TTC NOVEMBER 2021

Hey all! I’ve been on and off these threads since September. First two months of TTC I was feeling super stressed and found it tedious to wait. I was testing loads and just getting carried away so this month I decided to chill about it.

Anyway first day of my fertile window we DTD and the next day I got thrush. I didn’t get my usual EWCM either so I had completely rules myself out for this month! The night before last I thought I’d come on as I had brown discharge like I usually do with AF but then this morning I realised my period hadn’t followed so I grabbed a test on the off chance and LOOK!! I’m in utter shock! I don’t want to tell my OH until he’s home from work so I had to share here!

Anyway I thought it might be nice to share that relaxing and not stressing can be beneficial!

I’m new to Mumsnet but thought I would join the conversation after feeling very deflated for a while. We have been TTC for 6 months since getting married and every month, the BFN or arrival of AF knocks me sideways.
This morning I tested, although I have all usual symptoms of PMS, and have a very faint line. I’m 12 DPO and have had a few negative early tests over this week. I’m nervous about getting my hopes up and worry that it could be an evaporation line - although it is pink in colour instead of clear.

Will test again tomorrow morning - until then will feel sick (with nerves!)

I can’t believe I’m typing this but….!! I’m in complete shock, I was not expecting this at all!! I’m sending so much baby dust and positivity to you @SantiagoSister and everyone else testing in the next few days!! I just want everyone on this thread to be pregnant ASAP ❤️❤️

I’m not sure which thread to write on now, so I’ll do both ☺️ The symptom spotting is starting to creep in! AF due on Wednesday and my boobs have usually started to hurt by now, they hurt SO much before AF arrives, with DD before my BFP I didn’t even notice any breast pain, time will tell! Those snowballs are awesome!

@SantiagoSister @mrsmw132 glad I wasn’t the only one!! I knew I was effectively pouring money down the train yet I did it anyway. Feeling a bit deflated tonight as I feel quite pms’y and just ate a whole bag of sharing chocolate snowball things which I feel is a sign of AF round the corner….fingers crossed for us for tomorrow (and the days after!) c

@mrsmw132 sorry to hear you had a negative too 😔 there is still hope, you’re not out until your period arrives as they say 🤞🏼 Keeping my fingers crossed for you. It’s so frustrating when your body isn’t doing what you want/need it to do, TTC is such a rollercoaster 😔

I also caved. Negative but I still had hope.
I'm on IUI 3 but I have started spotting at 9dpo/10dpo.
Does anyone else get super frustrated with their body.
I ovulate, my progesterone seems fine, but I seem to start spotting at 9 orc10 each cycle.
Sometimes I just get so frustrated 😧🙄

@Essexnewbie so glad it wasn’t just me who was tempted!!! 😂 sorry to hear it was negative but of course there’s still hope! 🤞🏼 I have managed to hold off at the moment (god knows how) but I might be tempted this afternoon 🙈 argh how horrible you have a cold now, it’s really doing the rounds. @SantiagoSister I caved and did a test this morning!! Even though we’re so close now 😂 negative obviously….do whatever you feel you need to do though! I can’t believe it’s Friday tomorrow, didn’t think the day would ever come. Totally agree it’s really good to know our bodies better and pay attention, but yes so annoying isn’t it that the symptoms are so similar. I’ve come down with a horrid cold today too so now I feel like I can’t trust any of the symptoms as it could all just be run down/PMS! How are you feeling today? Sorry to hear about the endometriosis and pelvic pain being a daily thing for you 😔 x

So ladies.. I’m really fighting the urge to test today 😂 I’m so impatient.. I only have to wait until tomorrow which was when I said I would start testing! I know the chances of a bfp at 8DPO are so small so I do need to wait!

@Essexnewbie I can’t believe it either actually, it’s gone really quickly. I’m so glad it’s going quick for you too and that you’ve felt ok mind wise today. Hopefully the evening has been ok for you too and you haven’t been worrying too much. I’m so happy to say tomorrow is finally Friday!! I’ve had a busy day/evening and only just getting to bed 🥱 but it does help the time pass! Ooh I think your symptoms are all sounding very positive 🤞🏼 It’s annoying how similar pregnancy symptoms are to PMS isn’t it, but I think it’s good to be aware of them so we can learn our bodies better. No new symptoms for me really, had a few sharp little pains around my womb earlier this evening, but unfortunately I have endometriosis so pelvic pain is a part of my daily life and I can’t really use that as reliable symptom 😐 so the tests say to use first morning urine, but when I got my bfp last time it was around 3:30pm when I tested. So I’m thinking I might try and hold out until the afternoon 🤞🏼 How about you? Do you think you’ll test in the morning? X

@SantiagoSister keeping everything crossed for you! I find myself having to reign back to excited fantasy moment of finally getting a BFP and getting back to living in the moment! @Essexnewbie I agree, this week has flown in thankfully. Weekend will be here before we know it!!

@SantiagoSister ooh I hope that’s a premonition too!! You never know. Can’t believe tomorrow we can say it’s Friday tomorrow! This week is going quite fast for me luckily, I hope it is for you too. I’ve been feeling mostly okay mind wise today it’s just evenings when the doubts start creeping in. Physically just still increased CM and so so tired but that could just be general life 😂 A little bit off my food but think that could also be normal PMS and work stress 🤷🏼‍♀️ Is it best to test in the morning do you know? Not done this bit before!! X

I really hope everyone gets lucky with their BFP this month!
But in case not, how do I find the december thread? :)) Yesterday was my last period day so I’m excited for a new chance!
