Hey ladies, I'm spending sooo much money each month on pregnancy tests... i think I'm addicted to peeing on sticks 😅 how early have you ladies actually got a positive test? My af is due in 6 days and i been testing all week - knowing its way to early but getting so disheartened seeing just the one line :( when should i start testing really?

@emmilyb welcome to the thread ! :D
Was the FRER the first one you did (8DPO) or the last one you did (10DPO)?
I can see a line on all of them! Did they all come up within the time frame?
If you have anymore FRER I'd do one with FMU or on a 4HH to check!

  • clear blue can leave some evil evap lines and FRER seem to be leaving cruel indent lines !!
With your added symptoms it looks like a good sign! :D fingers crossed this is your BFP! 🤞

I tested again this morning with FMU on a FRER and got another vvvfl, no different to yesterday's... I could see it within a minute or so but I'm pretty sure what I'm getting is indent lines as there is 0 progression !

@Stallsey how are you this morning did you do another test? 🤞 hoping you have a more positive outcome 🌸

Hey everyone sorry to jump on but this is the only thread I've found relating to me that wasn't in 2016😫🤣

I'm 10dpo now (know ovulation dates because only day we dtd 🙈)

Tested Wednesday- faint positive 8dpo
Tested Thursday- faint positive 9dpo
Tested today at 10dpo and digital is negative and lines seem fainter than before😫 I've attached pictures what do you think can you see anything?

Only reason I tested at 8dpo is because boobs are achy and had the same with my 1st born.

That's what I mean, it was about 46 hours between my first and this one and there isn't much if any improvement :( ill test again in the morning anyway but it just doesn't feel right!
I look forward to seeing yours in the morning too!! 🤞🤞 xxx

@StillJustWaiting yeah I get what you mean, but I can see a line there so you're not imagining it! So it's either a vfl or indent, they say hcg is meant to double every 48 hours though so maybe try again in the morning? Fingers crossed! Xxx

@Stallsey your line would make perfect sense for how many DPO you are!
I wonder if its any darker now?
I think I can see a little pink ish but its so faint i just don't know... the annoying part is I'm not sure if I'm convincing myself of something thats not there... if that makes any sense at all..
I got a negative CB ultra early digital this morning, and i think they're supposed to be super sensitive so my bet is on that mine is an indent...
I think since my first vfl (Wednesday afternoon) to now it should be quite a bit darker right?

@StillJustWaiting AF is due Tuesday, I'm still only 10dpo so quite early.
My line is the same colour as yours, I can defo see a line on yours! Does it have colour to it? Very promising that it's not with FMU and not even an hour hold.
I am going to pick up some more tests tonight, couple of packs of FRER & the CB ultra early digital because if the line does progress I'm not telling DH until a digital says so!
I can defo see a line on yours though, fingers crossed we don't have indents!!

@Stallsey you have so much will power! Ive just been and bought MORE frer 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️
When is af due? Eek I'm quite excited for you... just for the chance ! :D
How faint was your line? Ive just done another FRER with no hold... other than the drive home from work - where I literally ran in the shop for more tests! So no longer than an hour hold and again got a vfl... although it is still super super super faint and almost impossible to get a pic of, i think its a bit more there today than yesterday and the day before!! What do you girls think? Be totally honest with me if you think its the same as before, more or if you cant see it at all?
I don't know anymore if i want it that bad I'm fooling myself into thinking I see a line !
I'm gonna post a few pics on two posts because i can only add 3 at a time.. I've funky coloured them with the test app - ill post the original as well as the coloured

Hiii guys,

So sorry to hear you both think af is coming, like you say it's such an stressful time not knowing 😢
I haven't tested today, I thought there wasn't much point with just getting vvvvfl, need to wait abit longer to see if it's darker or not! Plus I was up most of the night with this cough so not really thinking straight! Will probably test again when DH is back from his work trip this weekend!
Thinking about you both!! And praying for good news

@WhatTheEll exactly that, with my new cycles i have no idea when i ovulate , when I'm due on, nothing ! Its so frustrating!!
Cramps have totally gone again now, it was one cramp 😅😂
I do just want it over and done with now! Although I also feel an element of 'Don't care' too !
Hopefully next cycle is the one for all 3 of us!!! Xxxx

@WhatTheEll it's just awful, well before my MC & D&C in march i had religious 28 day cycles not a day early or late but they haven't gone back to normal since!
There is still some hope for you then! Hopefully its just a little implantation spotting !
For me age shouldn't a factor I'm 23 OH is 30,
Ive just now started getting some light af cramps again! So maybe she is on her way!xxx

@StillJustWaiting I'm sorry too sweets!:( it's horrible being in limbo isn't it? We're literally opposite in that you have long cycles and mine don't go over 25/26 days but we're in the same situation. Mine being so short, means my luteal phase doesn't seem to stretch past 9/10DPO before spotting starts. I've tried lots to try and lengthen it. My last two pregnancies that ended in miscarriages, I had spotting that made me think it was AF and then it stopped after 1-2 days, then I tested. Such a change from my first successful pregnancy. I'm 35 - wondering if age is a factor!! How old are you? Xx

@WhatTheEll I'm so sorry lovely! :( this is supposed to be an exciting, joyful experience but its proving to be the complete opposite!
I literally have no AF symptoms yet at all which is bazar as I usually know AF is coming a full week before it actually arrives... if i go over today CD37 then it will be my longest cycle yet!
At least if AF is coming for you, you can get back to it asap! Xxx

@Stallsey did you retest this morning? 25mlU is much less sensitive that FRER, i think you're in luck 😍 What did you get?! :D I tested with digital NOT PREGNANT :( oh well, i should definitely get a positive by now if i was pregnant 😩
CD37 and still no sign of AF ... i just want it to hurry now if its going to come... I think I'm going to take a break from trying for a little while, its so hurtful
I feel so so so fed up 😭
But then again i say this every cycle then can't help myself but keep trying 'just incase '

@WhatTheEll right, I'm going to give up "trying" and just go with it.... along side drinking gallons of grapefruit juice 😅😂
In all honesty I didn't keep track of CM this cycle, i have been so fixed on tracking EWCM for MONTHS that this cycle i just thought stuff it! And went all out DYD as MUCH as possible 😅 i don't think we have ever DTD as much as we have this cycle, not for a few years anyway 😂😂

@StillJustWaiting BLIMEY!! I'd be sick of it too if we'd done it that much!!! Did you have EWCM on every day when you DTD? I would save it up and DTD when your CM is at its peak! I've heard grapefruit juice helps the production/levels of CM xx

@StillJustWaiting I've just checked the instructions and it says 25mlU/ml can be detected, they're Boots own strip tests.
Not going to lie... I have just done a FRER and a vfl came up within 1 min, it's not got any darker after 3 mins. I have tried for 10 mins to take a pic but you can't see it, I'm going to do another in the morning so I think we might know for sure by then xxx

@Stallsey ummmm I don't think pink dye tests evap lines have any colour in them, should be grey in colour if its an evap (I believe)... yours looks a bit pink to me??
You are so patient, after seeing that i would 100% be POAS by now 😅😂
What tests are they? Ill try find the sensitivity too? :D
I will of course update in the morning, I cant wait to see your update too!!

@WhatTheEll if I'm honest with you, I'm not far off giving up trying myself, it gets me so down sometimes!! But yes i need to give it my all and try absolutely everything before actually giving up!
I really really really tried this month though so feel quite fed up! Sorry if its TMI but we DTD cycle days 7,8,9,11,12,13,14,15,17,18,20,21,22,23,24,25,27,28,29,31,33,34 -- and now I'm sick of it 😂😂

Im now CD36 ....

I feel like i must have DTD around ovulation this month! And still no luck!! Xxx

@StillJustWaiting I'd be doing the exact same as you. If you don't at least try something out, then you'll never know/can rule things out. For me, when I was tracking everything, I saw it as building a picture in case I needed fertility help in the future. Although I've totally given up! Haha. Mainly due to stress, and I checked my progesterone and all good, plus two mc in the space of 4 months means it IS possible. ♥️

@StillJustWaiting Well... it's the one I took this morning. I dipped it, waited and checked with my phone screen light while my husband was sleep because I didn't want to turn on the light! I then threw it in my drawer 😬 so I might not have looked at it properly but I can't say for sure! I was half sleep!
I've tried to find out the sensitivity but I can't find it anywhere!?

@WhatTheEll a few of the ladies from another thread I follow! They said if i have irregular periods then OPK's wont work for me, but they also said tracking BBT might be pointless for that same reason... i mean I'm all for giving it a good go! I feel like those are the only things left to try!! Xxx
