@Billymay yeah it really sucks waiting for your period, even with BFN it is hard to give up hope until AF shows up properly. I am 12DPO and caved and did my last FRER because hadn't had a lot of water and my crazy brain was like "can't let this highly concentrated pee go untested! This must be it!" but BFN of course and instantly sad again. Also more brown spotting and cramping today so I think AF will rear her head soon. Really don't want to do this another month, I don't know how people who have been trying longer are doing it without going insane.

WorriedD93 · 22/11/2021 19:05

Evening everyone, so cd 26 today, my average day for AF to appear, I tested yesterday and still negative, my cycle can vary by a couple of days, I’m just waiting to see if it appears before I test again but no cramping which I usually get beforehand,

Congratulations @HA22 xxx

ali2021 · 22/11/2021 18:35

Thanks for the welcome, @Essexnewbie and @SantiagoSister - I think I may be possibly only one day ahead of you both! I had a static smiley last mon 15th, so presume O-day was on Tues 16th, which would put me at 6dpo today. BD Mon and Tues, fingers crossed that was enough!

So exciting to see the BFPs popping up on the group. Congrats, @HA22 - what a strong positive! I'm sorry for anybody who is disappointed. It is so hard. I always find it's a day or two after AF arrives which I find very upsetting. I'm a junior school teacher, so find things like morning drop off and pick ups so sad in those days after AF appears!

Nature really is so cruel that PMS and early pregnancy symptoms are so similar. I already think I'm out for this month, as the back ache and cramps have persisted, although AF not due for another 8days. I also have CM which always appears for me before AF!

Billymay · 22/11/2021 18:33

@CrumchyLeafs I’m 13dpo so due tomorrow and I’m generally always regular.. what the bets i won’t be now I’m ttc 🙄

CrumchyLeafs · 22/11/2021 14:36

@SantiagoSister Haha, DH said the exact same thing! That I must be pregnant and my immune system lower, especially since he didn't catch it. He is forever an optimist, which really makes me feel better.

@Billymay How many DPO are you? Sorry about the negative test, hun.

@Curlywurly3 Well the days before O are most important! I'm sure it will be fine, crossing fingers for you! Glad you had a nice chat with DH, it is important that he helps you and supports you in this!

Billymay · 22/11/2021 14:21

Thanks @SantiagoSister it’s a bfn here. Roll on af so we can start again. Xx

Curlywurly3 · 22/11/2021 13:17

Morning everyone, DH and I had a good chat last night and I ended up getting a little upset. We had already agreed to try for DC2 but I’m definitely more excited than he is about it all. Anyway, we DTD a few times before O but not on the day of O or the day after. Also, I’m not entirely sure I O’d on that day and feel it might have been a day later. I know there is still a chance but our chat has definitely helped and if it hasn’t worked this month, I feel like I have his support going forward. Since starting to TTC last month we haven’t spoken about it, we both just knew why I was all of a sudden jumping on him more than usual. Prime example of why communicating is so important 🤦🏼‍♀️ So, I’m either 2DPO or 3DPO.
Looking forward to seeing some BFP’s this week!

SantiagoSister · 22/11/2021 10:55

Good luck for your last test later @Billymay🤞🏼

Billymay · 22/11/2021 10:52

Af due tomorrow and last night had the worst pains that took my breath away and was certain I would be on this morning but nothing. I’ve got one last test so will do it later, I feel like if I do it, it will probably encourage my af to hurry up so we can get on to next month of ttc. Hope you girlies in the 2ww it goes quick for you and congrats to anyone with bfps. Xxx

SantiagoSister · 22/11/2021 10:51

Morning @ajayelbee! I’m glad to hear you have lots planned for this week/weekend to help keep your mind off things. I’m hoping to be able to keep busy enough to pass the time this week too. Me and @Essexnewbie are 5DPO now, thinking positive and imagining implantation happening in the next few days, a bit of manifestation can’t hurt 🤞🏼

@CrumchyLeafs great, glad you have some different ones on order now, at least you have them handy if you do decide to test. Sorry to hear you’ve come down with something, that’s not nice. Hope you feel better soon. Take it with a pinch of salt but two other ladies on a different forum I am on got really sick a few days after conception, the rationale being that your body lowers your immune system to accept a new pregnancy which in turn means you’re more likely to come down with something at the same time. Let’s hope that’s the case for you too 🤞🏼

CrumchyLeafs · 22/11/2021 09:28

@SantiagoSister I ordered some different brand of early response tests, they had good reviews so we will see! DPO12 today, not testing today. I have not decided yet if I will test again tomorrow or just wait for AF.. found out my high temperatures were actually a fever and I have been sick last night, found some swollen Lymph nodes and been having joint pain so I assume it is a cold or flu or something. Sad This really has been the worst TWW.

ajayelbee · 22/11/2021 08:47

Morning everyone!

Sorry to everyone who’s out.. hopefully next month you’ll all get the best Christmas present! ✨

@HA22 congratulations! What a strong BFP!

3dpo now… luckily I’ve got such a busy week ahead and we’re away over the weekend, so hopefully that will take my mind off of it all!

I can’t wait to see some more BFPs on here this week ☺️

SantiagoSister · 21/11/2021 23:57

@Essexnewbie I’m glad your weekend has gone fast too! Ah the dreaded feeling 😔 yes definitely, we have to view it as the week we will start testing, and that’s a nice exciting thing to look forward to (hopefully!) 🤞🏼 Lol I guess you never know until it’s testing time how you will feel.. I guess it’ll be good to have some cheapies on hand for if you maybe change your mind 😊

Essexnewbie · 21/11/2021 21:26

@SantiagoSister glad your weekend has gone quickly! Mine has too actually thankfully, although I am getting some Sunday night dread and anxiety creeping in now…but at least next week is the week we can try and test! I have a feeling I might change my tune about the testing when it actually comes to it so I might buy some of those cheap tests in case 😂

Lua2020 · 21/11/2021 21:16

Thank you @SantiagoSister

Good luck @Lua2020, it sounds like you’ve covered all bases, hope this is your month 🤞🏼

@HA22 congratulations!! That’s brilliant, you must be over the moon. I’m not sure if it works the same in all areas, but in my area you can self refer to your local midwives at the hospital who will get you booked in for your first appointment when you’re around 8-9 weeks along. Your lines look normal to me for 11DPO!

@CrumchyLeafs ah that would make sense then with you being in Europe, but still, 2 weeks sounds so long in this day and age doesn’t it! Do you think you’ll order some more cheapies or just wait for potential AF now?

Lua2020 · 21/11/2021 20:48

@HA22 congratulations 🎉

@SantiagoSister across the pond. I think they are manufactured in England but I live in mainland Europe.

HA22 · 21/11/2021 20:26

how dark are the lines for 11dpo
would you say that is norma?? xxx

HA22 · 21/11/2021 20:25

11DPO today and look what we have here
omg could not believe it!!! so grateful everything works down there and DH as well!!
this is our first, what do we even do next????
in terms of symptoms
a bit of back ache and period cramping around 8dpo
but since then just sore boobs similar to what i'd get one week before my period
also felt a bit sick this morning but i tend to feel sick when i haven't eaten for a while and in all fairness i don't eat much anyways so that wasn't too unusual
omg guys i can't believe it
(posting this on 2 ttc threads i've been following) xxx

SantiagoSister · 21/11/2021 19:43

Wow that’s so frustrating @CrumchyLeafs 😩 what a nightmare, especially when you’re waiting on them to test, it’s already an impatient time. Can I ask where it is you live out of interest, two weeks for FRER delivery is beyond a joke 🙄

CrumchyLeafs · 21/11/2021 19:30

I ordered some more early tests (not FRER cause the delivery takes like 2 weeks) and paid extra to receive them the next day (yesterday). The driver was "5 stops away" and suddenly the delivery was cancelled because apparently I was not home, even tho I was right here waiting for the doorbell. So I contacted Amazons customer support and they said they would send him out again and that they would be here by 10pm yesterday. At midnight I decided to give up waiting. They never came. Today I cancelled the order. I think this must be a sign, haha. Still pissed tho.

SantiagoSister · 21/11/2021 19:10

Aw no problem at all @gvs97, wishing you all the best, hoping next month is your month! ✨

Welcome @ali2021 and @Welliboots! Hope you find this thread as supportive as I do, it’s so nice to be amongst like-minded people all going through the same journey. Wishing you both all the best!

Sorry to hear you’re out this month @MummyBear405 and @Natalie2304 😔 here’s hoping for your bfps next month 🤞🏼

@Essexnewbie hope your weekend has gone quickly! Thankfully I’ve been busy and it has flown past for me luckily, hope it has for you too. Hoping next week doesn’t feel like an eternity for us 😂 I feel the same about the FRERs being quite expensive, so I have ordered the easy@home tests from Amazon, I think they were £7 for 20 tests. As I know I will not have your willpower and I will need to test every day after Friday until AF arrives 😂 I have 4 FRERs in the draw too but I’m going to try not to use all of them lol x

alexalexalex18 · 21/11/2021 18:49

@Billymay

I think I will start using ovulation strips from day 10.
I prefer spending a bit more on this and not missing my window then wasting another month
