@HollyB7 that is so exciting that it might be implantation! Fingers crossed for you.

I was going to track BBT this cycle for the first time, then I got the covid booster at the start of my cycle, and my temps were all over the place, so put it off till next one. Hoping it isn't too complicated thoguh/my exhausted self remembers to do it in the mornings.

Going to visit my in laws for a week starting tomorrow, so hoping that will delay my testing neurosis and then i'll either get my AF when i'm there (the likely option), or i'll test when I get home (will likely cave before then). They have really good wine though and I usually drink it, so i'm going to have to get creative for my lowered consumption. Maybe i'll have to tell them that i've gained weight and i'm on a health kick (both true lol).

boymummy89 · 18/11/2021 16:41

I think 7.. So 8 tomorrow I can't help myself each month I say I won't do it cos I torture myself with squinting St the bloody things 😂

@CrumchyLeafs I think it shows implantation is most likely between 8-11 DPO … not much earlier, and if much later then higher risk of loss. Day 9 is ‘most common’. I agree, there is so much conflicting information but this seemed pretty thorough in its explanation. X

Bd1787 · 18/11/2021 13:25

@boymummy89

Anyone caved and done a test yet.. I think I will in the morning. Or probably later 🙊
I probably will in the morning too! I know it's too early but at least it will be out of my system then!
CrumchyLeafs · 18/11/2021 13:06

@FlyOnTheWall89 hmm interesting... so according to this implantation bleeding doesn't exist? Or at least is not related to implantation itself.. and it always happens exactly 9 days after ovulation? Weird, I feel like everywhere you look you get different information.. very frustrating. You would think the scientists would have studied pregnancy in humans enough by now to be sure about these things.

How many DPO are you?

I think I'm going to test Sunday... I wish I was a person who could just not test until the advised time but it plays on my mind so much anyway I may as well!

That's really interesting. Thanks!

This is really informative guys!

CrumchyLeafs · 18/11/2021 10:24

@HollyB7 Implantation happens between days 6 - 12 so it could definitely be the implantation dip! Apparently temperatures in your luteal phase after ovulation don't mean that much anyways and can be all over the place even when pregnant, I just like to keep tracking for completions sake!

HollyB7 · 18/11/2021 09:45
@HollyB7 I track BBT! I use FertilityFriend and I really recommend it, because it shows you a detailed interpretation of the data you input Smile

This is what mine looks like today! Thought I would get an implantation dip in temp today, but it stayed consistent.
Oh there's loads of info on that. I might swap to use that instead then if it's better!!

Mine dropped today, could that be an implantation dip? I was a bit sad to see it drop as I thought they needed to stay high and then dropped before your period. If this is my AF coming it would be very early! I had EWCM so really think OV was 10th.

@Bd1787

Thanks *@madeleine85* that's reassuring. I really just assumed it would happen straight away and got so disheartened when it didn't. We have a holiday to Florida booked in jan so the only upside to not getting pregnant before then is that I'll be able to get on all the rides.

I'm new to bbt tracking @HollyB7 but maybe it's because that's where your temp rises above the line? Do you use opk strips? I find them really helpful for confirming too.

When it updated to say when OV was, it also showed that line for the first time. This is my first month tracking bbt and can honestly say I haven't a clue how it works or what anything means! Need to sit down and try and figure it out!
madeleine85 · 17/11/2021 23:03

@Bd1787 a holiday will be so nice either if you are, or aren't pregnant, though hopefully you are. My family wants to do a huge trip to Australia for their 70th birthdays this summer, and I don't want to tell them that I am trying for a second child in case it doesn't happen, but also if we were to get pregnant I wouldn't want to travel that far at that time so I am looking for excuses to not go. I was very sick the first time, and then went into premature labor at 32 weeks, out DD came at 35 weeks after some dr delaying. Hate the weird taboo feeling of hiding that you are trying from people, but my mum is very nosy and would constantly be asking/assuming if I just had a cold if I mentioned it once.

tryingtobeamama · 17/11/2021 22:27

I am 5 dpo in like an hour so I will join. Last month I was obsessed with symptoms and I had EVERY ONE of them. This time, I have scaled back and kind of stopped paying attention.

madeleine85 · 17/11/2021 21:55

Also to all you lovely ladies saying that you didn't DTD enough, it really does just take one lucky go. We were once a week DTD when we had our BFP for DD, so I promise it is not a myth! Baby dust to you all xx

madeleine85 · 17/11/2021 21:51

Hi fellow TTC ladies. I'm 5 DPO, 2nd cycle TTC for 2nd child. This month we DTD around the right days, but for some reason I got it in my head it wouldn't work this month. Now of course, as the progesterone rises and I feel increasingly crappier each day until BFP or AF I am back to obsessing.

@Roro228 I am 100% with you on the telling myself to expect a 6 month wait as it took 4-5 cycles last time, but that obviously went out the window. My husband has promised me a wine advent calendar which is the only upside of not getting a BFP should that happen :).

HollyB7 · 17/11/2021 21:34

Are you any you tracking BBT? My
App says I ovulated on the 12th but from looking at this I'd say I ovulated on 10th! What do yous think?

5/6dpo who's with me?
CrumchyLeafs · 17/11/2021 20:05

@Bd1787 I'm not sure, I was out and about and quite distracted by my backpain earlier, I only noticed it when I finally laid down and relaxed. AF is still a week out. I am cautiously optimistic! Smile

Bd1787 · 17/11/2021 20:00

Oh that does sound promising, how exciting! Fingers crossed for you, it's surely too early for AF so implantation seems the most likely.

How long have you been having the tugging pain?

CrumchyLeafs · 17/11/2021 19:49

Oh my god, I have been feeling some light tugging pain, but I figured it was just from my backpain radiation and I just went to the bathroom to check CM to log into the apps, and it was pink! This has to be implantation bleeding, right? I never spotted pink before, only ever brown. I am so nervous now! I hope it's not my period coming! Confused

Bd1787 · 17/11/2021 19:27

@CrumchyLeafs Yes it is very old school and I didn't think I would get on with it but it's so much more accurate than others I've tried. I don't really understand the probability score thing which has me at 22 point so doesn't sound promising!

@Arly90 you've done well to resist the urge to test. I wish I could be more relaxed and just go with the flow instead of temping and testing etc but I've found it so stressful.

Hi @HollyB7! The TWW is so hard but I actually find the 10 days or so after AF arrives so much worse. Just that back to the drawing board feeling and not being able to do anything until ovulation.

Welcome too @MrsLeclerc and @Roro228! I'm 6dpo too and will probably start testing Friday despite knowing it's likely too early. I've had strange cramps for 2 days now. At first I thought I was imagining it but it's definitely something I can feel. Obviously could be unrelated but i have everything crossed it's implantation!

Roro228 · 17/11/2021 18:56

Hey can I join the party please :D I'm 6DPO ttc # 2 and this is our 4th cycle. It took 5 cycles last time so I was expecting this but it's still disheartening. I'm planning to hold off testing until Sunday when I'll be 10DPO. But then I always say that.....

MrsLeclerc · 17/11/2021 17:20

Hi, I’m 4dpo and I’m pretty sure we stand a better chance this month as I used ovulation tests. Realised I was ovulating on CD14 rather than CD18 like my period tracker app was telling me.

I have a pretty long cycle so the end of my TWW is 27 Nov but my period due date is 1 Dec. Not sure if I can test at the end of TWW or wait for AF??
