Ttc after miscarriage 🤞🌈✨

Just a thread for any ladies ttc after a miscarriage! Nice to get some support from people going through the same thing. So I had a MMC at ten weeks nearly three weeks ago now. I'm still getting faint positive on tests. My ovulation tests are still all over the place possibly due to the HCG still being in my system. So not totally accurate right now. So I'm currently stuck in limbo land either waiting for ovulation or my period 🤔 any ladies want to join the journey?!?!

Yes I've had negative tests 2 days in a row now but my HCG was already very low on Thursday at only 30.

@Jayjane79 ah ok...it's so hard to know what to do for the best..I probs would of held off but when she scanned me I was told I was about to ovulate so didn't want to wait. Have u had a negative pregnancy test then? X

Wellllllll I'm in a similar situation. I thought I'd stopped bleeding and dtd for 2 days then I had a further 2 more days of bleeding but was very light. It has now fully stopped. I'm worried myself if ive caused an Infection. But I have no intentions of waiting so I've started my opk's 3rd day negative now and 12 days since bleeding started but 2 days since its stopped. It was the lightest miscarriage I've had. I've had previous ones in my 20's and it was horrendous. I had no pain with this just a dull ache for 2 days and never once filled a pad.

@Jayjane79 well I spoke to them this morning again and she was like do not have sex without protection....oops! Best abstain now. So frustrating as I'm desperate to be pregnant again...hoping I haven't brought about an infection now 😫 x

I'd go for it, unless they strictly said no but I can't see that because I'm guessing the tissue will just break down naturally.

A Christmas BFP would be amazing! If I ovulate when my app predicts (day 14), I’d be 11DPO on Christmas Day so it’s possible, although I don’t really like testing early. Might not be able to resist though 😅
If I ovulate as normal which I'm unsure yet as its only been 12 days since the start of my MC. I will also be 11dpo Christmas day. I'm still getting negative OPK's but I have a feeling I will ovulate a few days later.

@JuniperAndTonic yes my cycles are a bit all over it. Changes from month to month so makes it hard to pin point ovulation! I had one at the start of the year which was 50 days long 🙈🤦 they started to stay around 30-35 so hopefully not to long but we will see! A nice early one will do Me so I can stop DTD 🤣 yes I get ewcm for quite a few days! But no pains! Good luck to you too 🤞✨ a Christmas bfp would be lovely 🙌

@Skl2021 wow that is quite long haha and I definitely wouldn’t have the energy to DTD that much 😂 do you have long cycles then? I guess I’m lucky that my cycle is pretty regular, I also get other signs of ovulation like pain and EWCM. Fingers crossed you ovulate soon and you get another perfect cycle 🤞🏻

@JuniperAndTonic the month I fell pregnant I ovulated on cd 14 which never happens it was like the perfect cycle 🙈 was hoping for that again! All the other months were after cd 20 🤦 I CBA DTD every other day if my cycle is really long 🤣 and yes I'm already becoming obsessed with the testing 👀😩 good luck with your testing 🤣🤞 xx

@Skl2021 sorry you’re feeling stressed! It definitely sucks being in this position again! I usually ovulate day 13-15, it varies so I’ll be interested to see what happens this cycle. I used the clear blue digital ovulation sticks for the first time on the cycle I got pregnant and still have some left so I’ll use those, for a 28 day cycle I think the packaging says to start testing on day 9. But I’m with you - it drives me crazy and I have to be careful not to get obsessed with peeing on sticks!!

@claremc1983 well we were trying for every two days but we missed it yesterday so maybe Tonight I will get back to it 🤣 the only thing is sometimes I don't ovulate until late and I can't keep DTD for a month 🤦🤣 if I do ovulate on cd 14 then I need to get a move on! But my opks are still quite light so can't see that! Just wish it would happen already I'm very impatient 🙊🤣 xx

@Skl2021 sorry you're feeling stressed! It's so hard not to...wow 20 weeks. That really is hard...I'm trying my best not to think of the weeks now if at all poss. Are u still dtd even if opk not positive? Worth a shot? Hopefully we can have a go tonight. DH is hungover though Angry

@claremc1983 looks nearly positive to me! Get busy 🤣😉 I'm not doing great in stressed over ovulation already and I'm only cd 11 I'm scared it's not going to happen 🙈😩 need to try and relax. I'm also having moments of being angry and upset that I'm doing this again. I should of been nearly 20 weeks now. Just keeps hitting me in waves 🤦 just want to get through ovulation then hopefully I can relax a bit 🙈
@JuniperAndTonic your not far behind me! Do you ovulate quite early? I don't know when to expect mine 🤦🙈 opk testing is driving me nuts already x

Hi, just checking in! CD5 here, just finishing AF and will start OPKs in the next couple of days I think!

I’ve been keeping busy as I’ve been a bit sad at times the last few days, I think it’s because I should have been coming up to 12 weeks and we were looking forward to making an announcement at Christmas time! So I’ve been trying to do lots of fun stuff (and also working).

@Jayjane79 we weren’t exactly “trying” straight after the miscarriage but also we weren’t being careful if you know what I mean! Grin As @Skl2021 said it’s fine to try straight away they just prefer you to wait for dating reasons unless you’ve been told otherwise!

@claremc1983 that almost looks positive! Maybe check again tomorrow?

@Jayjane79 sorry to hear about your miscarriage. Alot of people do try again straight away. I chose to wait until after period but only because of timing. If your ready and stopped bleeding then go for it! Think doctors only want u to wait as it's easier to date the pregnancy! Good luck ✨

Hi I hope you don't mind me joining in on this thread. I very sadly started to MC 10 days ago the bleeding is almost over now and my pregnancy tests are now negative and so are opk's which is obviously what I wanted to see so I can start TTC again. Im counting today as CD10.

The early pregnancy unit advised me to wait 1 cycle but I really don't want to as I've heard your far more fertile the first 3 months after (not sure how true this is).

On my scan last Tuesday my lining was lovely and thick, ovaries fine, etc they couldn't see why I was bleeding but HCG blood work confirmed MC.

Did anyone else start to TTC immediately after ?

So I've finally tested negative with a PG test. Still spotting a little but now having loads of CM. Taken an OPK which I e neve usually used but is negative. Is it worth 'having a go' tonight?!Wink

Has anyone tried acupuncture? I've had two miscarriages and am booked in for next Thursday. I've had blood tests done and all came back normal! Frustrating to say the least

@JuniperAndTonic @Skl2021 I feel exactly the same re wanting to carry on but also being worried about this happening again. It's such a tough spot to be in isn't it.

But I have several friends who have had MCs and gone onto have healthy pregnancies within the year so fingers crossed for us :)
