So the 2WW begins! I know there are a few threads on here but wanted to start one with people that ovulated around the same time so hopefully we'll be getting some BFPs together!

@LittleMrsMama

Glad to hear you have a FRER ready to go *@AmberRH1993* , you have more self control than me waiting to test! I'm regretting testing so early no, my lines are still pretty faint so I feel like I'm limbo not being able to celebrate just yet but will feel really disappointed if It's not sticky.

Cheapie and FRER this morning at 12DPO. Can people see the lines too? Do they look ok for 12DPO? They seem a bit light to me. (Colour changed in the photo so you can see the lines clearer but they are pink in real life).

There it is! Congratulations @littlemrsmama

I think those lines are fine for 12dpo - congratulations are definitely in order!

@LittleMrsMama

Haha! I know how you feel *@AmberRH1993* - exactly how I'm feeling right now! I started seeing very very faint positives on cheapies from Thursday at 9DPO. I thought I was going crazy and was embarrassed to tell my husband but then yesterday I shared them with him and he could see the lines too and it was a huge relief. As you say, even if it's evap just knowing the lines aren't in our head is so helpful!

Maybe worth getting some FRERs for a few days time. Mine looked blank yesterday but I opened up the test (I know you're not supposed to!) and we could see a very faint line without the plastic panel but today it showed through the plastic panel so getting darker.

I hope your line darkens!

@littlemrsmama Yeah I have an frer in the drawer but want to save it for then my line is clearly visible as not to waste it too soon. OH needs a full line to believe anything so I'll monitor things on my cheapies for now. When are you planning on doing another frer?

@LittleMrsMama

Thanks *@Denguin* *@MrsSamRowley & *@AmberRH1993** just hope it's sticky!

@AmberRH1993 I think I see something... here? I know it's much harder to to take a photo of the tests, I hadn't appreciated that until I had some faint positives myself!

At this point, as long as someone else can see it.. I know I'm not losing the plot - evap or not 😂

Ooh congrats @LittleMrsMama!

Denguin · 22/01/2022 07:22

Definitely there @LittleMrsMama congratulations :)

AmberRH1993 · 22/01/2022 07:15

@littlemrsmama it's there all right! The line is fine.. Perhaps you ovulated a day later than you thought and it will be darker tomorrow 🎉 I think this is your bfp 🎉

LittleMrsMama · 22/01/2022 07:05

Good morning ladies! I did some more cheepie tests last night after a 4hour hold and had some very very faint positives thought I might be going mad.

Very faint line this morning on a FRER, so hard to photo because of the glare when it's in the light but otherwise the room is too dark so changed the contrast in the photo but the line is pink. Can anyone else see it? I'm 11DPO and thought maybe the line would be stronger?

OP posts:
LittleMrsMama · 21/01/2022 22:22

@MrsSamRowley yes I'd definitely agree still in the running for that BFP as it's early!

I'm excited for our first solid BFP in the group, hopefully we're not too far off. Hopefully they start coming in over the weekend :)

Just checked in Femometer (what would I do without it?!) and looks like mine is 11 days too so still a couple of days away from AF/BFP! Fingers/toes and everything crossed!

Denguin · 21/01/2022 13:59

Luteal phase changes on an individual basis. Some people have short luteal phases and others have longer. The average is 14 days. Mine is 10-11 days usually. You can work out your own by seeing over a few months when your period arrives after a positive opk. I hope that helps :)

MrsSamRowley · 21/01/2022 13:47

Maybe there's still hope for me then!

AmberRH1993 · 21/01/2022 13:38

@MrsSamRowley

Just been casually browsing my Femometer app and I ovulated on CD19 this month so that means I'm only on day 9 of the luteal phase so surely too early for AF or a positive test? Or am I clutching at straws? I'm on CD28 and normally my cycles are 27-29 days but as I only ovulated 9 days ago maybe this one is longer?? Who knows - this is all so confusing!
As far as I know, luteal phase will always be 14 days give or take a day either side. Hence why if you ovulate late, you should expect your AF late too. Once I input my ovulation day in my apps, it pushes AF due date back to exactly 14 days later.

BFN on the frer but AF isn't due until 28th so still very early.

AmberRH1993 · 21/01/2022 12:31

@LittleMrsMama I did my cheapy strip this morning and I'm sure there's a faint line again. My frers have arrived and been on a 3 hour hold so let see in a bit. I'm not holding out hope as it's still very early at 7/8dpo. What do you think...

Anyone else starting 2WW today?
Denguin · 21/01/2022 12:09

@LittleMrsMama yes, it’s really odd. I’ve ordered some more frer to come today as my other tests are not as sensitive so do not want the disappointment of a negative. The examples I have read where the same thing has happened to other people have led on to them having positives but I’m trying not to get my hopes up too much. I am on cd35, my cycles are usually 29-31 days. I’ve been having none of my usual af symptoms just very fatigued, heart burn and some on and off cramps but this could be nothing. It’s our fourth cycle of trying to conceive for the first time.

LittleMrsMama · 21/01/2022 11:24

@AmberRH1993 glad it's not just me that was confused. Absolutely no line when I did a contrast of this morning's tests :( any luck with yours?

@Denguin that is strange! Maybe you could try a 4hr hold and do the test again? I don't think generally the lines should fade away, I know people that have kept their pregnancy tests for years after using and the line is still there, but doesn't mean you're not pregnant, maybe just too early?

@MrsSamRowley absolutely not bad at all, AF coming is definitely cause for a glass of wine or two

@mrssamrowley Not bad at all. Sounds pretty understandable to me.
