This certainly does seem to be a lucky thread - I got a bfp this morning at 11DPO 🥰

I wasn't going to test again until AF is due on Friday after a bfn at 9DPO but I couldn't resist this morning. I did a FRER and saw a very faint line and couldn't be sure what the result was, so I used a digital and it said pregnant.

I know it's very early days so I'm trying not to get too excited yet!

CountryGirl189 · 01/12/2021 08:08

@ajayelbee sounds like me, although my cramps seem a bit more constant - quite dull, but I can’t stop thinking ‘how can that tiny thing survive them?!’

I do have very, very painful periods though, so not sure if that’s why I’m feeling them more?

Oh god I hate this waiting and worrying! 12 weeks can’t come quick enough! 😅

SantiagoSister · 01/12/2021 08:07

@CountryGirl189 that’s completely normal, nothing to worry about but I do remember worrying about the same thing previously too. This time, my boobs don’t hurt at all yet and I’m like 🤔🤷🏽‍♀️

@ajayelbee I’m with you on that one, predicted AF today for me today, hoping it passes smoothly with no sign! Same for you tomorrow 🤞🏼 I’m not too bad thank you, things still don’t seem real for me yet, I don’t think it’s sunk in. Having zero symptoms is strange too! How are you doing?

ajayelbee · 01/12/2021 07:31

Morning @CountryGirl189 my symptoms are coming and going as well. I’m also getting cramps sporadically, and TMI feeling wet like I’ve come on. I think it’s pretty normal as your uterus is stretching and changing to accommodate new little bean! My boobs only seem to be sore when I’m trying to sleep and I’m already getting random waves of nausea. To be honest, I’m pretty glad the symptoms aren’t constant! It wouldn’t be that much fun!!

@SantiagoSister I might wait for AF day to come and go and then start looking at making/ joining a due thread. My lines are getting darker, but I just want Thursday to come and go with no AF! How are you getting on?

CountryGirl189 · 01/12/2021 07:23

Quick question: is it normal to have on and off sore boobs?

I feel like mine were really sore yesterday, but today not so much! Being the worrier I am, I’m like “aren’t you meant to get worse?!”

And the cramps! Constantly feel like I’m about to come on and keep dashing to the loo! But it’s slightly different to period pain in that it’s really low down and almost in my pelvic bone and just generally feels really heavy…

Is this normal?! Thank you in advance!

SantiagoSister · 30/11/2021 19:57

So lovely @CountryGirl189 🥰 keeping my fingers crossed for a little sticky one!

SantiagoSister · 30/11/2021 19:56

@ajayelbee it’s so hard to stop though isn’t it 😂🙈 to be honest I hadn’t looked at the July/Aug thread, I’ve just had a scoot through and it has 12 pages so far.. I know what you mean about when the threads are super busy, it is hard to keep up sometimes! Maybe our own specific August thread would narrow it down a bit, I’m happy either way, I’ll go with whichever you guys do, I’d like to carry on this journey with you all 😊

CountryGirl189 · 30/11/2021 18:09

I’ve done ClearBlue this eve and got the below - eeeek! Remaining cautiously optimistic for a sweet little sticky bean 🥰

@CountryGirl189 @mrsmw132 @SantiagoSister right with you all on the worry and poas obsession! I did another this afternoon and had to remind myself it was fainter because the test was MUCH less sensitive than a frer. I know it’s time to stop now, but I also know I won’t! 🤣

@SantiagoSister is the due in July/ August 2022 thread super busy? I find it hard to keep up sometimes, so maybe if it is we could make a specific August 2022 one? 😍

SantiagoSister · 30/11/2021 17:22

Oh the worry never ends @CountryGirl189 😂 it just changes to something else I find! 🤦🏽‍♀️

I’m with @mrsmw132, I just keep testing and I really do need to stop now 😂

mrsmw132 · 30/11/2021 16:03

@CountryGirl189 I was 11dpo too but my lines keep getting better! My wife is demented with the amount of tests 😂
Looking forward to your progression 🥰

mrsmw132 · 30/11/2021 16:02

@Curlywurly3 that's a positive alright!!Grin

CountryGirl189 · 30/11/2021 15:50

@SantiagoSister @ajayelbee - thank you ladies 🥰

It’s my first pregnancy and I’ve been so anxious in case I struggled, but now I’m anxious it won’t stick! Tempted to keep testing, but equally terrified that one day it’ll come up negative! I’m such a worrier 😂

SantiagoSister · 30/11/2021 15:25

Oh @Curlywurly3!!! Wow! So pleased for you, big congratulations! That’s a definite 😍 as @ajayelbee said, this thread is a very lucky one so far!! Congratulations to all with their bfps 🥰

@CountryGirl189 they are lovely lines! Congratulations! ✨ completely feel you on the health anxiety, pregnancy is such a worrisome time but you must remember that you cannot control the outcome, so it’s best to just relax and take each day as it comes. Today, you are pregnant! ❤️

ajayelbee · 30/11/2021 12:44

@Curlywurly3 that’s a BFP alright!! 🎉 congratulations!!! Omg. I can’t believe how many we’ve had on this thread ❤️

@CountryGirl189 congrats on your BFP there too! Everyone’s HcG levels are so different, but you’ve got a nice line on your frer!

CountryGirl189 · 30/11/2021 12:10

Hope no one minds me jumping on this thread, but I was hoping someone could attempt to put my mind at rest?

Over the past couple of days, I’ve taken some Poundland strips and had the faintest line, so got a FRER and some cheap Boots tests.

I was 11dpo yesterday when I took these and the Boots tests came up at five minutes still pretty faint, but then darkened within 10 minutes.

The FRER came up like this straight away within three minutes - is this looking promising at 11dpo?

I have quite bad health anxiety and so desperate for a baby, I’m terrified of a chemical or something going wrong!

Top photo is at 5 mins, bottom at 10 mins :)

Thank you so much!

SantiagoSister · 30/11/2021 11:50

Thank you so much @ajayelbee, likewise back to you also ❤️ Loving your line progression, it’s such a lovely feeling isn’t it 🥰

@mrsmw132 I feel the same about this thread too! A very lucky thread 🥰 so I’ve been sent over a Due July/August 2022 thread to join when I’m ready (just cautiously waiting for AF date to pass tomorrow before doing so), do you think us ladies should join that one, or would a more specific Due August 2022 one be better to make? 🤔

ajayelbee · 30/11/2021 11:07

Hi @ElleFreddie! The “average” timescale for implantation is 6-12 days after ovulation. And any bleeding would be seen just after that. So it’s possible, though I’m not sure how probable. Is there any chance you may have ovulated later than you think?

@mrsmw132 aw look at your lovely progression! 😍 I feel the same about this thread!

mrsmw132 · 30/11/2021 10:43

I feel so lucky to have found this thread! Thank you for all your positive wishes and threads! You kept me sane!
Looking forward to the new thread of due August 2020!

Hi all! Big congrats to all the November BFP's. This is a lucky thread if I've ever read one.

I just thought I'd throw my wishful thinking out there and ask if anyone has experienced something similar to me:

Im 14DPO today and AF is also due today.
Tested BFN on FRer 12DPO so thought I was out.
Then yesterday (13DPO) partner and I DTD for funzies and I had bright red bleeding straight after. Thought it was AF. Put in a tampon and went to sleep.
Then this morning I woke up and the tampon was totally nothing (sorry TMI).
It's now 9:30pm here in Melbourne, and still no more AF.

Is there a chance it was implantation bleeding? Is 13DPO typically too late for that?

@Curlywurly3 assuming I'm out this month, I'd be due for AF on the 26th Dec too!
Fingers and everything else crossed for Christmas BFPs for us

ajayelbee · 30/11/2021 10:18

@SantiagoSister thank you lovely. And you’re very welcome. My private messages are open any time if you want to chat about anything.

Here is my progression this morning..! So glad your line is getting darker too! It feels good to finally be poas and being able to see that line!

SantiagoSister · 29/11/2021 18:30

Hi @Welliboots, sorry to hear about the BFN today. Don’t lose hope just yet though, you’re not out till AF arrives as the saying goes! Really hoping this is your month as you’re unable to TTC the next couple of months, I can imagine you feel a lot of pressure. Hope you have lots to do to keep you busy until Friday, I tried to keep really busy in my TWW and it really helped.

Welliboots · 29/11/2021 15:58

Congratulations to those who have had their BFPs ❤️

I'm 9DPO and tested this morning with a ClearBlue digital ultra early test - BFN. I know 9DPO is early to test, but I'm only 4 days from expected AF now so was hopeful that an early test might give me some good news.

I recently found out that if I'm not pregnant this month, we can't try again for at least the next couple of cycles, so I'm really hoping I'll get my BFP this weekend! 🤞🏻

I'm going to try not to test again until at least Friday, when AF is due. I just want this week over with now!

SantiagoSister · 29/11/2021 14:28

That sounds like a plan @ajayelbee! They can advise you best on the next steps 😊 looking forward to more progression for you tomorrow on your tests! I done another today and things are looking good so far with regards to the line getting darker 🤞🏼

Thank you so much for your kind words, you’re so right with it being debilitating sometimes. It can completely take over your life 😖 I’m sorry you suffer with this as well, it’s horrible. I’m so pleased you’ve been finding the acupuncture has really helped, I have heard great things about it. To be honest I’ve spent a lot of time in denial that I have anxiety, but I think since losing my little one it really has got worse, and I need to face up to it and try some things to keep it in check. I will look into the acupuncture and other means to help me feel a bit calmer, thank you ❤️
