Temping buddies 9 - New year, new start, new bfp's please

Just popping in to wish good luck to Ready, Rah and Minxi- we are all getting v excited on the TTC grads thread. And of course good luck to everyone else on here (from a former temp buddy).

Ready you're not being daft at all - it's totally understandable that you want to protect yourself and not have to deal with any disappointment. I am keeping absolutely everything crossed for you. Early pregnancy symptoms can be just like PMS. With my last pregnancy, I had spotting and cramping right from the beginning until I was about 10 weeks gone. It felt exactly like when AF is kicking off - I was convinced that I was going to lose the pregnancy. I started reading up on Mumsnet and realised that this happens quite a lot and is quite normal.

I think that all of the signs are positive for you right now. Your temperature is looking particularly good; as you say, it has always dropped by now. I admire your strength to hold back on testing (I couldn't stop myself!) and I absolutely hope and wish that you get a lovely BFP on wednesday.

Rah and Minxi - don't give up; AF isn't here yet. I'm keeping everything crossed for you two as well. Here's hoping that this is the beginning of a run of BFPs!

Don't think my tpr was accurate today. Woke up, staggered to toilet (still drunk), brushed my teeth then flopped back into bed and took my tpr. My tongue was still cold from rinsing my mouth!

Why oh why oh why are the symptoms of PG EXACTLY the same as an impending AF????
With DS1 I had bleeding at CD32 (spotting in CM) and thought it was a very early miscarriage (already tested positive at CD 26 & 28 with a first response)- it turned out to be implantation bleeding. Thinking of you!

Ready well done you on not testing....!! I am hoping that this is it for you and you are on your way to number 1
Rah like rainbow said it could be implantation temp dip....pmt symptoms are still a sign of pg symps...

I however, am not looking likely this month have seen another sliver (is that right?) of coloured cm which to me is sure to be a sign...so I shall be back at the top in the next day or so. Hey ho.

Ready you are being sensible. With Christmas and the move etc you could well have ov'd later this month, stress does do things like that. Your dh is right, you will know by Wedneday anyway, either prementral feelings continue and you will clearly be pg or af will arrive (crossing fingers that is not what will happen). So well done on getting wee thrown away, you would only have tortured yourself more with the "but it was not first morning wee" excuse anyway. Now having said all that I never had that much stamina, hence why I bought a bulk order of cheap htp's! (want me to send them to you ? last time I did that for someone they found out they were pg before the load arrived!!!!!)

Rah - you are testing too soon - naughty naughty, you will not have your own levels high enough yet, I have not given up on you yet, I am thinking implantation dip for your temp today, and remaining positive for you until proven otherwise...

Minxi - you too it is looking good so far, hope this is it.

I do feel like my period is coming, I have done for 3 days now. And it is getting on my nerves. I just want to stop the tortue. My brain is telling me I ovulated later and I am having an odd long cycle, but my heart is hoping differently

Ok. I have officially cracked up. Pee-ed in a plastic pot, left it on the side, badgered dh about testing. He finally relented and said "ok, we'll test, because you won't relax will you?" and I wimped out and told him to tip it away! It's just that a little while ago I had a slightly longer than the norm cycle, and I tested and got a BFN and felt terrible, and stupid. So don't want to do that again. Sigh.

We had a great holiday

Temp was 97.7 this morning. I forgot the thermometer on holiday but my temp is up today from the usual 97.3 and I was predicted to OV on Wednesday. Am now CD 19 and waiting.

Ready go and test - my hubby was the same the first time round, so I just tested with a first response 2 days before AF was due - got a +ve then then had to wait test again when he said and told him! Mind you that was a hard two days....

I can't test, dh won't let me. Tut. I just said to him "Rah thinks I should test" - he just smiled and said "nope". Grrr.

I have heavy symptoms, so either they are pregnancy and would be able to detect HCG levels or pre-menstrual... Defo the latter as don't have a BFP!

But doesn't it take a little bit longer for some people's HCG to build up? So your injected stuff could have worn off, but then your own might be slower at building up??

Well isn't this torturous! Minxi, Ready and me all waiting for our periods or not!

Well mine is due tomorrow, temp dropped this morning and have been suffering BAD pmt and cramps. Plus one strange symptom of large nipples! lol - Tested but BFN, where I had tested before and got a faint positive, so must of been the HCG injection as previously thought. HCG must of departed and been replaced by pre-menstrual hormones

There must however be at least one of us pregnant! So Minxi/Ready who is going to test first?

Have my fingers crossed that its both of you. XXXXX XXXXX

3 days before OV FP can still be good - I know you didn't meet greedy, but her DH went away a few days before OV the cycle she conceived... so it just takes one rambo sperm you never know!

I have got a test, but I am reluctant to dh won't le me test until wednesday. And I'd rather do it with the first wee anyway, right?

Is it really true that you can be pregnant and get strong twinges/cramps?

I have looked over my booklet, I've had a couple of longer than 28 day cycles in the last 17 months. The only thing is my temp usually drops by now, so I am hoping. I just know I am going to look stupid in a couple of days

Ready - have you ever gone as far as CD31 before? I don't want to jinx you or anything but early pregnancy symtpoms can feel like PMS, right down to the cramps. Your high temp is pretty impressive too. How long do you think you will wait until you test?

Not much to report here. FF has finally given me my cover line and crosshairs! As I suspected, I ovulated on Thursday so our BD timing was all out (or rather, DH's was). The closest we got to the ovulation date was three days before, so not good. I'm 3DPO now and fully expecting AF to arrive in 10 days time.

Knicker Checker Extraordinaire here - at this rate we might run out of toilet roll. Ok, someone tell me that my temp being high is because I sleep with a hot water bottle??? I am torturing myself here . I feel distinctly pre-menstrual, and have done for a couple of days now - so where is CD1? I really wish I had found my thermometer earlier

Well ff said to test today as lp varies between 12 - 14 days.... anyway I didn't. I am sure af is on its way as had an odd watery coloured cm (sorry tmi) sign last night... so am waiting for the red arrival!

Rah where are you what is going on with you - when can you test ? ordo you have to go back to the hospital....
