Oh NJ that is sooo sweet! Makes up for all the sleepless nights/tantrums/wingeing doesn't it
Agreed to do a talk for work next October, and found myself calculating how pregnant I would be!! A good chance I'll still be ttc though (not sure what effect my age will have this time. With dd1 (surprise, on mini-pill taken 2 hours late!), dd2 first month, dd3 5 months, so not baaad, but I've certainly noticed my cycles going crazy since my mid-30s!!If ttc before, how long did it take others to get BFP (nosey again!)??
GEORDIE, love 'Milo'. I also like Felix for a boy, but dh is firm on that one (not a chance..)BEMY and PLAYING, it's great having friends with babies, esp in summertime ..antenatal groups were great for that I remember - I still see a few of them now, although going back to work does sort of get in the way! It's true what they say though, people will always talk to you if you have a baby or animal with you!
Right, my fave tv is on , Holby City and then Mistresses!

Yes, bring on the summer We haven't had a BBQ since 2006, normally we are out every weekend having one, but last year between the crap weather and the stupid hours DH was doing, we didn't get chance. We didn't even make it to Blackpool for the day!

DS2 has just, for the first time ever, really looked up at me, pouted his lips and gave me a big proper kiss He has been giving us kisses if we put our mouth near his before, but this was one he totally thought about on his own Awwww It has made my day

I have never had any friends pregnant at the same time as me, I seem to start it off, I get pregnant have baby, then they all get pregnant, I get pregnant again have the baby, then they all got pregnant, I wonder if they all want a third?!!

I would quite like lots of friends with babies, be nice when I have mine. However, might end up making friends with the households in our road (5 of which have babies) so I might have lots of friends with babies . Early days yet, only been in our house for 2 months, but I can see us all getting along well, bring on the summer and the bbq's. It nearly BBQ season already, only another month or so to go, Barbie always comes out in March!! Sorry, always get really excited about spring/summer

BeMyLilBaby · 29/01/2008 17:25

Aw playiong i bet you'l love it

Ive found being around holly (my goddaughter) has been really gd for getting a practical idea, and her mum, kirsty is so relaxed she makes it all seem so easy, ive worked out tht when we have our, hol's will just over one, and kirsty might be considering number two, my friend tash also is due may so ill have plenty of friends who are in a similar situation to meet up with which i think helps alot, just cant WAIT! xx

Playingthewaitinggame · 29/01/2008 17:19

Luckily I dont have any close friends with babies, that must make it harder. Although I know two couples who would love to have kids, are happily married (well one lot have been happily married for the grand total of 2 days) but just like us cant afford it right now. Get the feeling the couple that just got married might go for it sooner rather than later though.

Still at least you do get to regularly play with one and get to be a god mother which is a real honour.

I have been invited round to a neighbour hood tea party on Sunday and as most people in our road have babies that sound be fun!!

BeMyLilBaby · 29/01/2008 17:04

he he it is indeed! im sorta glad AF is still about, cant wait for end of march!!! so of my friend with our goddaughter, she's so happy x

Playingthewaitinggame · 29/01/2008 16:58

We're all doing stupid things here! Its so hard to fight your natural instincts and wait, I think it makes women crazy. Till I cam on here I thought it was just me, now I am convinced it is an epidemic!

NatalieJane · 29/01/2008 16:49

BB, sorry about AF, explains the crying thing though! I think they say after a MC your AF's can be all over the place, and it can take a good 6 months, maybe longer, to get back under some sort of control.

I nipped into Marks and Spencers whilst in town, just to look at the baby stuff! I am so glad it isn't just me doing stupid things!!

BeMyLilBaby · 29/01/2008 16:44

he he.. ive just been too the loo and you know my AF was missing in action... now it looks like its made an appearance... which is like 2 weeks late... how very odd!!

I was looking at some lovely baby bits online today, they are so cute, and im so sad

I would seriously concoct some intimate story teuch and say you think a rabbits preggers and your gonna do a test... or perhaps pay a local youth to buy you one he he x

NatalieJane · 29/01/2008 16:31

Well, it has to be kept right No I'm kidding, look at all the fuck ups I've made on it!!!

PMSL at 'pretend it is for one of the animals'

Playingthewaitinggame · 29/01/2008 16:24

BB - well we can all be wrecks together!!

BeMyLilBaby · 29/01/2008 16:20

NJ i am an amateur list maker i wont change it again i promise he he

Teuch, is there no way you can bribe someone to buy you one, or pretend its for one of your animals??? i cldnt stand the wait!!

Playing you are most definately right, just lately the slightest things have been reducing me to tears.... the song "home" by west life, the songn "sunscreen" happy stories sad stories... Im a wreck! x

Playingthewaitinggame · 29/01/2008 16:18

BB, end of March - OMG, it keeps getting sooner!!!!! Not sure I'll make it till Sept but still trying to if I can .

Playingthewaitinggame · 29/01/2008 16:06

BB - I know what you mean. Got so broody over weekend. Dont know why but there is something about weddings that make you want to have a family even more. I dont know, it just makes you get all romantic and emotional.

Teuch - I hate ebay too, but its even harder when your waiting for something you really want.

NatalieJane · 29/01/2008 15:56

eBay even!

NatalieJane · 29/01/2008 15:55

Awww I don't know what to suggest, I can send you some tests if it will get there any quicker than the eBayer ones.

Teuch · 29/01/2008 15:54

just very slightly pissed off - my head is so filled with what-if's that I am totally distracted and DH is getting grumpy with me...
