Hope you have all had a lovely christmas

Well I am scared to type this (let alone say it out load) after last time but I got a BFP this morning!!! I am so scared and happy all rolled into one because of MC in October I so hope this one holds on.

Thank you Fruitloop ... that makes sense. I'm with you ... if I hear any of my friends say 'it was SO easy' one more time, I'll vomit into the offender's handbag ... and then rub it in!! (I know deep inside I'm classier than this ... I think)

Good Morning Rah - hope you have a great weekend too!

Morning everyone! Hope you're all having great weekends.

Clair - I would also suggest using your first temperature (because you would have had at least three hours sleep before taking that one) and noting the time difference. As it is, it seems that the difference between the two temps is 0.04 degrees - would this effect your overall pattern (some women have temperatures that vary by very small degrees while others need to see a big difference for it to have an effect, IYSWIM)?

RahRah1 · 16/02/2008 10:21

Morning all

Hope everyone is well and have a great weekend.

fruitloop79 · 16/02/2008 10:14

Hi clair now I'm certainly no expert, only been temping a week but I would record the 1st temp and note the time difference.
I'm also very x 1,000,000. It seems all my friends are falling pg very easily and within about a month of coming off the pill . WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY

ClairLesley · 16/02/2008 10:10

Good Morning everyone! I'd love your advice please ... didn't sleep well last night. I kept waking up. Normally the alarm going off is a sign for me to take my temp but I jumped the gun this morning and took it at least 1.5hrs earlier thinking my DH had turned the alarm off for the weekend. Anyhow, my temp had dropped again to 36.54 (I was hoping to continue my post-ov rise pattern) ... silly me took it again close to my normal testing time and it was 36.58. However, there would not have been 3 hours sleep in between ...

What temp do I record?

To make matters worse I was dreaming that this girl-that-used-to-be-my-friend-but-who-is-not-my-friend-anymore invited me to a party where she announced to everyone she was 3 mths pregnant. I was x 1,000,000!! I've turned into a monster and I know it sounds like I'm still in primary school

Anyhow, if you can give me a little advice on the temp thing, I'd really appreciate it (I know FF says NEVER to adjust etc ...)

Oooo ... and there are vendors in the hallway selling hot dogs with fried onions, full-sugar Coke, and fresh hot sugary donuts ... YUM!!!!

Professional BD'ing does build one's appetite{grin}

fym · 15/02/2008 20:32

to all of you around OV (like me!)

Hope your DH/DP 's ~o are swimming in the right direction - just imagine the scene, a bedroom with Ant, Dec and Vita commentating through the window and Shaggy and Peggy cheerleading in the corner....

enough to put you off yet!!!

Ha! Remember we were talking about the BD Olympics?

This could be our logo:

OK, so it doesn't really look like the five Olympic rings, but you get the idea

Ready Thanks so much for looking at my chart - very kind of you!!

Hello Greedy, long time no see ? how?s it going? How is the beautiful Marcy doing?

Minxi,

Rattling, I am 9dpo The reason I took it out was because it got stuck on 2, and then 6? so I felt it might be misleading if I didn?t get on early enough to change it myself How are you doing?

Fruity, I have no advice for you on your chart I?m afraid, but I assume it is the PCOS that is causing the lengthy cycles? Frustrating!!

Hanaflower, you read my mind!! I was going to mention about the previous days temps ? I didn?t know if I was coming or going

FP, well do I know this temping lark or what?

FYM, your ds ? what a cutie!!

ClairLesley, I looked at your chart, and I think you are going to need a couple more temps to be sure, but judging by the + opks and and CM, I?d say you ovulated on CD16. Will watch to see how FF interprets it over the next few days Don?t stress about how much action you squeezed in, it only takes one o~

Everyone else ? big wave. Hope all is well.

greedygreedyguzzler · 15/02/2008 16:41

just realised you prob dont even remember me and are wondering who the weirdo stalker is! oh well, nevermind!

greedygreedyguzzler · 15/02/2008 16:41

love greedy old greedster!

fruitloop79 · 15/02/2008 14:34

Thanks FP Yes it's very normal for very long cycles. They range from 35-88 days so you can see why I'm being impatient!
Gp's referred me to Gynae at sub-fertility unit so I imagine I'll be poked and prodded for blood before anything helpful is done. Thaks for looking though x

FurtivelyPosting · 15/02/2008 14:29

Gah! I looked at your chart Fruity and posted a reply in the chart thread like a big loon! Here's what I said;

Hi Fruity. I had a quick look but I have to confess that I know very little about long cycles/charts or PCOS charts. All I can say is that a temperature drop is the best indicator that AF is on the way. Of course, every woman is different - for example, I don't get my temperature drop until CD1 and I've usually had a few days of spotting by then. Other women get a sudden drop the day before and others experience a gradual decline in temperature. All I can say is that I can't see a temperature drop on your chart yet. I'm sorry that I can't be any more helpful or that this probably isn't what you want to hear. Fingers crossed that your cycle becomes clearer very soon. Is it usual for you to have cycles this long? Has your GP given you any advice? Sorry if I'm being nosy - just tell me to push off if you'd rather not say!!

ClairLesley · 15/02/2008 14:03

Thank you so much FP ... it was very good of you to look . I'm glad you think yesterday was it too ... am so tired of BD'ing right now . Hopefully my temp will stay up the next couple of days!

fruitloop79 · 15/02/2008 13:47

Would someone have a look at my chart for me please? I'm on CD54 and I can't tell if it looks like AF's coming or not. I know there's not much to go by but is there a clue?

FurtivelyPosting · 15/02/2008 13:42

Clair - just had a quick look at your chart and I'm inclined to agree with you. I think you ovulated yesterday too. If you get high temps tomorrow and the day after, I reckon FF will note yesterday as your ovulation date too. Then you can note how many days post ovulation (DPO) you are in your stats and sit out the dreaded 2WW!
