Anyone due to get BFP/AF at Xmas?

The pressure is on... in the TWW and AF is due right around Xmas. Spending the holidays with my in laws, and both wanting to drink through the holidays/not drink as in the TWW. I’m also dreading a little bit of feeling down if I get AF right at Xmas. If anyone is looking for a TWW companion/obsessor here I am ☺️. Good luck, and hope you all get your Xmas present 🎁 BFP from Santa 🎅🏻. Xx

I think I’m the same re holidays. 3rd cycle here, first I had horrible pill come down symptoms, 2nd one some cramping but largely symptom free... not sure if it’s bc this one is Xmas, but I’m symptom spotting like crazy. I’m dpo 4/5 and have had a ton of back and af type abdominal cramps, I am so cold I had my hands jammed literally into my car heater earlier, I have horrendous heartburn (no changes to diet and I’ve only ever had it when 3rd trimester pregnant). I think I’m convincing muself I’m pregnant as I tried everything this cycle (coq10, epo and pre natal supplements), pre seed and a period cup after fw dtd to keep those swimmers in for the night. I was really sick during the fw so I should set my expectations that I’m likely not pregnant and it’s just progesterone, but I’m clearly insane 😂. Good luck for this cycle!

Hi ladies, I’m new here Smile although have been TTC for 10 months now. Had an early m/c in March and nothing since. AF is due on Christmas Day so trying to patiently wait and see what happens. How are you all getting on? The TWW is such a difficult time, but I’m finding it harder than usual in the run up to Christmas, I feel like I just can’t relax and enjoy anything until I know Confused

@Loukate29 I can't see the control line on that test either, are you sure you dipped it for long enough?

Yes :( I tested last night and had two lines. Three more tests negative! So sad!! X

Yup due Christmas Eve, cycle 10. Hard to imagine this one will end any differently than the last but I know I'll be extra devastated anyway. It's so hard!

I'm due on the 25th - this could be the best or worst Christmas present Mother Nature gifts me. Cycle #6 hoping this is the one 🤞🤞

Me! 🙋🏻‍♀️ I'm due sometime between 20th and 23rd. But after 26 cycles I am fully expecting to be able to drink over xmas and have not put my hand forward to be designated driver just yet 😂

Me too! I think I'm due around 23rd/24th though my cycle was 5 days longer last month so could be a few days later than that. Already feeling a lot of pressure in the tww and dreading testing so close to Xmas. At least we can drown our sorrows if it's bad news, but fingers crossed bfps for us all!

@Janey3090 I think my AF is due the 23rd too, but that's with a 10 day luteal which might be longer so it could be a xmas AF. Like @cocoforbes and @Frida9I am hoping it comes earlier so that I can enjoy myself and not symptom spot/drive myself crazy, but my body does what it wants it seems. Hoping we all get BFPs, or an early release to enjoy xmas! For some reason I am definitely symptom spotting this month, managed not to last month, guessing it is because of the xmas effect... I'm also visiting a friend on my way back from the in laws who has been unsuccessfully TTC for years, so it wouldn't be a bad thing if it were negative, I think I would feel really guilty as she knows we just started trying recently. They also drink a lot of wine and have good stuff :)

Same here! I also hope AF comes a bit early as eventhough I will probably test from 8dpo (I know it's too early but I can't help myself 🤦‍♀️) you can't be sure until she comes and I would like to have a couple of drinks and not worry.

I'm also spending Xmas with extended family so don't want to have any awkward conversations. Though at this point I am thinking of just telling people. I know it's taboo but I'm not sure why really.

This is me, af due on Christmas day. If af does come I hope it's a day or two early so i don't have to awkwardly explain to the in laws and their friends why I'm not drinking. Much easier with my own parents who don't drinkXmas Wink

Yep this is me! Due around the 23rd, and with AF normally lasting about 5 days it will take me right over Christmas. Currently 5DPO and praying I get my BFP after a year of trying! Don't want to be tearful over my turkey dinner Xmas Blush

Yeah I think I will be in this boat. I had a tfmr last month and no period yet, I have no idea when it will come but I expect somewhere around Christmas time. I would love to be pregnant again but I’m not in the right headspace for OPKs and cycle tracking so I’m just trying to not think about it. I’m hoping Christmas will distract me a bit!

I’m due before Christmas (19th at the latest), but I’ve been late before and didn’t get a BFP, so it’s possible I will have to wait until Christmas for AF or to test. 😬

I’ll keep my fingera croased for you!!

@madeleine85 YES!!!! I am due AF on 25th! This is cycle number 8 so I’m really really hoping it happens soon. I’m sure there will be a bit of chatter around Christmas about babies etc too… kinda already dreading that as our families don’t know we are trying. We can keep each other company xx
