Ttc after miscarriage 🤞🌈✨

Just a thread for any ladies ttc after a miscarriage! Nice to get some support from people going through the same thing. So I had a MMC at ten weeks nearly three weeks ago now. I'm still getting faint positive on tests. My ovulation tests are still all over the place possibly due to the HCG still being in my system. So not totally accurate right now. So I'm currently stuck in limbo land either waiting for ovulation or my period 🤔 any ladies want to join the journey?!?!

@JuniperAndTonic haha we are powering through too I'm not missing this no matter how Ill we are 🤦🤣🙌 hopefully get a rest after Tomorrow 🙄🙊 Yes I was shocked how quick they changed! Usually get a gradual rise! Hope u don't get your peak until your home 🤞🤞

@claremc1983 well I'm hoping to make it until 7/8 dpo? But we will see I just can't help myself even though there is no point!! X

@Skl2021 glad you got your peak!! Me and DH both had a cold the month we conceived, around ovulation time too! We just had to power through and something obviously worked! 😂 Got everything crossed for you 🤞🏻

CD10 here, did an OPK today, it was definitely negative but I’ve also found int he fast they go from nothing to super strong line really quick so I’ll keep testing! I’m away for the weekend now without DH so hopefully I don’t get a peak until im back home on Sunday haha!

@claremc1983 yes feeling positive now don't know how long it was last 😩🙈 oh I don't cope it drives me mad and I'm a serial tester so will probably start testing stupidly early 🤦🙊 hoping with it being near Christmas that will keep me busy. Period will be due around Christmas 👀 praying for a Christmas miracle 🤞🤞✨✨ xx

@Skl2021 glad u are ok and feeling positive! They do seem to peak super quick from nothing...don't worry about being poorly. Sure all will be fine. How do u keep occupied in the 2WW?? I find that's so hard...x

@claremc1983 yes I'm doing ok thankyou feeling a bit more positive as I got my peak today 🙌 cd 16 so will be heading into the tww! Glad it's finally here as I was scared I wasn't going to ovulate! My tests went from nothing to peak very quick! Just need to shift this cold aswell 🤦 hope it doesn't affect anything with us both being ill while trying xx

@Hello47 I've left all the tests at home! Will retest when I get home...it's nice to not have them here to think about tbh. Hope u are ok? It's so hard isn't it getting your head around desperately hoping for a negative test....Confused

@claremc1983 how are your tests going? Sun and wine would be amazing!

I called the epu today and spoke to a doctor, they said as I’m otherwise well with no bleeding, pain, temp etc to wait another week and test again. Really hoping to get a negative next week, so strange to say that - seems so backwards when only a few months ago I wanted anything but a negative hpt.

@Hello47 so sorry for your losses. Welcome to the board. I'm in the same predicament still testing v faintly positive over 3 weeks since my MC. DTD twice since and now panicking I'm gonna get an infection! X

Hi all

I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks nearly a month ago. Ended up having a d&c. It is my third miscarriage my others were at 7wks and 20wks. This is the first time I've had a d&c and was just wondering how long it takes for periods to return?

@Hello47 sorry for your losses. I also had a miscarriage at ten weeks and I tested positive until after my first period. However it was very faint! If your unsure I would ring epu back and maybe they will reasurre you. Some people just take longer to get the HCG out of your system. X

I had a MMC of twins at 10 weeks and surgical management almost 3 weeks ago. I’ve been testing my hcg and it still brings a faint result, it’s driving me mad. I’m suppose to call EPU Friday if positive. Has anyone else struggled with this? I just feel I can’t move on and I’m desperate to ttc again. I just keeping thinking it’s going to be retained products and it’s all going to get so drawn out 😢

@Skl2021 haha, I got like that before when we first started TTC. It was all I could think about and just peeing on sticks all the time! 🤦🏼‍♀️ The only thing is, after ovulation comes the two week wait which I hate!! I’m jsut so impatient and want to know straight away so waiting two weeks to know if it worked kills me! 😂 at least I’ll be distracted with Christmas during the TWW this month!

Just checking in, not much to report here, cycle day 8 so just waiting for fertile week. Re read my clear blue ovulation tests, for a 28 day cycle they say to start on day 11 so still a few days to go! Got kids of cheap strips though so can always use those if I feel the urge!

Hope you get a proper negative test soon @claremc1983! Mine was negative after 2 weeks but I was only 6+2 when the miscarriage started and my HCG was only 100 when they confirmed it in EPAU so I guess it depends how far along you were and how high the levels were! Definitely contact them if you feel unwell in any way though!

And I hope you ovulate soon @Skl2021 🤞🏻 Try not to stress about, definitely won’t help, your body knows what it’s doing and it will come!

@Skl2021 yeah that's what they told me. We go on holiday ( I hope!) tomorrow. Hoping period will be arriving in about 2 weeks, after we get back, if I ovulated at the beginning of the week, it should theoretically turn up after out hol. If positive after hol will call then x
