Hello all...
welcome ladylush - temp taken daily...
Nappy...sorry to hear your feeling it - glad launch went well and try to relax...!!

Rah - how did it go....

Ready - hello to you too...

Another peak for me today and dh home tonight now so not doing too bad this month - for a change!

ladylush · 09/01/2008 11:43

Sorry - didn't mean to offend anyone. I can see that some of you have been trying for longer

ladylush · 09/01/2008 11:42

Hello ladies, mind if I join? TTC #2 and have been trying for a long time (over a year). Conceived 3 times but lost them. Now that ds sleeps better I am attempting temping. Any pointers gratefully received. I have an underactive thyroid so my temps are generally low (usually about 35.8). Do you take yours every day or only every day leading up to ovulation?

launch of new business went well, but left me afterwards feeling really depressed and I eat takeaway pizza for lunch and diet coke!! then in the evening I was crying my eyes out at the telly (much to DH's amusement ) and then I hardly slept - waking at 2.30 thru to at least 5.30 just tossing and turning. These are all classic signs that my hormones are having a major argument!!! Think acupuncture might be the way forward to sort out my cycle as I feel very unsettled.

Then again maybe it is stress or a simple delayed reaction to having a blood test and friend giving birth. I might be suppressing all my subfertility angst (love that word)

Rah am thinking of you and Isabella.

NappyValley · 08/01/2008 15:24

Well done minxi I know trying to get you and egg and your DH in the right place at the right time is a bit of a challenge!!!

NappyValley · 07/01/2008 20:20

OMG I have just read back my post and it sounds like we were doing something very naughty in the steam room. I should have typed "killed off DH's troops" .

Must be a Freudian slip caused by lack of activity!!!

YES just when you thought that mad woman from the south coast had disappeared... SHE' BACK and I missed all the exciting news of Gracie's BFP and not forgetting Excitable as well (it was a very short visit to us which is just what we want!!) So HUGE congratulations to you both. Gracie I am sure you must be very nervous after last time, but fingers crossed for smooth sailing.

Also so lovely to have Ready back on line. I agree that the reflexoligist should offer confidentiality. I'd go for it, especially if it is cut price!

Finally a big hello to the new comers.

Rah good luck for scan. We are scanning next cycle(which for those of you that are new means they use and ultrasound probe to check what your ovaries are doing and can see the follicles growing or if later in your cycle they can tell if you really ovulated)

Sorry I have been so quiet, we have had a month off trying - still we called off all of DH's troops in the steam rooms in Bath before Christmas!!! Apparently they take 11 weeks to mature!

Had to have another blood test today as it is CD21 and we have never got a clear progesterone reading, because of my silly short LP and day 21 falling on a weekend.

I have been soo busy as the launch of new business is tomorrow. Exciting and nervous.

HAPPY NEW YEAR - and didn't we have a bumper load of BFPS last May, shouldn't they be about to hatch????

Ready · 07/01/2008 17:32

Haha. FP - Good job you said, at CD7 we would have thought you were ill
Good luck with your meeting at work, I am sure they will accept your request at part time work. And fingers crossed that the viewers fall in love with your house. They wouldn't bother coming if they could easily spend more money. I know when we were looking we end up buying the cheaper of 2 as it was actually better and had more potential - so don't rule yourself out just yet.

FurtivelyPosting · 07/01/2008 16:57

Hello everyone - how are you all?

I've got to go to work on Friday to talk about my request to go back part time (I'm due back at work early February). I'm a bit nervous about it. Fingers crossed they approve my request and everything crossed that it won't be too much longer before I'm on maternity leave again.

We've got someone coming to view the house on Friday night. Whilst it's great to have a viewing, I'm not getting too excited about it. They're looking at loads of houses in a huge price bracket of which we're nearer the bottom than the top, so I imagine that they'll end up going for something much bigger than our house if that's what they can afford. I've had a look on Rightmove and there is a big difference between our house and the houses for sale at the upper end of their price bracket. Oh well - it's a viewing, I suppose.

Minxi - Glad you feel better after your walk! Keep it going with the walking, it's great exercise, better for the joints than pounding the pavements jogging

Rah - YEAAAH! Come on Isabella - Nice and fat and ripe

Anyone heard from NappyValley and Gracie and Rattling lately? Hope all is well?

RahRah1 · 07/01/2008 13:28

I'm not sure if you've ovulated yet Minxi, so keep going at it!

RahRah1 · 07/01/2008 13:26

Hi Minix I'm here!

I'm having trouble with my internet. We registered with Sky when we moved and had nothing but problems.

Sorry you have been feeling a bit low, I defo think its the Jan blues. I didn't want to take the xmas tree down yesterday!

My first appointment with the clinic is Wednesday so should find out what my egg is up to then. ... Isabella says hi!

4.5 miles walk this morning felt totally unfit but feel better - going to get exercise ball out in a minute for a few minutes of weights - well may as well as still have gym gear on!!

Rah where are you - getting ready for Isabella egg...! Hoep you are well

Am feeling a bit better today just like you say January blues...
right off to do my ball!!

Ready · 06/01/2008 21:15

All this hcb talk has prompted me to get some crumpets out of the freezer, ready for the morning. Next best thing

Still can't find my thermometer. Totally and utterly baffled. Have unpacked everything.

FurtivelyPosting · 06/01/2008 20:18

So could I.....I'm now thinking of them lightly toasted with lots of melting butter dripping off them.....

I think this time of year can make people feel low too, Minxi. January always seems like a long and arduous month. Hope that you feel pepped up after your exercise session.

I had to lol at your Tesco remark - I spotted some hot cross buns in my local Sainsbury's on Thursday (two days after new year's day, for flip's sake)! It's not as if they'll even keep until next week, never mind the end of March.

Minxi, Sorry to hear that you are feeling low (((hug))) - I reckon the exercise will pep you up a little. I feel low and it's sometimes just because I am sluggish and need to move about a bit. Going for a walk is sometimes enough to lift my spirits

I KNOW!! I couldn't believe my eyes yesterday in Tesco with the Easter Eggs already on the shelves. What is up with the world?

and has anyone seen Tesco's have Easter eggs already?!

FurtivelyPosting · 05/01/2008 13:18

oh no, don't be sorry, ready! please give advice wherever you can, espescially in relation to opks as i've never used them before. in fact, any advice is gratefully received - it's all good, as they say.

Ready · 05/01/2008 11:11

Wow FP!! Going for 4! I am liking the gap between your children . There's a 5 year gap between my brother and me, and I wouldn't change it. That said, I think that when my time comes to be a mum, I will probably (hopefully) not wait long for the next one. But if it took a while (and it's likely if ttc#1 is any guide) then I would not be worried. I am sorry I got the impression that you were a first-timer , I feel a bit of a plum giving advice on OPKs now

Hope everyone is having a good weekend so far. I am soo tired, it's ridiculous.

FurtivelyPosting · 05/01/2008 10:38

Lol again - in fact, that whole post was a grammatical disgrace! If you see a post from me written in lower case, littered with typos and completely lacking in grammar, you can assume that I've got the little fella sitting on my lap playing as I attempt to type!
