@keepingmyfingerscrossef omg this was me two cycles ago! Was totally convinced I must be only for it to be BFN! Sucks. Likewise - I'll keep you posted too. Good luck xxx

keepingmyfingerscrossef · 02/12/2021 22:34

@ttcbabya I will pray for you 😊 now testing makes me so nervous! I don't even feel like testing anymore to be honest. I feel if I get my periods, no need for testing. Previously, I had all the symptoms and what I thought was an implantation bleed! I was so so sure that I am pregnant but it was a negative. So I am kind of just moving with the flow now. Waiting patiently. I'll keep in touch and let you know what happens for me next week Grin

ttcbabya · 02/12/2021 22:26

@keepingmyfingerscrossef I think now i won't test until my AF due so around Monday/ Tuesday is when I'll test again. So nervous as im sick and tired of seeing the BFNs

ttcbabya · 02/12/2021 22:24

@keepingmyfingerscrossef I know - I can't believe just how similar our journeys are. Really hope we get that BFP and healthy 9 months soon, literally crossing everything for it xxx

Symptoms-wise, not really other than mild cramping a few days which I was hoping would be implantation cramping. Other than that, no symptoms 😣 I did use preseed for the first time this cycle so really hoping that that helps!

keepingmyfingerscrossef · 02/12/2021 21:55

@ttcbabya sorry I mean- I would love to know how you feeling and when are you testing Smile

keepingmyfingerscrossef · 02/12/2021 21:45

@ttcbabya oh! My at is due around the same time!!! I really want to see how it goes this time as have been having issues past two three months! Irregular and not much flow. Past two months- it was mainly pinkish and watery.. especially last month! Do you have any symptoms? I do feel mild headache, extreme bloating and sore boobs.. but you what? Am actually convinced that it's all my hormones and stomach related issue. So am not giving much attention to it.. would love to you how you feeling and then are you testing Smile

keepingmyfingerscrossef · 02/12/2021 21:41
@keepingmyfingerscrossef I can totally relate - I've been getting BFNs since August as well! I was tempted to test today (10 dpo) and ofc, BFN. I was on antibiotics for h pylori too in May I believe as I was having issues with my stomach too. I totally understand the feeling. I really do hope it does happen for us one day xx
Aww!! Glad to know there's someone with a similar story SmileI will pray that we both get better in terms of this stomach thing and get our positives soon. Please keep me posted when you test! Do you have any symptoms by the way?

keepingmyfingerscrossef · 02/12/2021 21:39

@Babyboom1990

Hi everyone I just wanted to jump on I really hope you don’t mind!

Period is due on Tuesday and got this positive test this morning at about half 10 second urine of the day, then I took another a few hours later and completely negative.

Does the bfp look like an evaporation line 😫😫 last month I had a chemical so I’m praying so hard for a positive!!! Baby dust to you all šŸ„°ā¤ļø

I would not trust the one that looks positive hun. Sorry :( just from my personal experiences, I have had the same things a couple of times with clear blue. When it was actually negative. Some people do say getting a pink dye test is always better. May be that's true. But my friend had her bfp on clear blue and a lot of other women I know.

Try using a pink dye test if your period is late.. keeping my fingers crossed for you Smile

ttcbabya · 02/12/2021 21:26
@ttcbabya 10 dpo could be early? Wait for a few days. When is your at due?
I'm due between 6th - 8th. So yes, still quite early. It was an FRER and was hoping to be one of those lucky ladies who get theirs early. I think I'll just wait to see AF arrives now...

@Babyboom1990 sorry about your chemical last month. I hope this is your BFP. I would not trust the first for now, only because you have had a 2nd negative. But I would definetly give it another 2 days and test again. Good luck xx

@ttcbabya 10 dpo could be early? Wait for a few days. When is your at due?

keepingmyfingerscrossef · 02/12/2021 20:18

@ttcbabya hi hun, am thinking I will wait until my at arrives! I have a feeling an not pregnant, although have been having some symptoms! I have been getting negatives since august now. :( funny thing is, my stomach problem has been giving me pregnancy like symptoms too. Have had hcg blood tests past Theo three regularly and all negatives!! Sometimes I feel like it's not going to be easy for me..

keepingmyfingerscrossef · 02/12/2021 20:14

@htay21 I have been having issues with my periods past two three months now! My doc isn't concerned at all. It all started with a stomach issue in July end. Past two months my periods are short, pink/red watery with no clots and either early or late (within a weeks range though). So I have no clue what's going on with my body! Trust me, I have had all the pregnancy symptoms but that was because of h pylori! It took 2-3 since July to detect this because I was on omeprazole and it hides the bacteria when you are taking it. Lol

Anyway, I spoke with my gp and she ran some tests- harmonies and beta hcg and all as I said my periods were very short and pinkish. Hcg came back negative! She said, it could be stress, stomach issue, hormones acting up! So track my ovulation, I bought some cheapies in Nov just around when I was supposed to ovulate (22nd Nov- Monday). I tested on Sunday (bought it on Saturday evening) and it's been faint ever since.. am in my tww period right now and my at is due in 4 days. I do have twinges here and there, mild headaches, heartburn, on and off sore boobs but am trying hard not to symptom spot. I am convincing myself that it's all my stomach issue and it could be! This is honestly driving me crazy!!

Congratulations on losing weight! 😊 am trying to focus on the positives and asking my gp for a gyneac check referral. My stomach issue (other than h pylori) could be linked to gyneac issue as well? Who knows?

ttcbabya · 02/12/2021 20:06

@keepingmyfingerscrossed

Hi all, my first post ever! 😊

I am kind of new to this tycoon journey. We were casually trying since March and only recently got serious about it. But I have been having some stomach issues since July. And that is when I had a chemical too. I never knew I was pregnant. Anyway, for the first time I got a pack of opls and decided to track my ovulation after my periods. Flo app tells me I should have ovulated on the 22nd (Monday) of Nov but I did have a pinkish bleed on the 18th morning (Thursday). I was also suffering from thrush at that time (was on antibiotics for h pylori). So not sure if thrush could cause pinkish bleed? My gp wasn't concerned and prescribed gel for it. It settled down in next couple of days.

My confusion is- I started testing for my ovulation on the 21st (Sunday) and had a faint line.. which got fainter with time. Is it possible I missed the window for Nov? My af is due in 5 days. I do have on-off sore boobs which I never get before my periods. However, am trying not to symptom spot.

It seems we ovulated on the same day! When do you plan on testing??
newjourney21 · 02/12/2021 18:26

@gvs97 oh really, that's good to hear. ahhh I'm so nervous! Yes I will be testing next week, just thought 5DPO was so early to be getting any symptoms.

gvs97 · 02/12/2021 18:20

@newjourney21 I had all that when pregnant. Test when you’re due AF. Good luck!

ttcbabya · 02/12/2021 17:40

I've been having some cramping (not as intense as AF), thought it could be implantation cramping. However I did a test today, and BFN šŸ‘ŽšŸ¾
I'm 10dpo btw

newjourney21 · 02/12/2021 15:32

I've been having AF like symptoms for 3 days now.....cramping, headache, tiredness yet AF not due for at least another 8 days. Has anyone with a bfp experienced this? Really hoping it means something positive and not just my body acting strange first month off the pill! I'm supposedly 5DPO.

htay21 · 02/12/2021 14:05

Hi All,

Cycle 2 for #1. I'm new to TTC however have been tracking my cycles religiously for 5 years (no hormonal birth control in that time) and I strongly suspect I have low progesterone for a couple of reasons -

 • I have a short lutheal phase, usually 8-9 days
 • for 2/3 days before period 'flow' I have spotting
 • my cycles used to average 33+ days (although are now between 28-30, but with spotting)
 • My 'peak' OPK this month was only 0.76 (although that was 11pm at night so could have peaked more during the night.

I do have a very high BMI which I know will be impacting this, I've lost 3 1/2 stone so far this year leading up to TTC, however do need to continue losing significantly.

Just wondered if anyone has had similar symptoms and had successful pregnancies? Anything else you'd recommend to boost progesterone or increase lutheal phase?

Thanks in advance ā˜ŗļø

Hi, I never got on well with those ovulation strips so switched to the digital ones which I find much clearer and reliable, as they match my app and physiologically too
