TTC DECEMBER 2021 🎅🏼

Absolutely no symptoms together, I don't feel anything is differently. Strangely for the last two cycles I've had what you would absolutely think were ovulation pains; sharp enough to make me catch my breath! But not even that this month. So I just have a feeling I'm out this month.

Have to say, DH is looking forward to next cycle's fertile week as it's essentially the week between Christmas and New Year, hopefully we won't be tired and will be nice and relaxed!

Thank you, I think I’ll test again later with another cheapie just to be sure and then use a better test! Up until today I’ve had BFN, I think (if this is defo positive) I implanted on Friday as I had cramps and some light discharge/spotting (TMI!) and then nothing, so don’t lose hope just yet xxx

@Decaffe 10dpo is very early and many go on to get BFP. Are you feeling symptoms?
I'm 10dpo today also. Trying sooo hard not to read into symptoms but I had light cramping the last few days. I'm constipated (sorry tmi) and very bloated. AF due any day from tomorrow. I've vowed not to test till Thursday if AF hasn't arrived by then....

@Sjmc16 congratulations that looks like a positive to me. Can you pop out and get a better test? 14dpo you should get a stronger line with a better test. That's what I'd do!

Hi all, thank you all for this thread, I’ve been lurking and it keep me sane.
I’m 14 DPO give or take and have had a number of symptoms the past week, cramps, vivid dreams, and just feeling like something was different! I tested early and nothing but tested with a cheapie this morning and thiiiiiink this is positive? I’m trying to just stay calm and test tomorrow morning with a first response, but if anyone who’s used these strips and got a positive let me know what they think that would be amazing! It’s going to be a LONG day! Xxx

@newjourney21 awwwww I feel you. I came off the pill in September and got my first period in November. I had terrible, pregnancy like symptoms when I stopped taking it and really thought I was pregnant. I continually got BFN and was confused as no period. I did start using ovulAtion sticks, just the cheapie ones and they helped massively as made things a bit clearer for me.

Everyone is so different though and some people fall pregnant straight away so don’t lose hope. Unfortunately my periods still seem pretty irregular for now. I guess this is my second month trying after my first period but I seem to be ovulating just now again. Ovulating on CD30 ish so things are obviously all still a bit all over the place.

I don’t think you ovulate right after you go off the pill, it takes a couple of months for the body to get back on track.
I suggest making an appointment with your gyno to check everything is alright, I know hormones can go cray.
I’ve been through it.
I also know that you might release more than one egg per month when you start ovulating again after you stop the pill 😁

@newjourney21 there is nothing worse than not really knowing when your due 😩 hopfully you will get a BFP in a day or 2. 🤞🤞

@alexalexalex18 there usually wouldn't be but because I had some heavy spotting after the bfp it could be a chemical pregnancy (horrible term, basically an early mc) so the early pregnancy tell you to wait 2 weeks and test again. That gives hormones time to settle if it has been that, or if its just spotting (also common in early pregnancy) it would still come back positive. So it's like another TWW!!!

@Cmacq32 not 100% sure. Flo app predicted Cd28, but my first month off the pill so I know that it might take a bit longer. I've been having cramps on and off for a week now so keep thinking it's AF then nothing! I had EWCM CD14 so assuming I ovulated after this I would've thought I'd get a BFP by now so ruling myself out this month

@newjourney21 what day is AF due usually?

I'm CD30, no sign of AF but having AF like symptoms (cramping mainly) tested yesterday and today and BFN. I have been so bloated all weekend which is strange for me but still nothing.

Just want AF to turn up now to put me out of my misery so I can start again!

Fingers crossed!! I didn’t even think there’s doubts after a bfp :))

Well its been a week since I got my first bfp, and I have stopped spotting so i thought I'd test again. I know the early pregnancy unit told me to wait 2 weeks but it was torture.
Still got 2 lovely lines, so fingers crossed it stays!!!!
I'll use the expensive test next week again. I'm really hoping it was implantation.

Ah I see from previous posts these are good ones. I have only ever used cheapie from asda 😂

How did I know? Well I had cramping 8&9dpo with each preganancy (only spotted with 1) headache, stuffy nose and fatigue. I think when you know your own body, you just know! There's a reason women keep testing even when you get a BFN, that's because you know something doesn't feel right. For me the fatigue is So bad, it's obvious!

I just have this first response one but I might get some cheap ones from Boots today.

@alexalexalex18 with all 3 pregnancies I knew I was pregnant around 11dpo but I got a BFN on day, 11, 12, 13 and got the BFP on day 14. I'm going to hold out and see if AF arrives instead this time!
