Oh poor you hana I would hate to have to travel to work. I used to take an hour to travel 20miles when I was fresh out of college, it was rubbish

Hope you can manage to de-stress. I have been in your situation (I think) BD wise. Have you tried pre seed? I am going to give it a go to see if it helps ease things a little. It can be hard to be hard at it so constantly, esp if so tired.

Some women are planning to be at it all month long where do they find the will power. Apart from it,often, being physically impossible for me to do it 2 days in a row (nevermind twice in one day) I would be worried that when it came to the important ov time, DH would be all worn out.

Hana I probably have had lot more problems than most with my employment post baby (we parted company in Sept last year - with a wedge of cash for me after I threatened to take the company to tribunal! - I now run my own business). However it made me think that I really wish someone had told me ages ago that I should plan my career around a family rather than commuting to a job miles away (although not as far as you!!)

I know this really isn't PC but women should be advised to do family friendly jobs - I don't mean low paid or menial just jobs you can work around family and career breaks!

just adding my temp, which has gone down again, Fym my chart's on the charts thread I dont think I've been charting long enough for it to make any sense. I just got quite excited yesterday as it's the highest temp I've had.

Welcome back Minxi!!

Hanaflower - couldn't help but visualize 'egg-pooping'!! Got to love typos ... that one is right up there with my 'Vita West' fiasco Wonder if Rattling could add any scientific words of wisdom re pooping eggs?

FYM - great advice! I'm looking for employment after our big relocation so I'll take your words re travel/daycare to heart too

Lottie - which OPKs do you use? Won't be long before you're getting down to business again!! Lucky you!! As I wait for AF to arrive, the whole BD'ing stage seems so very far away ... I'd better be careful or I'll end up wishing my life away TTC!!

It's blowing a living gale here! Need to go to the Post Office ... good thing I'm chunky or I'd be blown off my feet

minxi · 26/02/2008 11:33

and also forgot to termp each day so have no idea when if how why I ovulated etc etc all will be revealed next week I guess!

minxi · 26/02/2008 11:31

Hello girls...back from my travels, glad somebody is changing my day each day as had no idea what day I am on - didn't quite manage the bd at the right time - maybe once or twice but not hoping for too much again this month! oh well..
Congratulations FP on your bfp.... will catch up more later - heating has been off last 10 days and it is absolutely freezing and can't type as its toooo cold!!!

hana - Yes tension/stress can delay ovulation.

Just a thought for you - You say you both have crazy commutes - you will NOT be able to continue it once you have a baby! Maybe think about one of you changing jobs???? Less stress now and a manageable job once baby is here?

Just speaking from experience here - if you think about a routine with baby, they can't be dropped off at nursery before 8 and must be picked up by 6..... so you can't fit in a normal 9-5:30 working day with more than a 1/2 hour commute! Even using Grandma or another relative (which I do) you can't drop off too early or pick up too late.

I have to say no one said this to me and I ended up having a complete life/job change when DS came along cos I can't bear to leave him! but I wish someone had said and I'd have organised myself better...

ClairLesley · 26/02/2008 10:59

Hanaflower I'm so sorry! You're allowed to rant - completely understandable. Maybe you should go ahead and have a good old cry ... might help relieve some tension. Take care of yourself.

I think I'm resigned to a BFN this month. I have checked back on all my charts and my pregnant post OV temperatures are in the range 98.4-98.6 - my non pg post ov temps are 98.0-98.4.

I'm in the latter range so I'm guessing it'll be a negative!

My temp is the highest it's been this morning (despite temping an hour earlier as I had to run DH to airport) so even though I'm 99.99% certain that AF is on her merry way, stupid me did a test & got a BFN . Drat.
