Hi Everyone,

I thought I’d start a new thread for February following the January one.

About to start month 4 of TTC after a MC last month.

The months seem so long with a TWW thrown in but then I also can’t believe I’m about to start cycle 4! (I know that isn’t a long time for some of us and that makes me feel sad, TTC is so unfair at times)

Anyway, feel free to join if you’d like to get through February together! X

@Nico89 good luck with the scan and new job it’ll keep you distracted at least. I once thought i had that with my right ovary but turned out to be my appendix (didn’t burst) I was also always constipated. Have your cycles been affected by this?

Just worked out i will be 11dpo on my birthday so there’s a big chance i am gonna have a very miserable birthday and then valentines day too…
Never been a big eater and now all i can do to drown out my sorrows is eat and so my weight keeps increasing.
If this month is a fail i am booking a short stay away and starting running again. I will take a break from ttc and do more shifts at work. It is all i think about…

@waffle222 wow that is impressive 8 times accidental or cycle 1. I have had two cycle ones on stopping protection and thought that was like winning the lottery but nothing so far on this very active trying by dtd in fw and tracking ovulation…i don’t think it is working for me

Nico89 · 03/02/2022 13:07

Hi ladies coming back to the threads, I took Jan off the threads as my head was all over the place. Still TTC, AF due tomorrow but really didn't manage to DTD at all at the right times so not expecting anything at all. We were actually almost trying to not catch in January as I was offered a new job and waiting to check how long before i would be eligible for maternity pay! Good news is that because it is working for the same large company all be it at a different place it counts as continuous employment which is great news as we can just carry on trying.
I'm having a pelvic ultrasound this month as GP is concerned I may have an ovarian cyst as have constant pain/discomfort in the region of my right ovary which has been ongoing for some time.

Natalie2304 · 03/02/2022 11:17

@Mummyh14 I got a negative on 10 DPO with DD and then a vvfl on FRER at 11 DPO. You're definitely not out yet!

Natalie2304 · 03/02/2022 11:15

I'm trying so hard not to symptom spot but my chin and around my mouth is full of acne! I don't suffer with acne at all anymore so not a clue what that's all about! But it was the only symptom I had when I found out I was pregnant with DD 🤞🏻
@Decaffe as @Curlywurly3 said a lot of people don't get any symptoms before BFP. Apart from the spots I have nothing with my DD until week 7/8!

waffle222 · 03/02/2022 11:13

@Curlywurly3

I like your confidence *@waffle222*! How long have you been trying for?

You could wrap a digi test up and give it to him as a valentines gift

@DancinOnTheCeiling it’s very early days so 🤞🏻 I find testing early helps with the disappointment of AF showing up. I have a BFN now but I still have hope, if it continues to be a BFN then I expect AF. If it turns it’s to a BFP then obviously that will be the best thing EVER!!

Only cycle 2, but have been pregnant 8 times all either accidental or cycle 1. So quietly confident..

That's a nice idea. I was think maybe a card with a pun.. I just want to keep my mind occupied until then. 3DPO and its dragging already!

I totally get your logic @Curlywurly3. I usually don’t test early at all because of seeing a BFN and how horrible that feels. That’a why I had put my name down for testing tomorrow as I wanted to make sure it was definitely past AF due date. Then on Monday I suddenly thought along the lines of your thinking ie I was sure AF was coming and thought I might as well test and get confirmation AF is coming to avoid to horrible wait (and then got the big shock). Uncertainty is sooo hard isn’t it? 🤞🏻🤞🏻 for you xx
Curlywurly3 · 03/02/2022 10:55

@Mummyh14 I had a BFN at 10DPO and a BFP at 11DPO unfortunately it ended in MC but I know people who don’t get BFP’s later than 10DPO. I really hope this is your month

This link gives some hope… www.countdowntopregnancy.com/pregnancy-test/dpo-chart.php?dpo=8

@Curlywurly3 same here I’m 10 dpo and bfn.
I had cramps around 6dpo but I have no pregnancy symptoms and af is not due for another 7 days. Just want this month to be over already so I can try again in March I’m away during ovulation this month I think anyway.

Good luck for you though!

Curlywurly3 · 03/02/2022 09:35

@Decaffe soooo many people don’t have any symptoms before their BFP

kizzy97 · 03/02/2022 09:31

@melbxldn 33 days in the end, normally 28 like clockwork so I don't have a clue what's going on with me at the moment

Decaffe · 03/02/2022 09:13

Morning all!

6dpo here and no symptoms whatsoever. No twinges, no cramps, no funny aches or pains.

@kizzy97 how long was your last cycle in the end? Opk good for me as I found out I actually ovulate on day 16 of my 28 day cycle not day 14 like the apps said

motherone20 · 03/02/2022 08:24

I tested yesterday with about 7/8 DPO and a BFN, but I am bloated as hellllllll Hmm

kizzy97 · 03/02/2022 08:15

CD16 today, hopefully I'll ovulate soon!

waffle222 · 03/02/2022 08:15

Im feeling very optimistic this month.

Has anyone got an creative ways to reveal a BFP to their partners? It'll be our valentines night away when I should find out so any suggests would be fab!

🤞

DancinOnTheCeiling · 03/02/2022 07:55

@Curlywurly3 seeing a BFN is so horrible isn’t it; it’s early days though. Hopefully the fact you feel pregnant is a premonition/good sign 🤞🏻🤞🏻Xx

Curlywurly3 · 03/02/2022 07:22

Morning! Also 8DPO and I tested 🤦🏼‍♀️ BFN. I tested because I do feel a little bit pregnant but it could also be AF brewing

MummyMe87 · 03/02/2022 06:12

Good morning 8dpo, work today so I’ll be fairly occupied.

DancinOnTheCeiling · 02/02/2022 23:41

Oh by the way @ everyone I too have been wearing thick socks as have heard it can help, so put those socks on ladies 🧦🧦🧦 xx

DancinOnTheCeiling · 02/02/2022 23:38

Ps @Natalie2304 trust your gut feeling.. maybe it’s telling you something. Some people seem to just know before their BFP - maybe that’s you? Xx

DancinOnTheCeiling · 02/02/2022 23:37

Thank you @Natalie2304. 🤞🏻🤞🏻 for you xx

DancinOnTheCeiling · 02/02/2022 23:35

Aw @mightbeyesmightbeno that sounds so confusing, no wonder you’re anxious. How annoying that the GP was so vague. I don’t know what to advice, just wanted to say am thinking of you xx

TheBirdintheCave · 02/02/2022 23:35

@MrsSamRowley I’m CD9 too :) Good luck to you! :D It should still be ten days til I ovulate though I seem to have the beginnings of EWCM. My body is doing weird things at the moment.

DancinOnTheCeiling · 02/02/2022 23:34
@DancinOnTheCeiling - ah good shout - I saved the graphic that was posted from Purple so am going to adjust it. I need to get my cycle clear in my head, I’ve been tracking on period app but I think I’m going to use OPKs for next month to try and work out when I ovulate. It’s such early days and I’m learning so much….makes me realise how complicated it is which makes your good news story even more joyous! Xx
@Worryant yes might be a good idea to use OPKs for a bit.. my understanding of the purple method is that it works well if you know your cycles quite well.. and if you roughly know when to ovulate as then you can use the purple method without OPKs.. good luck with it all xx
