TTC December thread

First month ttc ovulated the 4th of December had cramps on the 13th which I assumed could of been implantation my areola have doubled in size been bloated and apitite decreased also nausea

Then came on last night and it's pinkish feels same pressure as period hopefully it stops tomorrow then can still be hopefull of not bring on round two of trying haha

@Theresamagicalplace definitely a BFP! Congrats!!

BFN this morning for me, but it's still a bit early really for testing so holding out hope. I keep getting twinges that I can't decide if it's mild cramps or tightness. I did have the most vivid dream last night though, which I never do, but did early on with DS.

The whole house has a stinking cold, I still have to go to work and my other half is about 19 seconds away from putting on the dressing gown of doom and declaring himself almost dead. So naturally I decided to make myself feel worse by doing a test and seeing barely any progression..... except that's not what happened

My tiredness is ridiculous, I went to bed at 5pm. Only awake now because I need to pick OH up from a wake. Otherwise I'd still be sleeping. Not good when Sunday night I'm back at work and have a 13 hour night shift to get through 🙈

my bbt dropped a lot this morning which it normally does the day before af . I’m either 8-9dpo tho I thought so that would be a bit early so trying to convince myself it might be an implantation dip, or perhaps I ovulated earlier. If it’s low again tomorrow I’m def out otherwise I’ll take a test on Monday. At least will know before Xmas

@Theresamagicalplace sorry you’re still in limbo if AF hadn’t turned up early I probably would have taken another test, you’re not out till AF turns up 🙂

I need to stop testing for a few days 🤦‍♀️ properly put myself on a downer today as I've got af style cramps and the test I took today hadn't progressed although after it dried it looked a lot darker (don't think that counts though does it?), Can see it in real life but it won't pick up on camera now so I'm convinced its going to be a chemical 🙃

@mightbeyesmightbeno hopefully next month is our month, are we carrying on this thread or is another one being made? Xx

@melbxldn that's more what I mean, I don't think it's anything like I'm not ovulating or anything but when you're doing everything you can and still not getting there my wind just wanders off to the scenarios like that xx

@Shabz22 it's annoying isn't it?! Both tww I've been symptom spotting and trying to remember if this is how it went last time but find I just don't know! Even though each pregnancy is supposed to be different anyway xx

@Shabz22 about the short cycles I’m always 29 days I always make a note on the health app on my iPhone I had one 27 day cycle which was my first period after it came back from breast feeding. I’ve not been on the pill. I can’t find any evidence on google but I do think ttc can affect your cycle length. What if conception happened but not implantation. But from what I can find online if that was the case I should have got an early positive and then a late period. I hope I don’t sound like I’m obsessing but I do think ttc can cause your cycles to change by a few days and it’s often dismissed as oh it’s because your tracking now and previously you mustn’t of noticed

My next ovulation window falls right over when I’ve got the in laws visiting for Xmas! Going to have to suggest they go for a walk or to the supermarket lol

@kizzy97 so sorry to hear. I understand what you mean about not remembering, both my children were unplanned, my second it didn't even cross my mind as a possibility because I'd been really poorly and I assumed it had messed with my cycle, so nothing sticks out to me. The only planned pregnancy was my MC in June but I feel like the trauma has completely blocked that out too. It's sort of like I have no idea what I'm doing or what I'm looking for, just winging it!

It's strange lots seem to be having short cycles, I had a 23 day cycle last month, I was expecting it as I track ovulation and knew my LP was 12 days, so when I ov'd on day 11 I knew it was coming, but I wonder why that's happening to so many recently 🤷‍♀️

@kizzy97 oh I’m sorry! Opks won’t confirm you actually ovulate but they are better than apps about what day you prob do. When I started using them I found out I ov a few days after the apps said. I also take my BBT (which does confirm ovulation) and learnt I ov 2 days after my positive not the same day or day after so I was missing the key day!!

@melbxldn @mightbeyesmightbeno well definitely af for me, woke up to a full flow this morning ☹️ it's annoying I can't really remember last time, DS wasn't planned and I had a lot going on at the time so I didn't even notice af was late until I was already a week late which is when I took a test. The only thing that comes to mind was my coffee suddenly tasted disgusting (went off it for the whole pregnancy).

I'm thinking of buying OPKs for the next cycle if anything just to check I am definitely ovulating as I've read some get periods but don't ovulate? I was on the implant for 3 years and came off July just gone xx

Still no AF, 3 days late now but still BFNs as far as testing is concerned.

Morning all.

Yesterday evening and all night really I've had horrible stomach pains. Low down on my right side. I was convinced AF was coming early, but no sign. I'm still aching this morning. Any ideas? I'm sleeping a lot too. I wonder if if caught s virus or something 😩

My period is due on 30th so if I use a FRER (Says 6 days before) will that mean I can do it on Christmas Day??

@kizzy97 update us in the morning! I feel really invested in your progress as second cycle for number 2 for both of us!

I have slightly sore boobs today, but still BFing so might be a normal thing. I didn’t have sore boobs with my first pregnancy in the 2WW but still hopeful!
