🤣 Putting the gown on. They are just like hospital ones. I was so nervous though- watching the paracetamol dripping into me like- bloody get in there! Whilst also thinking how can paracetamol help anything! 🤭 it was all fine though. And over really fast!

@Minster2012 yes, inseminations tomorrow and Sunday and then again on Wednesday, though if I peak before Weds I might move it forward if logistics allow (he's coming here until Sun but to try again after that I need to travel to him).

I asked about taking the Gonasi! It's because the buserelin doesn't contain any HCG or something, so if I get a transfer I'll get a tiny dose of it to get me through to the luteal phase.

@pennysays ovulation is holding off! No EWCM and low OPKs so just have the flashing smiley. Coparent arrives tomorrow night so even if I peak tomorrow we are good for the weekend! I usually get at least a day of EWCM before a peak OPK though so I think I just got a random early flashing smiley this month...

@Minster2012 😂 well indeed. I although I started taking high strength vit d and b3 and genuinely felt my mood shift. Though placebo effect is very powerful! Interesting about the fish oil and cod liver oil… how do they make those vegan?

@InkyPaper I'm just confused what the gonasi is for? You need to ask so we all know! 🤣 And I think ivf is a bit like that. Usually I need to know everything but I literally did switch off as it was easier to just do as you were told and not worry about it. 🤣 Fingers crossed for a fresh transfer! 🤞

@Franklydear oh yeah, the whole thing is just maybe this will happen or maybe that will happen and nothing is concrete. @paintfairy oh yeah egg collection is going ahead tomorrow, it's just the fresh transfer that's up in the air, but that all depends on how many eggs they get. Apparently they'll give me the Gonasi after collection if I can have a fresh transfer

@paintfairy I'm like half triggered 😂 because of the OHSS risk they're being extra careful. The actual trigger shot is the Gonasi one, so I've been told I have to bring it tomorrow, just in case I can actually be triggered I suppose! No idea how it all works 🙈

@InkyPaper I'm confused by that as the trigger takes 36 hours to work? So I did mine sat night for egg collection Monday morning. So how does that work? 🤔 I know they can use buserelin to trigger, so are you like half triggered? 🤣 What's the other one you have?

Mine was at 9.30am though and I was pleased to get out over with. Better than it being in the afternoon and you dreading it all day! Plus you can come home and put your feet up! 😁 You also can't eat before etc so it being in the morning is good!

@Somatronic I feel your pain!! I must've tested a billion times before IVF kicked off (and even afterwards tbh)

Egg collection tomorrow at hideous o' clock in the morning 😄 had the buserelin shot last night and I have to take my proper trigger shot with me tomorrow, so if there are less than 20 eggs they'll give it to me so the fresh transfer can go ahead. Glad it was OK for you @paintfairy, that's reassuring as I'm really nervous about it!

@pennysays the coenzyme10 is to try improve egg quality, the vitamin D often recommended for most ppl anyway (they said for covid too blah blah), fish oil also for egg quality, but cod liver oil you can't take so I found the future you one is safe for TTC & pregnancy (& I think fish oil just good anyway), vitamin C I'd seen commented on lots of TTC threads (again can't harm) & blood flow plus was because I always had a thin uterus lining on my ivf scans so I was told to try do things to improve my blood flow (exercise, pomegranate juice things like that)
DH on their mens fertility one try improve sperm (though he was ok on that anyway) & the future you one had been recommended by a few ivf clinics for sperm issues (someone on our thread got pregnant as the ivf drugs were waiting in her fridge and he was told to have these)

All of them are vegan & organic so I thought what the hell anything to try!

I removed my piss pot from the bathroom for a bit so it wasn't there for FMU so no point in testing that day @Somatronic. Although going on some other ladies, I'm much more hopeful this is it now you've had your initial IVF meeting 🤞🏼
