Hi Everyone,

I thought I’d start a new thread for February following the January one.

About to start month 4 of TTC after a MC last month.

The months seem so long with a TWW thrown in but then I also can’t believe I’m about to start cycle 4! (I know that isn’t a long time for some of us and that makes me feel sad, TTC is so unfair at times)

Anyway, feel free to join if you’d like to get through February together! X

@DancinOnTheCeiling ah amazing! Congrats! Xx

mightbeyesmightbeno · 31/01/2022 20:49

@Decaffe yes agree! Give ALL the details @DancinOnTheCeiling ! Have you told. DH yet?

Decaffe · 31/01/2022 20:48

No @Bundaberg84 I don’t know if that’s the case, just wondering why, if you have a longer luteal phase, you have to wait longer to test with an FRER?

Decaffe · 31/01/2022 20:48

And you have had such a terrible time with your teeth and dicky tummy @DancinOnTheCeiling! I’m so pleased for you, what made you test today, how many DPO are you, what dates did you DTD, we need all the answers!!

mightbeyesmightbeno · 31/01/2022 20:48

Blimey @DancinOnTheCeiling ... that's an amazing line!

DancinOnTheCeiling · 31/01/2022 20:44

Thanks for confirming @Decaffe. My rational brain knows this but it feels like this isn’t my test, I can’t explain it.

Bundaberg84 · 31/01/2022 20:40

@Decaffe

I have a 15 day luteal phase, so in theory an FRER will work for me from 11dpo. But someone who has a 12 day luteal phase will be able to get a result on a FRER from 8dpo.

This is so unfair 😂 Does it mean I’m likely to have late implantation?

Really? So if you're having a short luteal phase you will also implant earlier? How is that possible, I thought implantation doesn't have anything to do with your luteal phase?
Decaffe · 31/01/2022 20:38

@DancinOnTheCeiling

Can someone confirm that I’m not seeing things? I know it is a very clear line but I am literally in shock. I cannot believe it!!!! I feel like this is someone else’s test. Omg
OMG you could see that from space!! 🥳

@ladybuggoldfinch I'm sorry you've been poorly too. It's so awful isn't it. I wish I was one of the people that didn't get symptoms!! I feel awful and can't even imagine trying to dtd right now!! Sad

@toddlertired sorry hear this. I've had 2 chemicals out of 3 months TTC this time round. This month is month 4. Both times it's just meant a later period for me but I've still had the same gap then between start of period and next ovulation. Hopefully no more chemicals for us!

Snowwhite2020 · 31/01/2022 19:23

Sorry for your loss @toddlertired xx

Troublesometooth · 31/01/2022 19:08

Pancake day is actually in March this year!

Although feel free to eat as many as you like during February to prepare for it!

Cookiedough123 · 31/01/2022 19:06

@Cmac1890 looks good. My test was like that last Thurs around 7pm and I had my peak on Friday around 1pm. Fingers crossed for you

toddlertired · 31/01/2022 19:01

thank you for this - it’s reassuring to know there’s a chance for this month :)

Cmac1890 · 31/01/2022 18:46

Hi all.

What's your thoughts on this opk. Done today. Came up dark right away. Never had that before usually always lighter and takes a few minutes.

Last period 15th Jan. Cycles been longer since had very early miscarriage in October.

Felt like ovulation due to tender boobs, veiny and more CM.

We've had sex last 5 days and he's back home again from work on Wednesday so I'm hoping we have timed it well.

The month of valentines, pancakes and lot’s of BFP’s! 🤞🏻❤️
oldermam · 31/01/2022 18:02

@ShinyEyes33

I read up on the upside down. Leg position today. It's a myth! But apparently having your hips elevated during sex can help! So that's tonight's mission 🙈😂

ShinyEyes33 · 31/01/2022 17:51

Hi everyone, I haven't been posting much, have just caught up with a few days worth of posts.
@mightbeyesmightbeno I'm glad you bought up the 'dribble' situation, I've wondered about that since TTC, didn't think that not having an 'O' could affect that. I don't usually, so maybe I'll have to get DH to try harder 😉😆
I've never taken a pregnancy test before, I just wait until AF arrives, which she always has done... Is there any benefit to doing a frer before AF is due? I know if I get a positive and it ends up being a chemical at least I would know we can "make" something, if you know what I mean..

oldermam · 31/01/2022 17:45

Sorry for your loss @toddlertired

Been a tough month for us. We did dtd over the weekend when I got my peak. But if we don't catch this month we are going to book a private fertility appointment to check there's no problems x

TeddyBeans · 31/01/2022 17:30

@toddlertired not me but my best friend had a chemical and she conceived her DS the next month. I don't remember exactly but I think her cycle only adjusted by a couple of days.

Sorry for your loss

lottieb92 · 31/01/2022 16:47

Hey everyone! I will fully catch up later, I’m on the cusp of my peak, and ovulation dates - so I’m adding me to the list.
I’m hoping to be 12DPO on V day, so going to test that morning - providing Ovulation isn’t later this cycle :)

hi! I was on the january thread and had a BFP but turned out to be a chemical - so back on the bus for February hopefully. Not entirely sure when AF due but sometime towards the end of the month. Anyone else had experience of a chemical? how did your cycle adjust afterwards?

Bringonbaby3 · 31/01/2022 13:58

Finally got my positive ovulation test today at CD17! Means I will push my testing date back :(
