LG&T, you are going to need a farm to keep the kids in Line them up in the stables, and the cow shed, and the pig sty, I bet they'd love it as well!!!

I want one of the proper pink, curly tailed, oink oinking variety of pigs!! I love their ears

Teuch · 28/01/2008 15:53

aw thanks...truth is I feel very pre-menstrual with tiredness tacked on. Been feeling bit sicky but I can't decide if that is just nerves at thinking about AF being late .

Everything just feels right...physically, timing-wise (silly superstitions) and I can't help feeling that I am jinxing it by even letting myself get to the point I might believe I am

IYSWIM??!!

NatalieJane · 28/01/2008 15:51

TBH, I don't remember the first time DS1 said love you.... just sort of happened I guess! Though I do remember the first time he said Mama, I can't explain how it makes you feel, but it certainly made the first months of (almsot) utter hell well worth it!

DS2 is at a great age at the moment, nearly 14 months, everything he does every day is something new, he has started saying 'ta' over the weekend, and he will pick up anything that even slightly resembles a phone and say 'ello, or 'iya (hello or hiya!) he has a thing about taking his socks off (has done for as long as I can remember) but now when he takes them off, if you say where's your socks, he runs off and gets them Too blardy cute for his own good!

I heart symptoms

Diege · 28/01/2008 15:21

Yes, good try . So, are there any SYMPTOMS that we can help you with?

NatalieJane · 28/01/2008 15:15

Talk about change of subject, you don't get off that lightly missus! Can your DH not bring one home with him?

Teuch · 28/01/2008 15:14

No reply - and I reckon she'll be off on the next ferry so just have to hold out 'til tomorrow ...

Serves me right for saying I liked the 'limbo' time!!!

Anyway, welcome LargeGin&Tonic!! Good luck with your ttc, although you clearly have lots of practice I'm impressed, even if part of me wonders whether we should be trying to talk some sense into you...

Just jesting!

NatalieJane · 28/01/2008 15:14

It was Diege that did it

(I am wayyyyyyyyy too nice to be a bully!)

Diege · 28/01/2008 15:01

. Ring her back in 10 minutes if she doesn't get back to you. Tell her we made you do it

Teuch · 28/01/2008 14:46

have left message...

bullies

NatalieJane · 28/01/2008 14:40

Now!!!!!!!!

Teuch · 28/01/2008 14:39

I can't...I'm manky, can't go to village like this, plus 'people' will spot me and I don't want speculation...

But I would feel silly if I made her come out here for nothing...

Diege · 28/01/2008 14:38

Yes, ring!!!

NatalieJane · 28/01/2008 14:33

It's not too late, ring her now!!

Teuch · 28/01/2008 14:32

Aw, I'm gutted ...HPT's didn't arrive and I have bottled out of phoning HV...

Will wait 'til tomorrow. Off to complain to ebay...

NatalieJane · 28/01/2008 13:23

Grammer makes way for thoughts of babies

Well, the first months with DS1 were just nightmarish, I was absolutely exhausted, he BF every hour, on the hour, for half an hour, I had no family or friends near by for adivce/support/both, me and DH spent the whole time snapping at each other through sheer exhaustion. But after the first couple of months, I managed to calm down a bit, things started to feel a bit more normal, on the HV's advice I gave him a formula top up, that led to him being sick everytime I BF him so he went on to formula (my only regret!) but it did mean I got some very much needed sleep, it was summer and warm and we went out for walks and stuff it got better!

DS2's first few months were absolutely fantastic, I felt great, he was BF perfectly, DS1 fell so completely head over heels in love with the baby, it was so fantastic to watch.

This really isn't helping the broodyness either y'know!

BeMyLilBaby · 28/01/2008 13:10

Lol not quite on either front!! our friend is giving us there sofa so thats nice, and not quite next month but prob april

Gin you are a soldier,7!!do tell..i'd love to hear about those of you's ( i dont seem to be able to do grammar today)who have DC experiences of the first few months

xx

NatalieJane · 28/01/2008 12:50

OMG did he paint the sofa, is it an insurance claim?!!!

Next month??!!!!!!

It is getting so exciting on here now, doesn't help with the broodyness though!

Diege · 28/01/2008 12:45

Hi BB! Ooh yes tell us more about dates...so next month then .
GIN: no.7, excellent!!! Makes me feel better about no.4 . You will be a great net buddy to help out with all the comments etc!! Seriously, I think big families are wonderful, good on you .

BeMyLilBaby · 28/01/2008 12:41

well jus re TTC dates, it is looking like it may be moved forward which has thrilled me!

WE tried to work together on DIy, this wasw a bad idea!!on the upside we should be a getting a new sofa for free tho xx

NatalieJane · 28/01/2008 12:20

Hiya BB, wondered where you were! DIY takes my DH away and swops him for the most moodiest bugger you've ever met, I'm not even allowed to talk to him when he is concentrating painting, with a roller! DS1 (who is 5) does a better job of it as well!!!

What's these discusions?
