@GivenchyDahhling it's really tempting to test early, especially as those tests say you can test early. I think for me anything before 12dpo would be a bit too early. Most reliable would be the day before AF. I've seen a lot of folk on here seeing lines even at 9/10 dpo, so it is possible.

mrsS21 · 17/11/2021 06:34

Thanks @Thedesirerainbow, that really does give me hope. I know our journey isn’t even that long compared to others, but I just find it so frustrating.

Fingers crossed we can get our bfp this month too x

GivenchyDahhling · 16/11/2021 20:47

From my tracker AF is due on Monday; I haven’t been tracking ovulation but if I was a “perfect” cycle my app says it would have been last Monday which makes me 8dpo I think (this is all still really new to me).

Anyway. I decided to test today but I think I cocked up, I bought the Clear Blue digital ultra early and got a not pregnant but I’ve since done some research and they don’t seem to be considered that good. The box reckons 78% accuracy when 6 days until missed period. I know I probably should just wait until a missed period but wondering if anyone had any advice on early testing generally? This thread has got me carried away I think Sad

Thedesirerainbow · 16/11/2021 19:58

@mrsS21 I feel you 😌 we did that too, and it didn't work for those 5-6months. We were back again to normal as we thought what's the point if nothing was happening? and I also started feeling a bit resentful to quit all these little things that I enjoy doing or eating and at the same time not getting what I want. We both went back to normal for the last 2 months and miraculously got my first positive 🤷🏽‍♀️
Sending you lots of positive thoughts!

Jlcw · 16/11/2021 19:39

Yes! Final BD lastnight (cd18, 1dpo). Just to ensure.

mrsS21 · 16/11/2021 19:38

Fingers crossed for everyone this month. Every month we get another negative just takes away the excitement of it all. Planning and plotting charts of best times to dtd to ensure we’re hitting the best chances, taking as many vitamins as we can, losing weight, not drinking/eating sugar/whatever they say we need to do…all to help us get baby-ready. Then others can dtd once, or just look at their OH and they’re pregnant!! Feeling just a little down about it feeling so hard.

I know it’s completely worth it, but some days it just feels so unfair.

Thedesirerainbow · 16/11/2021 19:36

@GivenchyDahhling @mightbeyesmightbeno @Tinkerbell098 thank you girls!

@Justkeepswimming20 thank you! I know, I was not expecting first of all any positive, but secondly that strong on my 8 or 9 dpo? I could not believe it. Still don't. The urge to do the test was just because my boobs were so sore, but this time from its sides rather than nipples - which this is what I normally get for pre AF. they aren't as sore today but they feel heavy xx

@Amikins92 - That's when I'm planning on testing too as it's when AF is due for me! Good luck and fingers crossed for you! :)

kizzy97 · 16/11/2021 17:07

@Tinkerbell098 - I seem to have stopped with it for today at least now, hopefully it's a good sign! :)

Amikins92 · 16/11/2021 16:59

Hi everyone, first time ttc and currently on the 2ww! Feel so impatient! Wonder if I am imagininh symptoms or whether it's just my normal bodily stuff. Planning to test in the 21st November. 🤞🤞🤞

Peonies94 · 16/11/2021 16:57

@beckybabyx it’s torture isn’t it! We’ve got this though!

beckybabyx · 16/11/2021 16:13

It's so hard to stay positive isn't it ladies- but thank you for all your support xx

mightbeyesmightbeno · 16/11/2021 15:37

@Tinkerbell098 yes, utterly cruel when you wake up to reality.

Tinkerbell098 · 16/11/2021 15:24

@mightbeyesmightbeno I've had those unfortunately, and it's so mean! Mind playing tricks on us.

@kizzy97 I'm too scared too and sick of seeing BFNs all these months so not hopeful about this month being any different. I told myself I'm not testing until at least Thursday. But I think I will on Saturday morning the latest as I'm going down to see family on Sunday for a birthday party, so wanted to know if it'll be safe to drink etc. I haven't had any more spotting though, and I know they say everyone/every cycle is different, so I won't know until I get that BFP.

kizzy97 · 16/11/2021 15:13

@Tinkerbell098 - Just been again and more streaks in cm, it's not a lot or anything, it's dark though. I'm not too sure about testing before af due, I'm too scared 😂 atm I'm aiming to wait until Sunday providing af dosen't show up! When are you planning on testing? xx

@mightbeyesmightbeno - My first pregnancy I didn't get any spotting at all until I was 5 weeks and by then had already had my bfp, but they say each one is different so you never know! Thank you xx

mightbeyesmightbeno · 16/11/2021 15:09

I had such a vivid and very cruel dream last night about a positive pregnancy test. So realistic. I hate this TTC malarkey.

Tinkerbell098 · 16/11/2021 14:44

@kizzy97 are you thinking of testing before AF due date?

mightbeyesmightbeno · 16/11/2021 14:40

@kizzy97 my first pregnancy I started spotting about 5/6 days before my period was due and spotted for 4 days then it stopped totally. Period never came and pregnancy continued. I think for me it was implantation spotting so obviously keeping everything crossed for you x

Tinkerbell098 · 16/11/2021 14:12

@kizzy97 it's similar to what I noticed yesterday when wiping FMU (sorry tmi). It was just a tiny brown spot. I didn't want to read too much into it as didn't want to have high hopes. My AF is also due on Sunday/Monday.

Fingers crossed for both of us xx

kizzy97 · 16/11/2021 14:08

It's not heavy started out with tiny speck in cm (sorry tmi) wouldn't of noticed it if not examining (sorry sounds gross 🙈) and the a little bit when I wiped but it was thin if that makes sense, like it was just part of the urine almost? Hard to explain. I normally spot before af but not this early on, I'm not due on till Sunday xx

Tinkerbell098 · 16/11/2021 13:32

@kizzy97 is it heavy? Is it usual for you to have spotting before AF? When is AF due? Sorry for all the questions haha!

kizzy97 · 16/11/2021 12:52

I've started spotting today at 10dpo, don't know what to think...

Tinkerbell098 · 16/11/2021 11:35

@beckybabyx I know how you feel. I've also just had a little cry as this is all so very overwhelming. But until we get our AF, we shouldn't lose hope. Good luck to both of us xx

beckybabyx · 16/11/2021 11:01

Can really feel my period coming (due Friday) today and I have had a little cry as it is just so draining this TTC! Sad
