@alexalexalex18 one of my friends took ages to get a positive pregnancy test to the point she was late having her period and was going to the doctors and then she got her positive. I know it’s deflating and if my af shows next week I’ll be gutted but maybe Christmas will be the time? We just need to trust that when the time is right it will happen and put it to the universe. I’ve got another 3 tests so will keep testing just for the hell of it. Xxx

There’s no sign of period, if it happened, implantation was late and I read it takes a while for hcg to rise in these conditions.

I've started with sore boobs today. I'm sure usually they don't hurt until day before AF is due which isn't until Sunday. It's also a different kind of hurt, more on top and heavy if you get me. Maybe just reading into things 🤞🏻 not though! Due to test Saturday and the amount of times I've nearly caved and tested wayyy to early is ridiculous 😂

@CrumchyLeafs I hear you.. it’s ovulation day today for me and I’m already feeling impatient 😂 I’ll be tearing my hair out come 7DPO! I guess all we can do is keep busy and distracted to try and make the time to faster 🤞🏼

@alexalexalex18 so sorry to hear the test was negative, I am really surprised with all your symptoms you have been having. They say you still have a chance until AF arrives, so there is still time for your bfp. Like @WorriedD93 says, it might just be that your HCG isn’t high enough to detect yet, as every body releases different levels at different times in the early days. I’m still keeping my fingers crossed for you 🤞🏼

The app did say to test first on Saturday but I just knew that my period won't come at 28 days (tomorrow) even if I wasn't ttc.
I regret testing today so much...

Girls, don't test early. This frustration is not worth it.

So hcg doubles every 48 hours after implantation, don’t panic as it’s only been 2 days your hcg would probably still be too low xxx

Just tested after 4 h of holding my pee, day 13 or 14 PO.
Negative :(

Is there still any chance?

Temperature is high, 37,08, I had implantation spotting :(

Congrats to everyone who got a BFP! I can't believe I am only 7DPO, time just doesn't want to go by! I could swear it has been two weeks already!

No problem at all @Billymay, I found it really helpful and wanted to share the link as it’s reassuring to know you’re not definitely out if you get a negative test when testing early. @alexalexalex18 you amaze me that you’ve been able to hold off this long! Well done! I would absolutely test tonight if you feel comfortable doing so. Your symptoms sound so positive. The metallic taste I’ve heard is quite a common symptom of early pregnancy, I’m really excited to find out how you get on, best of luck for your bfp! ✨

Keep testing, maybe if you manage to hold your pee tonight or definitely with first pee in the morning.

@alexalexalex18 thanks that’s really helpful ☺️ This is the first cycle I’ve been tracking anything at all, so I don’t even have a complete month of BBT to look at, but it hasn’t gone up yet even a little bit.

I’ve been doing the OPKs since CD7, currently CD14 and my cycles are 27-29 days in length. So I was expecting a peak OPK reading yesterday or today. Perhaps I’ve just missed it this month, or it’s not happened yet! You don’t think the thin dark line on my tests above is a peak positive? It’s darker in real life, but just so very thin!

A thing that could help track ovulation is using an app where you input your basal temperature every morning the second you wake up.
I use Natural Cycles.

Usually when you ovulate there is a spike in temperature and if you keep tracking and the temperature doesn't lower before you get your period, it means pregnancy.
Ofc you need to input data for a while for it to pick up on how your body works but it gives you a better chance to know when ovulation is near and to know when to test.

A good bet is to start using ovulation strips a week after your period, cause you can start ovulating as soon as 10 days from when it begins. It depends how long your cycle is and how your eggs mature.
It's better to start tracking with strips before you think you're ovulating so you won't miss your window.

@alexalexalex18 ovulation, yes. I held my pee for about 3 hours for that one and tired to drink less than I normally do. But I get such bad headaches I have to drink something! Honestly. I’m so confused by it all!

Is that for ovulation?
Be careful to not use diluted urine. Hold your pee for a few hours, you normally have to test twice per day to get an accurate reading. The peak can disappear fast.

I read that if it's not morning pee for testing then I need to hold it for at least 4 hors, going cray here
