Hey. I'm not sure of the point of this thread really but I suppose I just need to talk. I'm bang in the middle of the two week wait and I'm driving myself crazy! I don't know if I'm seeing symptoms that are all in my head, honestly this waiting is making me obsessed. Tell me I'm not alone! I can't really talk to anyone as no one knows we're trying, and my partner is the most laid back and patient person I know (total opposite of me!)
How are you guys in limbo doing?

Looks good @ERachD congrats! I think il get a digi today as took another and It's a blazer. Far clearer than any for my MC last month.

Guys I have to share this with you! I'm still a little doubtful so I'll do a digital a bit later in the week just so I have it in writing and I can start enjoying this a bit more.
You ladies have been such a massive support to me, thank you so much. This tww is absolute torture and you've made it all a little easier on me. I love this thread xx

I'm not 100% sure about testing on cycle days...but I know the early tests (like FRER) are usually around 6 days before your missed period...so 5 days before you're due? Does that work 🤔 It's one of those things I get when I'm doing it but working out the maths without doing the peeing is hard 🤣 xxx

My Ovia app says it’s 5 days until testing and I’m CD24. Do you think it’s still too early? I’ve never actually tested before my period was due because I didn’t think it would show. I feel a new obsession coming on lol

I've always bought a pack of cheapies like Tesco own brand alongside some clear blue 😅 spent a fortune, with my first I'm not exaggerating I done roughly 20 tests 😅 hindsight not sure why but felt I needed too at the time haha.
I have got my DH to order to first response tonight, not used them before but they seem to be the go to for before AF due, although I am going to try and hold out and test when / if I'm late. Xx

I've used all sorts, Clearblue, First Response and just cheap Tesco ones lol But I always seem to come back to Clearblue, suppose it's because that's what I got my BFP on first time round lol xxx

Congrats on the bfp @ERachD! That’s so exciting!!

I’m 8dpo now and just realised I should probably test. I was gonna have a drink tonight and then hubby asked me if I need to do a test! Not like him to be so on the ball. It was a bfn but it’s early days.
What tests do you all use? I’ve ordered some clear blue but they cost a fortune!

@lp50 ah congratulations!! That's really reassuring, it's so easy to get disheartened isn't it. But I can just feel it, i feel so different. I'm hoping for a much more obvious line tomorrow. How time drags in the tww!!

Just thought I would join if that's ok,

Don't get disheartened at a bfn early, I tested at 13 and 14 DPO on a first response and had a BFN but I just knew I was pregnant. My period was late and I tested two days after it was due and I got my BFP.

I seem to remember something about the extra progesterone causing similar symptoms after ovulation...but then because we're hyper aware we notice them maybe? Xxx

I'm getting weird light cramping and I'm only 4DPO. Or I'm looking out for it. I know it wouldn't be implantation so early so what is it Confused

I had covid 4 weeks ago and I still have symptoms long covid unfortunately so I’m worried that’s confusing me with symptoms. This weekend I need to keep myself busy to keep my mind playing games on me with every ache or twinge!

@Timetobeamummy congrats on the move and hubbys new job! I started this thread at 8dpo because I was driving myself insane haha, it's torture this waiting! I'm now on 13dpo and had an EXTREMELY faint line so I would say wait until the day AF is due to save yourself any extra unnecessary stress xx

Morning Ladies

Can I join? I think I’m 7/8 DPO today TTC baby #1 and our first cycle. We started last year but moved house and OH moved jobs so we felt like we would wait until 2022. Yesterday I felt exhausted and had terrible cramps today i feel fine. So maybe yesterday symptoms where just after a long week at work! God I had the wait. When is best to test?

@GPLady it's so hard not to obsess at this stage in a cycle, but I hope you can enjoy this part as much as possible. Just think in a couple of weeks we'll all know for sure!

Hi everyone, please can I join as well?

I'm a bit of a later one than you all - I'm only 5DPO - we're on our 3 cycle of TTC our second. Our first passed away unexpectedly a couple of weeks before he turned 10 months. That was 4 months ago, so a massive mix of emotions right now, especially as we fell for him on our first cycle!

I was super chilled when we were trying first time, I don't think I'd even heard of tests you could do 6 days early! This time round I'm trying ever so hard not to get obsessed!

Massive congrats one all the BFPs Smile xxx

@cheeseandbiscuitsplz apparently gum sensitivity is an indicator! It all sounds very promising. This two weeks is absolute torture isn't it!

Hey can I join! Looks like some lovely BFPs here 🥰 I am about 10 DPO, not feeling much although my boobs have had some tenderness and I've got back ache quite low down, could be unrelated though. My gums have started to become swollen, which is something I noticed in my previous pregnancies, but could be coincidence! Hard to not make it all fit 😅
Scared to test, feels like a long wait until AF. Is due which isn't until next week.
We are TTC number 2, I sadly had a late loss back in September 😔 good luck all xx

@YEN1 so many ladies don't experience any symptoms, you're definitely not out yet! And 11dpo is still very early for a positive. I read somewhere that on day 14 you're 11 times more likely to have a positive. Hold out for that day 14 and wishing you loads of luck x
