Hi Everyone,

I thought I’d start a new thread for February following the January one.

About to start month 4 of TTC after a MC last month.

The months seem so long with a TWW thrown in but then I also can’t believe I’m about to start cycle 4! (I know that isn’t a long time for some of us and that makes me feel sad, TTC is so unfair at times)

Anyway, feel free to join if you’d like to get through February together! X

I checked my test this afternoon and it's gone darker. I know it's after the 3 minutes but there was a line prior so who knows? I can only hope :)

The month of valentines, pancakes and lot’s of BFP’s! 🤞🏻❤️
arianasky · 04/02/2022 16:25

@Purple29 ooh how exciting hopefully you get a BFP and AF stays away 🤞🏻

motherone20 · 04/02/2022 15:43

I've just caved and tested and it was invalid Angrygrrrrr

Purple29 · 04/02/2022 15:41

@arianasky can def see those lines!!! Really really hoping this is your month. I've just bought a test to do in the morning but I really think I'm out, just a feeling the AF is coming!!!

arianasky · 04/02/2022 15:39

@RosyappleA of course, so this month I took the advice of warm feet from this thread 😂 I've had cosy socks and slippers on all the time haha! I take coq10 for egg quality and seven seas TTC vitamins and I've taken baby aspirin that I got in Tesco from O day as someone said it can help so hopefully it does 🤞🏻 apart from that nothing different at all

RosyappleA · 04/02/2022 15:10

@arianasky such good news I really hope this one sticks for you! Would you mind sharing what worked for you this month? I think i am out again. Love hearing your stories.
@Mariabombia ah good old AF, sorry to hear that. Fingers crossed for next month. I am feeling more positive about spring approaching.

arianasky · 04/02/2022 14:06

Thank you @MummyMe87 and @Tinkerbell098

@Tinkerbell098 I have everything crossed for you 🤞🏻💕

MummyMe87 · 04/02/2022 13:46

@arianasky fab lines for 9dpo!! Cautious congratulations lovely

I’ve bought more FRER 😬🥴 will test again tomorrow. With DS2 I got the faintest of lines on 10dpo and a proper line on 11dpo. Praying to every god

Tinkerbell098 · 04/02/2022 13:38

@arianasky that's a beautiful line for 9dpo! Sending you all the luck in the world it'll stick this time. Update us please xx

Tinkerbell098 · 04/02/2022 13:37

@Mariabombia hey lovely, no worries at all, I find it hard to keep up as well. It's ok, ask away! MN has been a great source of information for me, so I'm pleased to help out in any way.
So, I rang up GP July time last year, when we first realised we may be having problems. She ran all the routine blood tests (Day 21, thyroid, prolactin, etc), even checked for diabetes. Aug, OH had his SA done, at which point she referred me to the fertility clinic as there was no obvious problem and said that a referral can take ages so by the time I hear back, it would be about 1.5 years of TTC. I think it depends on the Trust as to how long it takes to get a first appointment and she said it could even take a year (it's been 6 months now, with nothing back from them). She referred me for ultrasound back in Nov as I requested it, and I've got my appointment for this evening, so that's taken another 2 and a half months. Think the backlog for ultrasound is crazy at the moment, so I think that amount of time was actually ok, considering. So that's all I've had done on the NHS.
Yes, in terms of other tests, it's just AMH and HSG left to do, to make a diagnosis. I'm not sure what the waiting times are for an HSG on the NHS, but it's pretty much immediate if you go private. With my age, I don't really want to be hanging around, especially if any surgery is required, I need to know now. Which is why we have considered getting the remaining tests done privately.

babydreamin · 04/02/2022 13:34

@arianasky fingers crossed it sticks and please update us!🙏✨

arianasky · 04/02/2022 13:30

@babydreamin thank you 💕 I'm being cautious as I had a CP begins of January so hoping this one sticks and I'll be more excited in a few days 🤞🏻

babydreamin · 04/02/2022 13:28

@arianasky congrats!! I can definitely see those lines 😍🥳

arianasky · 04/02/2022 13:22

Hello all, I haven't written on here for a few days but I think I may have got my BFP today, I had a faint line yesterday but it's a little darker today I'm 9dpo I think...

The month of valentines, pancakes and lot’s of BFP’s! 🤞🏻❤️

@Tinkerbell098 thank you so much for sharing! Apologies if you've said all this before but this thread can be hard to keep up with.

Did you get any tests with the nhs initially? I've been referred for an ultrasound with nhs but not sure how long it'll take.

So after ultrasound and bloods, you then get HSG X-ray? Do you know what test is after that? Or is that it? Sorry for the million questions .

Bless you, I hope the investigations go well and you can start your pregnancy journey soon lovely.

Tinkerbell098 · 04/02/2022 12:34

@TheBirdintheCave thank you :)

@Mariabombia sorry AF arrived. It's the worst! We've been trying for about 14 months now (possibly longer as have lost count now). The initial consultation was £225, for AMH and HSG it's about £500 (so bye bye bank balance!). We've waited to hear back from the NHS fertility clinic for 6 months now, so since we haven't, we decided to go private. I'm 36 now, so didn't want to hang around as we are still trying for our first. But once all the investigations are done, the private clinic can then refer me to the NHS clinic for treatment if we want to go down the IVF route. Would like to try for about 2 years before we do that though.

Mariabombia · 04/02/2022 11:36

AF arrived today 😕 even though I've been getting negative tests a little part of me was hoping the pelvic pain I've been having was really severe implantation 🤣

Congratulations @Diamondbabe !! That's a great line for so early on 🎉👏🏻

@Tinkerbell098 hope alll goes well with your scan tonight! How long have you been ttc for if you don't mind me asking? Were the private tests expensive ?

TheBirdintheCave · 04/02/2022 11:35

@Diamondbabe Congratulations that's a great line for 9dpo :D
@Tinkerbell098 Good luck :)

Cookiedough123 · 04/02/2022 10:37

Oh also i keep getting shooting pains in my breasts but I have got implants in and that may be why 🤷‍♂️

Cookiedough123 · 04/02/2022 10:23

Nice to see some positives this morning!!

I'm 6DPO now. Funny the above person mentioned UTI. I feel a bit like that. I did put it down to more sex than usual and we also use baby oil 😂 have used it for years and wondered if it had just irritated me this time as we don't usually use it this much!! I have had some cramps last night and this morning. I did have a ridiculous worry this morning. I was up on and off all night with wisdom tooth pain so about 5am took some ibuprofen and then googled does ibuprofen affect implantation and then couldn't really get back to sleep cos thought well it could of worked but I won't know now 😂

Tinkerbell098 · 04/02/2022 09:35

@Diamondbabe woow! What a great line for 9dpo! Doesn't look like an indent to me as it's quite strong for 9dpo! All the best!

@Curlywurly3 @Purple29 @MummyMe87 fingers crossed for you all xx

I had my first private appointment yesterday. It was good to go through the test results and all, but I don't think I gained anything knowledge wise. Next step is to get an HSG and AMH done possibly in the next three weeks. I've got my ultrasound this evening. Wish me luck!

MummyMe87 · 04/02/2022 09:30

@mightbeyesmightbeno I was fairly sure I felt ovulation with my second baby on 7dpo.

Natalie2304 · 04/02/2022 09:23

@lottieb92 LP usually stays the same so it should push back your AF due date. Hoping you get your peak soon!

Natalie2304 · 04/02/2022 09:22

@Diamondbabe good strong line for 9DPO 🤞🏻 for line progression.

6DPO here and woke up with what feels like an UTI (which I haven't had since my last pregnancy) obviously consulted Dr Google and so many women have it before a BFP. That along with the constant mild cramps, sensitive teeth and backache is making me really impatient to test! Really hope I'm not just making it all up!

lottieb92 · 04/02/2022 09:20

Hey everyone! Congrats on all the BFPs and a defo see one there @Diamondbabe !! Fingers crossed for you ✨

I’m still hanging on by a thread… excuse the pun.
But my predicted ovulation was off, and LH only just surging so hoping the next day or two I’ll find a peak.
(Especially as I only have 3 O tests left lol)
And gosh me and other half are exhausted at the prospect of more days, but luckily I decided to be an every other day kinda gal this cycle or else I think we’d be over and out already.

Has anybody else got experience of later ovulation? I’m assuming it’ll push my period back? Or luteal phase I’m not 100%. But I do usually have 30-34 day cycles so it could be nothing …. Time will tell 🥰
