Cycle 8, CD 26, 10DPO

Did a boots test this morning, thought I could see something very faint but decided I was misleading myself.

Looked at it 12 mins after (it’s supposed to be a five minute test) and I got this. Unsure if this is the dreaded evaporation line.

I guess I will wait until tomorrow then try again.

Kind of new here, don't really know my way around yet but I have a question.
TTC, ovulation day was 12 days ago and I don't have any symptoms. No nausea, no spotting, no cramps.
Do I still have a chance, is it possible to not experience any symptom and be preggo?
I will test during the weekend so one more week to go through.

I hate to symptom spot but I've just had a realisation from my first pregnancy...both yesterday and tomorrow i've had a really heightened sense of smell. This is something I got in my first pregnancy before getting my BPF. I'm only 5DPO so still really early and I don't want to get my hopes up but it's hard not to! It's something I've never experienced at any other time!

@gvs97 yeah definitely hasn’t got fainter so that’s a good sign. It could just be very early. Hopefully if you can leave it a few days you’ll get a good strong line.

@gvs97 yea I'd just wait a few days. Definitely hasn't got fainter which is always good and from evap lines I've had before they haven't been that clear if I remember rightly xx

I’m 6dpo today and just feel all over just woke after 8 hours sleep and still feel shattered. :( I’m far too early! Maybe ovulation was earlier than I think but my last period was the 28th October:/ so confused

How many days are between them? I’d wait couple of days and retest even tho I know the wait is horrific!

Here are pics side by side. I have got some Waitrose cheapies but will hold out another couple of days to try them as they say on the leaflet they are only accurate from the first day of a missed period which would be Wednesday in theory. Fingers crossed this is a new pregnancy but not feeling too optimistic yet!

@gvs97 I am so sorry to hear that. Could you try a different brand? I found a boots cheap one to be really good last time. Xx

To be honest I am not sure as I had a missed miscarriage and ERPC last month so I hadn’t been tracking anything. It will be 4 weeks since the operation tomorrow so maybe I ovulated after the bleed finished at around 10-14 days?

@gvs97 I can see the line though lovely, maybe test in a couple of days? How many dpo are you? Xx

These tests are a minefield! sorry to hear people’s negative experiences.

I caved in and tester again FMU this morning. If anything the line looks fainter. That’s put me in a great mood for work! Not sure what to do :( all this waiting is so horrible.

@WorriedD93 I am so sorry you went through that, the worry never stops does it? Just have to put positivity out to the universe. I lost my mum suddenly in April when my youngest was 6 weeks old so I just feel this one will be a gift sent from her but don’t want to put too much on myself and be upset if it’s not meant to be just yet. I think I’ll leave it till the weekend although I’m going out to a friends 40th so would like to know if I’m the taxi. Xx

@Billymay I’ve got cheap tests from Amazon which gave me a BFP on with my ectopic pregnancy on cd27 I also have a clear blue but not going to test until I get positive from cheapies. Maybe test in a week. When are you planning on testing? It’s my boobs making me believe I am, I had this with both pregnancies. Just scary in case it’s another ectopic if I am XX

@WorriedD93 I’m 6dpo. This 2ww is long especially when any twinges or feelings you have you think maybe I could be… will you be testing? I’ve bought 4 tests from boots as they gave me a positive after 9dpo last pregnancy.

@Billymay I know that’s how I’m thinking I thought my boobs hurt last month but they obviously didn’t because how they are now, I’m only 5dpo. Yourself?

@WorriedD93 I just said to a friend maybe I have this every month but I’m just paying more attention this time round? How many dpo are you?
@HeyDuddy we are trying with #3 and as for those tests I just can’t believe it, absolutely dreadful that you had to go through that.

We did and the response but very underwhelming. I checked the reviews for quite a while after and they were still selling them despite me warning Amazon and reporting them to trading standards. It was a third party seller but the whole thing was a nightmare.

It’s so nerve racking isn’t it. Mine feels like I a heavy feeling near my pelvis. It’s a dull feeling but I usually get horrific period pains but not until the day of AF

Hey everyone. Do you mind if I join this thread? I’m currently 6dpo and my husband is no longer listening to my symptom spotting. I feel crampy and hoping this is a good sign but you just never know do you?? Hope everyone is well. Xxx

@WorriedD93 Same as me! My cramps were kind of gone most of the day but now they are back, but they are unlike any cramps I ever had before. It feels like a very dull but mild aching pain, kind of like someone is pulling on my uterus. I really hope it's not gonna go on all week because I will be paranoid about incoming AF the entire time. I keep checking for blood and cervical position.
DH has been kissing my stomach already and is very excited, I don't want him to be disappointed, but I warned him it will probably not happen on the first try.

@gvs97 Yeah I thought FRER were the best tests? I ordered them from England just because I read it here, haha. Took a week to get them! I thought the pink dye ones were supposed to be reliable and the clearblue gives the indents.. oh well.
