@kizzy97 is it normal for you to be spotting the days leading up to AF? I've heard that IB can go on for a few days and some actually mistake it for AF.

@Tinkerbell098 I have some internet cheapies but I think I may get a FRER from boots this evening if AF/AF symptoms haven't started yet xx

@kizzy97 yea, my DH has seen tests lying around but I've never told him I've ever tested. I think I'll wait until Saturday morning and will test when he's around, at least for some emotional support and then we could go out to get some cake to cheer me up. That's the plan anyway. But not hopeful at all as I don't have any symptoms whatsoever. I hardly get any symptoms before AF either, so I'm always clueless.

@beckybabyx thanks! I didn't think it was that early to test. But I guess everyone's different and every test is different. I think 4 days is a good amount of time to be able to detect if implantation happened. What test would you be using?

Sorry to hear about your BFN's ladies. But remember you aren't out until AF shows.. I don't know why we all do it ourselves testing early but we just can't help it can we.
I saved myself the heartache this morning, went to test and just thought no lets wait and see if AF turns up.

I am 15DPO today, AF due tomorrow and don't have any kind of symptoms that it is going to start yet so hopefully thats good news. Wiped a TINY bit of brown on 12DPO so if AF hasn't turned up by tomorrow morning then hoping if that was IB then surely it would show up positive 4 days later?

@Tinkerbell098 - I know what you mean, DP knows I bought the tests but dosen't know I've taken one yet. When do you think you'll try again?

@TTCThyroid2021 sorry to hear about your BFN. I think today is disappointment day for all of us. Hoping to hear some good news in the next couple of days from you girls.

@kizzy97 yes gives us some hope. I've just gone and bought some Sainsbury's own ones and it says the same thing. Don't think I have the courage to test again though as this morning's test really put me down. I'm glad you girls are here to talk it through as I haven't even told my DH.

Just read the leaflet (I know I know should have read that first 😅) you can take it 4 days before your missed period but it's most accurate from first day of missed period...gives me that slight bit of hope I guess and hang in there @TTCThyroid2021 still early yet xx

Hi ladies, I’m with you and feeling your pain.. 10DPO today, no usual Pre period symptoms but BFN :(

@Tinkerbell098 - I'll try again tomorrow with FMU this time, I had some more spotting yesterday so maybe it's because it's literally just implanted if I am? Idk but if it's negative again in the morning I'll test again Sunday if AF still hasn't shown up. Hopefully yours is just too early to pick up yet too xx

@mightbeyesmightbeno thanks lovely. It's really messed me up. Month after month after trying, making so many lifestyle changes each month, seeing BFNs, it really takes a toll on you. To make matters worse, I had a dream this morning where I was at a scan and could see my baby on the US and it filled me with so much emotion. Woke up from this lovely dream to take a test, only to see a BFN! How cruel is that?

@kizzy97 I'm sorry you didn't see a BFP. Today's not our day. But as everyone says here, it's not over until AF arrives. Let's hope it's not strong enough to be detected yet. Lots of hugs xx

Just taken a test, BFN, used Asdas own and it wasn't FMU but oh well xx

@Tinkerbell098 although I totally get where you're coming from, they do say that some tests don't show until the day before. So like others have said, not out until AF arrives, just hope it doesn't for you. But understand you wanting to take a break - this TTC just messes with your head so much.

@kizzy97 @Peonies94 @mightbeyesmightbeno thanks everyone for the support. I'm 12 dpo today so thought it should be detectable by now. I used a FRER so it should have picked it up. I'm due my AF on Sunday/Monday (my cycles alternate between 29 and 30 days). I think I'm out this cycle. I don't have any pronounced symptoms anymore either, so my body has just given up. I'm taking a break next month and trying again in the new year.

I'm so sorry @Tinkerbell098 @Peonies94 @mightbeyesmightbeno but it dosen't mean you're out yet, remember it is still quite early people develop their hcg at different rates, there just might not be enough there yet xx

@mightbeyesmightbeno I’ve heard some people saying they get stronger positives in pm, but I do think this means I’m out! It’s strange I had the two positives though, makes me wonder how two? The other tests this am came from the same box! I hate these mind games

I'm 9dpo today and had some cramping last night and this morning the faintest brown/red tinge when wiping. I'm really hoping this is IB but who knows! No other symptoms so I'm clueless

I’m so sorry @Peonies94 @mightbeyesmightbeno hopefully later today after a good, long hold you’ll get another bfp. Both looked there on those yesterday.

I got all carried away and tested last night, hoping seeing all these bfp’s was a sign. Obviously bfn as I’m 9dpo today! So I told myself off and will wait until AF shows (or not). (Don’t want to see another negative if I can help it.
