@FruityPop this is my first time properly trying, so I am trying not to be too disappointed if it doesn't work out right away since I know getting it first try is pretty rare. I have been obsessively reading everything about conception and pregnancy for months now tho, haha.

Having a bit of mild cramps today and I dreamt that I got my period and that there was blood everywhere! I had to rush immediately to the bathroom when I woke up and thankfully everything is still ok, not even spotting. Still worried about the cramps.

@Whoknew22 Maybe you are meant to have a Christmas miracle! Lots of baby dust for you!

Whoknew22 · 14/11/2021 06:38

Period arrived this morning. Actually ok about it. I’ve not had a period since I stopped pill at the end of September so taking comfort that things are getting back to normal and ovulation did occur.

Good luck to everyone. Maybe see some of you in the December thread (hopefully not though) xx

FruityPop · 13/11/2021 22:40

@CrumchyLeafs FMU next time, not sure what I was thinking today, I just couldn't resist checking. I'm going to try and hold off until Monday now, don't think I could handle another BFN tomorrow. Hopefully AF doesn't show before Monday.

I hope you feel better soon and have that bun cooking away! How long have you been trying?

CrumchyLeafs · 13/11/2021 22:23

@FruityPop don't get discouraged from an afternoon wee! I am wishing you best of luck for the next test with FMU!

My headache from caffeine withdrawal has finally stopped, that was absolutely miserable! 3DPO today and feeling very exhausted and HOT! I know that the temperature rise is good and supposed to happen, but I feel like a proper oven, hopefully a baby oven with a bun in it! Also breaking out and having very sore nipples, but I know that is just from the progesterone rising.

FruityPop · 13/11/2021 21:00

@Essexnewbie I'm thinking it may be too early, 13 DPO but I didn't test in the morning. I guess I will just need to be patient for another few days.
I wish you lots of luck, I hope you have a good hobby to pass the time during the TWW, I definitely need one.

Essexnewbie · 13/11/2021 20:55

Welcome @FruityPop! I’ll be starting the TWW next weekend for the first time and I’m already dreading it. Could it still be too early to test and maybe it will change in a few days? This is my first month trying but I’ve read lots of cases of negative tests and then a whole week later the positive comes. Wishing you lots of luck!

FruityPop · 13/11/2021 20:26

*now convinced AF will be here any minute

FruityPop · 13/11/2021 20:21

Hi, everyone, just wanted to jump in and say hi. I've been lurking on this thread for a while, it's nice to hear I'm not alone in this god awful tww. I was determined not to test until Mon/Tue, AF due on Mon, but caved and tested this afternoon, BFN, but used afternoon urine and quite early. Disappointed and I'm not convinced AF will be here any minute.
Good luck to everyone, it's a horrible wait isn't it.

SantiagoSister · 13/11/2021 20:08

That sounds like a good idea @gvs97, that’ll give a good amount of time to see if the line comes up a bit darker by then. It must be worrying not knowing where you stand with this FRER, I don’t know what’s going on with them but just now a lady on another forum has just got a bad indent line on her FRER, it’s even pink! 😩 she dipped a Superdrug early test in the same wee and it’s come up stark white negative. It’s so confusing and upsetting, I’ve got some ready for my TWW but I’m worried about using them now, I don’t think I could cope with the upset of thinking I was pregnant for it to possibly only to an indent 😢 I wonder what’s going on with them, they used to be great tests. I look forward to your update, I hope your line just gets darker and darker! 🤞🏼 Having a lovely time away thank you, been for a nice dinner out and it took my mind off things for a few hours so that was lovely 😊 however I’ve just noticed some more EWCM now so back on the BDing this evening 😂🤞🏼

gvs97 · 13/11/2021 16:26

Thank you @SantiagoSister! The waiting is 100% the worst part but won't test again until earliest Monday/Tuesday so I can see if there is any line progression at all before calling the doctors. Definitely should not be getting a positive 4 weeks after an ERPC if it's not a new pregnancy and was told at the hospital to call if a home test was positive after 3 - obviously I didn't need to following the negative test after 2 weeks but I'm just very worried now the Waitrose test didn't pick something up that the FRER test is. Still have cramping too :( will keep you updated. Hope you are having a nice weekend away!

SantiagoSister · 13/11/2021 15:35

Thank you @Essexnewbie, out for some dinner this evening so hope that’ll take my mind off things for at least a couple of hours if I’m lucky 🙈😅 hope you manage to do something nice to relax and think of something else for a little while too!

@Natalie2304 I don’t know why we do it to ourselves lol I guess it’s just something we all want so badly so it’s natural for us to obsess over it 🙈

@gvs97 I can completely understand why you feel all those mixed emotions, I would have had the exact same thought process as you wondering if it was leftover HCG. Let’s hope it’s not and it’s your bfp! I guess the only way to know is having to wait a few more days and see the line progress, but that’ll be a killer trying to wait 😩 keeping fingers crossed for you!! I know frer’s are really being slated at the moment for terrible indent lines, but it seems like your line has a bit of colour to it? I feel for you, it must be so confusing 😔 hopefully things become clearer over the next few days!

gvs97 · 13/11/2021 14:23

@Natalie2304 thank you I think I will or even wait another couple days if I can! No idea to be honest if I ovulated. Wish I’d been tracking properly now but that’s hindsight for you

Natalie2304 · 13/11/2021 13:59

@SantiagoSister @Essexnewbie oh I'm definitely with you both on the every thought baby related. Even just cleaning the house thinking how I'll ever get time with a toddler and a baby 😂

@gvs97 I can definitely see the line and I'd advise just waiting until the morning and testing again to see if it gets darker. Do you know when you ovulated this time around?

gvs97 · 13/11/2021 13:09

BFP?!
What do we think?
I’ve been having PMS like symptoms for the last week very similar to when I was pregnant last time. However, this is my concern:
At 2 weeks post ERPC I took a pregnancy test and it was negative. It was a Waitrose own one I think so not sure how good they are supposed to be. Now a week later I’ve taken an Early Response and it’s a BFP I think. Could it be possible this more sensitive test is picking up left over pregnancy hormones from my miscarriage that the other test didn’t? Or deffo a new pregnancy? Any advice appreciated. Sorry for the ramble - lots of jumbled thoughts. Excited. Nervous. Still a bit cynical. Ah!

TTC NOVEMBER 2021
Essexnewbie · 13/11/2021 13:00

@SantiagoSister ahh I feel you on the waking up and not being able to get back to sleep. I somehow find a way to make everything I see or think of link to babies and it’s tormenting me 😂🙈 everything crossed that you get your peak reading soon! Hopefully this weekend 🤞🏼 Nothing worse than the waiting, I hope you have lots to keep distracted with in the meantime to give you some peace from thinking! X

SantiagoSister · 13/11/2021 12:22

@Hayls07 sorry to hear of your BFN so far, fingers crossed that’ll change when you test tomorrow! It’s so hard not to test every day isn’t it 😩 good luck for tomorrow, let us know how you get on ✨

@Essexnewbie it’s so hard not to let it be all consuming isn’t it. I woke up at 5am this morning and started thinking about all things baby and couldn’t get back to sleep, shattered now lol I don’t know why we do it to ourselves! Aw thanks so much, really hoping I ovulate soon as I’m getting so impatient now, I’m wondering if my clearblue monitor has maybe missed my ovulation or maybe I’m going to ovulate later than I expect, as I still haven’t seen my peak reading yet. Frustrating! Baby dust back to you too ❤️✨

Essexnewbie · 13/11/2021 10:16

@Hayls07 haha very impressive restraint getting OH to hide the test! I’d have to do the same. Fingers crossed for you 💘🤞🏼

Essexnewbie · 13/11/2021 10:14

@SantiagoSister thank you! It is very exciting but I must admit, I thought when we got to this point I’d feel all relaxed and just happy to be trying but I’m thinking about it more than ever!! But yes I feel like everyday would be too much for us, we’re already massively upping the ante as it is! Sending you lots of baby dust for this weekend!! X

Hayls07 · 13/11/2021 09:47

I tested yesterday got a BFN, AF isnt due until Tuesday so I'm still holding out hope! Gonna test again tomorrow morning, trying not to test today because I've only one test left 😂 good OH to hide it so I'm not tempted haha. Only thing I've noticed with me is sore boobs, but normal for me before a period, always I keep finding that I'm running a temperature even tho I'm not, I just feel hot all the time. Good luck girls 💕

SantiagoSister · 12/11/2021 22:22

@newjourney21 that sounds like a good plan to me! May as well try and see what happens, you never know, it could all work out before you ever have your first period! 🤞🏼 How exciting, wishing you all the luck! For me, this is my first month TTC after my little one was stillborn earlier in the year. I’m hoping to ovulate around this weekend sometime, so fingers crossed we catch this month 🤞🏼

Thank you so much @gvs97 and @Natalie2304 Smile

@Bubsoneandtwo that sounds quite promising as it’s not what you usually expect before your AF. I wonder if you have recently implanted and need a few more days for a test to show as positive? I’ve seen on a few other groups people not getting their bfp’s until 3-4 days after their missed period.. fingers crossed for you!

Bubsoneandtwo · 12/11/2021 20:34

I never ever get PP before AF

Bubsoneandtwo · 12/11/2021 20:34

I am 12 DPO and app is saying I am due on in the next 3 days.
Period pains all week to the point I have thought there would be something there. Now all I have is a yellow discharge..really unusual for me but only getting BFNs

Natalie2304 · 12/11/2021 20:17

@CrumchyLeafs I hope you managed to get rid of your headache and if not a nice warm bath might help??

@SantiagoSister oooh how lovely! I hope you have a relaxing weekend away ☺️

@newjourney21 I'm really sorry I can't help much on that. I've not been on any birth control for about 6 years and just used withdrawal method. Hopefully it doesn't long to get into it and maybe you'll never find out your cycle! Fingers crossed!

@Rachipops yep still early for you so still plenty of chance and the sickness is always a good sign! If not definitely enjoy your birthday next weekend. But what a lovely birthday present if you are!!
I'm doing ok thank you. Only on 2DPO so a while to wait yet but feeling optimistic.
I've had a positive OPK and had DTD twice before and once the day after...all 2 days apart so hopefully that will be enough. Don't want to put too much pressure on DH as it took long enough to persuade him to try with a testing 2 year old!

gvs97 · 12/11/2021 20:02

@SantiagoSister enjoy your time away! :)

@newjourney21 I had a regular AF one month after withdrawal bleed after coming off the pill. I was on it for around 2 years. I was expecting a lot worse tbh but it didn't feel much different to a withdrawal bleed and lasted the same duration as well. I conceived the month after. Fingers crossed for you!

newjourney21 · 12/11/2021 19:25

@SantiagoSister

Hi *@newjourney21* 👋🏽 I’m not sure what the official guidance is, but I had my withdrawal bleed from stopping my pill the first time we wanted to TTC, and I waited until my next cycle to then start TTC, I just wanted to see what my cycle would do naturally and have an idea of how long my cycles were etc as I had been on the pill for 10 years so had no clue! But I’m guessing it wouldn’t do any harm if you did fall pregnant before you had your first period, I would assume if your body just wasn’t ready yet then you wouldn’t get pregnant that month?
Hello! Yes this it what my thinking is, I would like to know what my natural cycle is like, I have been on the pill for 10 years too. I have had period like symptoms today so assuming my withdrawal is on its way in the next day or so then after was just going to start straight away as I'm just so excited! If it happens it happens if it doesn't then like you say perhaps my body is just not ready! Whereabouts are you on your journey?
