Hi Everyone,

I thought I’d start a new thread for February following the January one.

About to start month 4 of TTC after a MC last month.

The months seem so long with a TWW thrown in but then I also can’t believe I’m about to start cycle 4! (I know that isn’t a long time for some of us and that makes me feel sad, TTC is so unfair at times)

Anyway, feel free to join if you’d like to get through February together! X

@Bundaberg84 thanks for that thread link, i am supposed to ovulate today and couldn’t dtd last night i was absolutely shattered. I think next month we will try not get too excited too early on 😅 on my second cup of coffee already today…

Welcome newcomers, thanks to everyone contributing here it is keeping me sane and I love catching up with everyone’s journey.

I am still static smiley today, day 6, i really need to throw a party for static smiley if it ever happens at this rate

mightbeyesmightbeno · 29/01/2022 15:52

@CJB92 sorry to hear about AF arriving :(

I've gone from empty smileys to static today. No flashing. A day earlier than predicted but guess that's not an issue. Except was planning to DTD today (which we have done) and tomorrow or next day in hopes that I'd get 2 BD's in before static smiley so there was plenty of swimmers hanging around.

Guess will still go for it tomorrow but will have to hope that I'm one of the lucky one time wonders that were on the other thread that has been mentioned!🤞

Mummyh14 · 29/01/2022 14:37

Hi new here. I have come to this thread since I am due my period on 9th February but ovulate in January very early. Currently 6 days post ovulation fingers crossed how’s everyone else doing. Smile

BigAlice · 29/01/2022 14:29

Hello everyone, sorry I’ve been dead quiet on this tread….but the flashing smileys have started today so time to get busy! Going to try and now overdo it during the flashing stage as don’t want to run out of steam when the static comes!

CJB92 · 29/01/2022 11:30

Hello everyone. I just came over from the January thread as it seems AF has just arrived, light so far but cramps are setting in! Fx for bfps this month as January was so lucky for quite a few people x

arianasky · 29/01/2022 11:17

@Bringonbaby3 fingers crossed it happens soon 🤞🏻

Bringonbaby3 · 29/01/2022 11:04

@arianasky I usually ovulate around day 15/16 I think but I’m currently day 15 and no signs yet except EWCM. No positive opks yet (although I’ve never really got positives!). Hopefully I’ll have signs I’ve ovulated in a few more days!

arianasky · 29/01/2022 08:17

@Bringonbaby3 when do you normally ovulate? Mine ended up being 7 days late this month CD19 instead of CD13, I hope it means that for us sending us both all the luck 🙏🏻🌈

MummyMe87 · 29/01/2022 06:16

Also another who got pregnant from having sex once, outside of what I thought was my FW 😬 ended up being an ectopic however. Typical how it happens as now we actually want another baby and it takes massive effort!

Bringonbaby3 · 29/01/2022 05:59

Sorry to all those not getting in enough baby dancing before ovulation! It does only take one though. With my second child we were actively avoiding sex in the fertile week/using condoms as we wanted an age gap bigger than 2 years. I messed up and had sex on the first green day once…thought it would be okay if we didn’t have more as it was still 5 days from ovulation….but she’s now age 3! Sperm are definitely pretty resilient and do stick around.

My husband has a much higher libido than me and would ideally have sex everyday of the month if he could so having sex every other day hasn’t been an issue for him! I told him I was ovulating later this cycle and he was grinning as he knows it means I will want to have more !

Bringonbaby3 · 29/01/2022 05:54

@arianasky I’m now having the same issue with delayed ovulation post chemical! I’m day 15 and have been dtd every other day since day 7 and nothing! I only do opks once in the morning but I know when it’s happening as my boobs go hard and painful….they’re still small and soft currently!

Hoping it happens in the next few days? Got told recently that you are extra fertile after a loss so hoping those eggs are just taking their time to mature extra well Grin

RosyappleA · 28/01/2022 23:33

@Decaffe impressive schedule i think you are covered. When I got pregnant the last time i didn’t have sex anywhere near ovulation day. Like lakjupiter said the sperm live. Meanwhile i feel like a corpse whilst only doing the deed on three days of my so far 5 flashing smiley days 😂

I have run out of steam for when my static smiley finally decides to show up lol

TeddyBeans · 28/01/2022 23:14

Evening all hopping on the bus! 1DPO 1st cycle TTC #2 for me and #1 for my partner 😊 I was on the conception buses back in 2017 when I fell with DS

Decaffe · 28/01/2022 17:45
@Decaffe honestly I think you covered all bases. I'm a bit in a similar position. Assuming I ovulated the day I usually do (didn't track), we DTD O-5 and O-1. I found this thread here and as you can see, the old saying "it only takes one" is true.

I still feel we could have done better, but I don't think we're totally out. And you did a lot more than we did :)
Ooh thanks, I'll have a look at that thread.

We have ended up doing O-8, O-6, O-4, O-2 and morning of O. So only the latter three times in the 'window.'

We are worn out! Grin

Purple29 · 28/01/2022 15:48

Not sure if I'm just symptom spotting or imagining things... if the bleed I had was a period and I ov as normal after it, then I would be 7 dpo today. I've been getting twnige type pains in the right area, different from period pains but def noticeable!!!! So now wondering if its going to be AF getting back to normal or if it could be implantation? We only dtd once tho so I'm not hopeful!!!

Natalie2304 · 28/01/2022 15:08

@Bundaberg84 ooh I bet that's an interesting forum. I'll read that later on. Thanks.

@Brunette1989 you're very welcome lovely. That's what these are for! I'm glad you're feeling a bit more positive about it xxx

Brunette1989 · 28/01/2022 14:27

@Natalie2304 yeh he was really good to be fair to him as I know it must be embarrassing for him to think he's got to do it.
Yes fingers crossed it will work out that way but atleast I can try and feel like I'm getting somewhere.
Thanks for all your support it's helped my anxiety massively being able to talk to you and the other ladies ❤❤ xxx

Natalie2304 · 28/01/2022 14:05

@Brunette1989 I'm glad OH has agreed to get checked out though. That's an amazing start. And I know it seems for but 10th March isn't that far away and 🤞🏻 now you've booked it you'll not need it xx

arianasky · 28/01/2022 13:00

@ladybuggoldfinch ah same I had it in December 2020 and triple jabbed so hoping it won't catch me 🤞🏻 eee exciting

Brunette1989 · 28/01/2022 12:51

Afternoon ladies,
Hope you all are OK 😊
OH spoke to his doctors yesterday to look to get his test sorted so was feeling really positive that we could start getting somewhere.
Then when he's rang the clinic he needs to go to today they've said the earliest appointment they can do is 10th March. Just thought that would be the nice easy bit so feeling very disheartened today.
10 DPO, it really is the longest wait ever.
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend xxx

Bramblecrumble21 · 28/01/2022 12:24

Can I join? Af arrived today. I have one DD. She's due to start school in September. We only started trying this year in the hopes of maternity leave starting with school so convenient. First child we fell pregnant first try. Better book my annual leave the first few weeks of school.

Mariabombia · 28/01/2022 11:50

@arianasky oh no!! I think ladybuggoldfinch is right, it's so hard to avoid at the moment :( hopefully you won't have caught it though.

I'm thinking of testing the day before AF on Wednesday !! How about you?

@ladybuggoldfinch omg same. My boobs aren't hurting at all and they usually are by this point so don't know whether to take that as a good thing 🤣

You're good waiting until AF day!

ladybuggoldfinch · 28/01/2022 11:42

@arianasky I want to hold out till next Thursday if I can 🙏🙏🙏🙏

ladybuggoldfinch · 28/01/2022 11:41

@Mariabombia my period is due the same day! My boobs are a little sore and I've had some twinges but I am trying not to overthink it. I've convinced myself I was pregnant before and then lady flow arrives!

@arianasky I'm sure you will be ok. It's at the point where it is hard to avoid. This is my second covid, had it pre vaccine. Perks of being a key worker!
