's nothing worse than seeing those bleak words 'not pregnant' staring up at you) and I think I will use it when I am officially 'late'. I might nip to the chemist tomorrow to buy a CB non-digi, jut to see if that gives me a clearer, more definite result.

I'd like to say thanks to all of you for support and good wishes over the past couple of days - it's really helped me and I appreciate it. I lan to hang around for a while longer, if you'll have me.

fym · 24/02/2008 13:47

I'm excited for you FP - makes me want to test!!! I didn't this morning as was up at 4am seeing DS with a nightmare (do they get nightmares at 2.3y? seemed like that)

PS Boots is doing a free first response test with every first response product bought - so you can buy one and get one free (or buy a twin pack and get a third free - maybe I'm a serial tester!! I do have the ebay cheepies but don't think they're as good.

FP Both photos certainly show a line to me!!!

FurtivelyPosting · 24/02/2008 10:56

I'm really nervous and a bit scared that I'm imagining things. It's early days yet, too. I've uploaded a couple of pictures of the test stick and I'd be so grateful if anyone took a look and commented on whether;

a)I'm gone mad and have imagined the whole thing
b) it's an evaporation line
c) it's a BFP

Trying so hard not to get excited.....

ClairLesley · 24/02/2008 10:31

OMG FP ... do you remember what I said earlier this month about a BFPP Big Furtively Posting Positive? This is so exciting ...

Not sure what to tell you from this end - got a high temperature again this morning, brown spotting has stopped but still have cramps and backache and AF due tomorrow. Also have sore boobs and nausea. Following high temp, decided to test using FMU - got BFN with ebay cheapy and a faint second line (although darker than yesterday's) with the Sainsbury's test. So I guees you could call that a BFP! It's still early days yet and I still feel like I have PMS and AF isn't late yet but fingers crossed. I'm in shock and so trying to deny it!

Morning ladies! please excuse the pathetic time that I am up, my body clock is all over the place! I am falling asleep too early and waking up too early, 3.00 am this morning! I am going to try and stay awake later tonight!
FP sorry that you think AF is on her way, I would really be happy if it was implantation spotting, are you going to test today??

Hey FP I've been thinking of you all day ... of course Lottie & Emmsy are right. (Being sensible was never my strong point!) Testing with FMU in the morning ought to do the trick ... How are you feeling? Maybe if you don't already have plans for tonight you could have a pampering session to try and de-stress/relax a little? In the meantime, I've got fingers, toes, legs, & arms crossed for you! Thinking of you xx

FurtivelyPosting · 23/02/2008 17:00

Thanks, everyone - you're all really kind.

Lottie - you're absolutely right. I'm trying really hard not to get my hopes up because I know I will be absolutely gutted when AF turns up. I'm convincing myself now that that is what is going to happen. My brown spotting is continuing and I really think that it's a sign that AF is approaching.

I haven't been back to look at the used tests again and I will do nothing more until tomorrow - I'll see what my temperature is like and then test using FMU (if my temperature seems favourable).

You're right too, TF - it is hard!

Emmsy - I hope it's not too long until I get to join you!

Emmsy1 · 23/02/2008 16:17

excuse my crappy spelling!

Emmsy1 · 23/02/2008 16:16

FP I agree, I don't want you to get too excited in case of disappointment but I really do hope you get that BFP tomorrow
last month I thought I saw a faint line on the sainsburys test, I tried not to get excited, the nect day I got my BFP!!! so fingers crossed hun xxxxx

Ah well, always next month and I really must remember that I have a fantastic little DD, so should not be in any rush.

Good luck FP I hear what Lottie is saying but it is so hard isn't it

That's so kind, Clair. I'm a bit scared - keep going back to the bathroom bin to get the tests out and look at them again. I can see a definite faint line on the Sainsbury's test and now I think I see one on the ebay test. But I could be imagining it or it could be just because they've been idling for a few hours now. Annoyingly, when I last went to the loo, I had some brown spotting. This make me think "Oh no, AF! " but then I think *brown blood is old blood. " and I'm still confused and worried that it's all just in my head.

I think I will wait until tomorrow and use my last Sainsbury's test with my FMU. Unless of course AF arrives by then.

ClairLesley · 23/02/2008 10:59

OMG FP!!! Before I even read your post, I saw your temp on the list and thought 'that's HIGH for 11dpo' ... how exciting . A line is a line is a line, right? Must be positive!!!! I don't want to come out and say the C word before you're more certain ... but please keep testing!! Need to run to the vet now (shots ... for dog, not me) but I will check for updates as soon as I'm back

Thinking of you

Good morning everyone.

Hello and welcome, Twinkling Fairy! I also heartily recommend temping and CM monitoring. It's all down to timing the old BD sessions too. Please do join in!

I'm in a right old state today. After feeling so despondant and certain that AF was just about to arrive, I had a big temp jump this morning. To say I was surprised would be an understatement! I still feel queasy, my boobs area little sore and I have a headache. The pink tinged CM that I was having (the spotting) seems to have eased off. So, I did a test (Sainsbury's own brand and a blue handled ebay cheapy) - BFN on the ebay cheapy but the very, very, tiniest, faintest of second lines on the Sainsbury's. I think that it is my mind playing tricks on me. I didn't use FMU either and am kicking myself now.

I feel like my body is playing tricks on me or my imagination has gone into hyperdrive. GAH!!!
