@winterfox78 thank you 🙏
wishing you all the luck xxx
i was using ovulation predictor test when we were trying naturally but I never got caught.
Started norethisterone Sunday and will take until Friday. Then wait for the bleed then arrange scan, then the injections start etc etc. egg retrieval booked in for 27 June and then within the week later blastocyst transfer all being well. First time going through ivf/icsi so learning fast.
How about you? X

winterfox78 · 08/06/2022 13:23

@Icamehere4love welcome ...I've been a long time lurker on here 😊
I'm 43, turning 44 in August trying for number 2.
Are you using OPK's?

JA42 · 06/06/2022 13:50

Welcome and Fingers crossed 🤞 for you. I am 42 next month and also ttc baby no 3. We have a 2 and a 4 year old. We have been trying for six months now and have a fertility assessment booked for next week so really hoping the results are good. We fell quite quickly with our other two so really hoping it happens soon 🤞

Unsure if this thread is still going?
im 44 first time ttc and ICSI to begin June time ( I think, will know more after planning call in the 11th may )
amh is 9.7 and fsh 6.8
partners sperm is slightly lower than normal but they said not a major concern, we’re getting retested too. That’s why we’re going with ICSI.
wishing everyone the best of luck.

hope to rest of your successes soon x

Thank you, I'm only cd8 atm so a bit longer to wait, no ovulation yet, hormones going crazy this month haha, good luck 🤞🏼 for a positive result for you, the waiting is def the worst part x

Here’s a link

I think I’m 4dpo, possible 3 or 5.
Not really any symptoms just a bit of creamy cm but likely that’s normal. Woke up with mild headache, could all just be normal progesterone things.
Never been pregnant so nothing to compare it to really.
Borrred of waiting.

DizzyM43 · 09/04/2022 11:47

Ooo will have a look x

Cally1980 · 09/04/2022 11:18

Sperm not speed

Cally1980 · 09/04/2022 11:18

The great speed race on YouTube is brilliant

82chick · 06/04/2022 19:29

@DizzyM43 have just read starts with the egg and am going to order some coq 10 to add to my normal pre conception vits. Good luck this cycle!

DizzyM43 · 06/04/2022 18:41

I'm taking supplements recommended by it starts with the egg for recurrent miscarriage, co q 10 etc, Ive just started my new cycle so will be testing soon, I use the cheap one step ovulation sticks and also Flo to track though I seem to ovulate quite early in my cycle, hoping it happens soon and sticks 😊

82chick · 06/04/2022 16:42

I'm also using Flo, haven't been doing any ovulation tests yet. Which ones do people use? Frustratingly husband is away for work during ovulation this month (according to app) so will have to wait until next month.

Which supplements are you ladies taking?

littlegingerone · 06/04/2022 14:27

I have been using the flo app and ovulation tests and tracking my temperature for the last few months now and I seem to ovulate when the app predicts I will do. You add your temperatures into the app and ovulation test results and it learns from your data and your cycles Smile

oxfordinwinter85 · 05/04/2022 11:26

@littlegingerone sorry that was meant for you 😊

oxfordinwinter85 · 05/04/2022 11:25

So good so many different stories..but all trying for the same thing

@Orangutanteddy can I ask how you know you ovulation on day 15?

Thanks

82chick · 04/04/2022 13:18

Hello ladies
Please can I join?
TTC baby two, after a bit of a gap, and looking for some company to get through it.

littlegingerone · 04/04/2022 10:04

I'm still here, we haven't actively tried the last few months as it would have clashed with our wedding but from this month it's all systems go now. I will be ovulating around the 15th so will use ovulation tests and temperature leading up, my cycle is 27 days like clockwork

Cally1980 · 04/04/2022 08:03

Hi all, updated this is 2nd cycle TTC, 41yrs never tried before. Partner 7 months post vasectomy reversal, no kids either. Currently CD14 or a 29day cycle. BD yesterday, today, tomorrow etc etc haha!
Hopefully ovulating having LH spike today or tomorrow.
We haven’t had sperm tested- happening end of month so no idea if either of us is fertile so just in ‘experimental’ phase atm.
I’ll be testing in around 14 days officially but no double will cave 7DPO and test like mad from then!

Orangutanteddy · 03/04/2022 14:37

@DizzyM43 no I haven't. I probably should. I feel a bit defeated by everything. I'm lucky in that my child has lots of friends and doesn't pine for a sibling. I just never thought I'd only have one, if that makes sense? I always pictured myself with a couple.

Equimum · 03/04/2022 14:34

So, we got the results of all our fertility tests this week. It would seem that I have a strong egg reserve for my age, am definitely ovulating and have better than expected hormone levels for my age (40). DH has no unexpected fragmentation, and his other sperm analysis was all good. As great as this sounds, we had three wary miscarriages in a row last year and all the dr could say was that if we keep trying l, hopefully we'll eventually get a healthy egg. She has prescribed progesterone, to start 49 hours after ovulation, but has said that she equally believes that rather than rejecting unhealthy pregnancies straight away, by body takes a while to detect them, and consequently, it is likely I'll continue to conceive easily but potentially miscarry. Her only advice really was that we pay for early scans and get them done weekly so that we know straight away what is going on.

DH thinks it's worth keeping going. I feel quite down about it (even though it is what I expected). I lost a lot of blood with two of the miscarriages, need surgery with one and ended up needing iron after all three. I also found it really hard to pick up mentally each time. I really want another baby, but I just fee a bit torn at the moment.
