Ttc after miscarriage 🤞🌈✨

Just a thread for any ladies ttc after a miscarriage! Nice to get some support from people going through the same thing. So I had a MMC at ten weeks nearly three weeks ago now. I'm still getting faint positive on tests. My ovulation tests are still all over the place possibly due to the HCG still being in my system. So not totally accurate right now. So I'm currently stuck in limbo land either waiting for ovulation or my period 🤔 any ladies want to join the journey?!?!

@Skl2021 Thx so much for warm welcome; yes, this is first one. Am very fortunate to have two kids already and there is a temptation to get off the rollercoaster, but when the heart wants something... Does anyone have recommendations on management? Keen to avoid surgery but want it over. Will read over thread properly but just to say again I'm sorry you all find yourselves here and I hope 2022 is a good year.

@calimc83 how are you doing with looking after the kids through all this? Mine saw me so distressed yesterday that I ended up telling them (in very, very simple terms; they are 5 and 7) what had happened, rather than letting them imagine what I was possibly such a mess about. I find it really tough to put on a happy face, but not sure if it was right to say. Though they've not mentioned it and life has continued as normal for them. So sorry you're going through this all, too.

Hope it's ok to join here. I began with bleeding at 4 weeks which finally stopped on 27th December and confirmed miscarriage at 5wk 3days on New Years Day. My hcg was at 25 at the time. I didn't test after that and we have DTD a number of times since but I've not been tracking my ovulation. I can't help but feel really anxious about potentially falling pregnant again. I'm worried that I might fail and be unable to but also that I may fall pregnant and miscarry again.

For those of you who had early miscarriages, when did you get your first period afterward? How early do you test? How do you stop yourself from going crazy?!

@Skl2021 exactly, and that’s ok. Yesterday was a write-off for me. Today has been better.

@calimc83 I stupidly thought oh your more fertile after miscarriage and I would fall pregnant again straight away 🙄 now here I am again not happened 🤦 hope I wake up in a better mood 🤞🙌
@PamelaDoov some days are just too much 🤦 write it off and start again tomorrow hopefully 🙌

@Skl2021 I know exactly how you feel. This is only my first month and it's already taking over/stressing me out. No signs of pregnancy whatsoever either. But...we must think positively if we can, chin up, we'll get there xx

@calimc83 I think I'm just having a down day. Feel like giving up already. Such a rough journey! I'm not feeling positive about this cycle and the thought of doing it every month is killing me 😩 x

@Skl2021 that's exactly why I went with them when TTC after the MC. Cycles seem to be a bit crazy thought it might pinpoint things down for us..but I find it stressful! And I need to stop symptom spotting 🙈 x

@calimc83 my first pregnancy I ended up testing with the clear blue sticks as it took nearly a year and I was willing to try everything! Second pregnancy we went trying and got pregnant first month! This time I feel like I need to use opks as my cycle is all over and ovulation changes every month and I can't keep up with DTD so much I run out of steam 🤣🤦 so find it easier to pin point the exact time. I also had some very long cycles 🙄 may give it ago again for a cycle see if it's less stress 🤔 x

@Sparklesurprise29 sorry you’re still having a tough time of it, I’d feel exactly the same. I’m nervous about getting my first AF, I’m hoping I’ll spot ovulation signs before then and try to catch it.

Hi everyone hope you're all okay💖 been gone for a few days, AF was fine physically but tough emotionally for me but feeling better now I'm at the tail end of it. First AF since MC wasn't particularly heavy or sore which I'm so so glad about! It was the same as my usual AF I'd say.
I'm now CD 6 and hopefully can get a BFP this month. 🌈 Welcome to any new joiners 💖💖

@calimc83 definitely hard! Once your in you can't get out 🙈😂 your nearly there tho 🤞 I haven't even started yet! So sick of ttc now it's doing my head in. IV even thought of stopping all the tests and trying a month of not knowing anything! I'm getting desperate! X

@calimc83 yes step away you only have a few more days to wait now! Haha yes hide them or you use them 🙈😂 I need mine hiding! I feel so weird Feel like I'm coming on got stomach ache. This has been such a weird month Iv never experienced all this 😂🙈 wonder if covid has messed me up as it's not my normal cycle. 🤔 X

@calimc83 yes u still have time it's too early yet! Keep postive 🙌 I wouldn't use one yet! Did it not have a faint line? Think it depends on the tests I have used some in the past were I had no lines too! I thought they were broke 😂🤦 yes I thought it was quite dark nearly there but then it's throwing me with having no symptoms my brain is like dont trust it 😂 yes I'm going to have to arnt I 🙈🙄 I'm so sick of DTD already! X

@Skl2021 7 days DPO...nope not going to! But caved to an OPK which was 💯 negative...didn't even think that was possible?! That OPK looks promising..u going to get down to business?! X

@Hopingforarainbow27 I'm the same...don't think it's this cycle. Stupidly decided to try the OPK theory as I have loads of them...absolutely nothing showing! Not even a faint line 🙈😆 x

@calimc83 I woke up this morning convinced I'm not pregnant. Boobs are a wee bit sore when I touch them but that's really all. I've 5 days to wait 🤦🏽‍♀️

@calimc83 oh no 🙊😂 hold strong don't use one yet it's too early! What dpo are you now? I'm doing ok I think my test was darker today 🤔😂🙄 or I'm seeing things but I have no ewcm so don't know what's going on. I get it every month for days!! X

@Ganesh2022 welcome, I'm so so sorry for your loss. This was my 3rd pregnancy, I had a MMC at around 9 weeks in Nov. Found out at a harmony scan. Strangely enough I'd felt rough all pregnancy with this one and my symptoms did taper off but I thought it was to do with placenta taking over. I have a 4 and 2yr old and never felt that rough with them. I turned 39 last week so also v much feeling the pressure of time..xx
