Can we start a no 15 now i have just got AF thats it really need to go and eat ALL of the choc chip cakes just made with dd.

Munnzie, you have to do what's right for you! I'm a sizeable gal (shop at Evans, Ann Harvey etc.) and it is only recently that I have become comfortale with my size, helped by the fact dp adores me and finds me ever so sxy! Nothing to stop you starting a healthy eating plan and upping your excercise if that's how you feel. I'd get Christmas out the way, enjoy the festive season and then start 2005 with a new set of goals.

i'm soooooooooooooooooooooooo depressed now, (i'm cleaning my clothes cupboard) and half or it doesn't fit, the other half has my love handles hanging out every where and it's not like i'm bursting with confidence anyways. (don't like the daringly young looking clothes.... not with my figure any ways) so shall i a) do a bridget jones style diet, or wait till I concieve and then loose weight afterwards, or just do nothing all round? def go to work on these hips and mid drift anyways.

Last night when I went to bed I noticed that when laying on my left side I had an uncomfortable sort of pulling senstation. Still trying to will myself pregnant but will just have to waitit out.....

I know what you mean munnzieb, before last week I didn't really like raw onions - if I'm not PG then God knows what's going on!!

sorry miaou but UUUUUUUUUUUUUUURGGGGGGGGGG! lol, I only eat them really well done in foods so I can't tell ie/ spag bol or cott. pie, otherwise is the little sliver skins for me! lol.

oooh no munnzieb - am afraid it is raw onions (am still putting them in sandwiches with cheese or tuna just now, although I think I may graduate to sliced onion tout seule at this rate....)

Hi folks, not posted on here for so long that you have probably forgotten who I am! I'm ttc no. 3 and am on my 3rd cycle, and as of today I am 3 days late for AF! DH is away atm so I am going to see if he minds me testing when he's not there to look too - however I'm not sure I could wait until next Friday to test! Certainly don't feel AF-y IYKWIM, no aching pelvis, but I have got v. tender boobs and I can't stop eating onions!!! Will ring DH later today and if he is ok about it I will test tomorrow am. Wish me luck.

dpo- days past ovulation
cm- cervical mucus
ewcm- egg white cervical mucus
BFP - big fat positive
BFN - big fat negative (relating to pregnancy test)
OPK - Ovulation Prediction Kit

I'm 9 dpo (apparently!) and on cd26 and although I had that teeny weeny hope that we may of been lucky this month I've got some periody type pains already [sad}

Thanks Jeddah for the advice on OV kits, think I have been doing it wrong as have been bd AFTER 24 hours of a positive result- will refine my habits!

My DS has had most horrific virus in the last week including 3 days of him not eating - I know DR will say "Just a virus" but never seen such misery in the poor child. Apparently horrible virus is going aroun UK. Anyone else with a poorly Toddler ?

Hi Jeddah - at the moment we live near to Knowsley.

mp - I tell DH all about it, after all y should he not suffer the hormonal things and the can't eat anything or drink anything cos AF is due the day later. (besides he's my double checker as it were) for teh two lines on the OV kits. He's brilliant at it all with the BFN's i've had he's been really supportive, and bought me big bars of Dairy milk! lol. Now overseas he still gets to hear about all of it! he he. (might well ba only this time thou as it's our first, so i'm making the most of including him with everything! lol.

Hi everyone, sorry I haven't been around for a while, I've been in the boring first 2 weeks of my cycle and trying not to think about ttc obsessively! no doubt you'll hear more from me over the next 2 weeks! Congratulations to the BFPS!! Thank goodness we have some, it went quiet for so long. Great news.

Ernest, I'm the same, I establish from dh whether he wants another one, and then it is my little project. I dont tell him when we should be bding, don't tell him when I test, don't tell him about af... just tell him when I get a bfp! Less stressful that way I think, and less pressure on everyone. And avoids the silly questions I'd get resulting from his complete lack of understanding of biology (along the "don't you get af when you are pregnant then?" lines)

Not too fussed about getting pg this week as I think end august is the worst time - feeling fat and hot and knackered through the summer, can't go abroad in the summer holidays, have a baby who is the youngest in his class, can't be fully engaged for the others at the beginning of their school year, etc etc etc. Can you tell I've done that once already?! End Sept would be MUCH nicer. So feeling pretty relaxed about it all this month!

mp, i don't tell dh cos it'd just piss him off. I'll let him know if/when I get a bfp, tho' seems a long way off now. started off this ttc buisiness full of confidence & bravado, but now 8 or so days late, no af only bfn. If af doesn't start in next day or 2 it will delay by at least couple of months being able to start using persona, which I will not be pleased about. there is no way I could discuss this dh - that's what you lot are here for!
