Looking for some positive vibes from others that have been through similar 💫I had a miscarriage in June, had my first period last month. Tracked ovulation and ttc straight away this month, feeling deflated as af has arrived right on time tonight 😢

@Skl2021 I know what you mean, the waiting is the worst part. I had to stop myself testing everyday as it was just making me feel worse. I tried to get myself as healthy as possible whilst I was waiting and getting all my vitamins in so I felt like I wasn't wasting time as such, so that I was as ready as I could be when I was ready to try again.

I was worried my period was going to be bad too but it was a weird one actually, started by spotting for 2 days which I never have, then 2 days of normal bleeding then spotted for about another 4 or 5 days, no pains or real clots which I was expecting!

SkaterChick · 03/11/2021 18:38

Also TTC after MC.
I MC at 6 weeks early October, bled for about 10 days, got neg test at the hospital and cleared to start ttc again whenever my cycles starts back up.
Started getting lots of ewcm last week, first 2 days I got neg opks and theb the ewcm stopped, then came back super heavy and I got a faint line on the opk thurs and Fri, didn't test sat as I ran out and by the time I realised I was to busy to get to a shop!
But Friday the ovulation symptoms were going away anyway so hopefully thurs-fri was my peak.
Really wasn't expecting to ovulate so soon afterwards but DTD as much as we could when j started having symptoms.

I'm now about 5dpo, my app says to preg test in 7 days. But no predicted af date as I haven't had a period since the MC.
I'm also not getting my usual post ovulation/pre AF symptoms.
Usually my boobs are starting to get sore by now (was exact same when I got my bfp end of sept) but they're absolutely fine right now. However I have had a super servere acne breakout... I suffered with cystic acne as a teen and finally was able to get treatment when I was 23/24 and clearly not growing out of it.
The treatment worked great and ice had nothing but the odd spot here and there.
This weekend however I got about 12 massive angry cystic spots on my back, they look awful and they're SO painful.

I really hate the unknown of not knowing what going on and where in my cycle I am. I just want and to show up if she's going to before I got a bfn as I really don't want to see a neg test this soon after my loss.

Skl2021 · 03/11/2021 15:40

@Bellesjp my opks were positive around ten days after my miscarriage but I thought that was too early to ovulate as I was still bleeding aswell. Now there stil dark but not as strong as they were so I'm thinking it's just picking up the HCG in my system still. So it's pointless me using them to test as it's a false positive. Guess I will wait until af shows up. The wait and not knowing when it will arrive is giving me anxiety 😩 how bad was your period after? IV read lots of stories saying there heavy and painfull. I had bad heavy periods anyway so hoping it's not worse.

Bellesjp · 03/11/2021 15:24

@Skl2021 don't apologise I was the same searching for answers! I had a day of high opk in between my tfmr and period but didn't get a peak, not sure if I missed it or didn't ovulate, we didn't try before my period as I wanted to wait for my new cycle anyway so not sure. My period came 5 weeks and a day after my tfmr but was only about 10 days after my high opk so I'm thinking I didn't ovulate or had short LP.

I thought maybe anything that was left must have came out when I had my period hence getting a bfn but won't ever know I guess!

Skl2021 · 03/11/2021 15:03

@Bellesjp yes mines been about the same faintness for about 5 days now that's what was worrying me. Hopefully it will be negative soon I really don't want any procedure doing. Yes I don't think IV ever wanted to see a negative test as much as I do now. Did u notice if u ovulated before your period? My opks are quite dark but I'm guessing there picking up on the HCG still left. And how long did u get your period back? Glad your cycle has returned to normal! Sorry for all the questions no one tells you all this and your expected to just go through this on your own. It's really rubbish.

Bellesjp · 03/11/2021 13:24

@Skl2021 that's good that it's only showing on 10mu ones, hopefully it won't be long now. I have heard you can ovulate when it gets below a certain level but don't know if that's true or not. It's horrible to not want to see a bfp after all this time of praying for one isn't it. I was told it's normal to take up to 4 weeks so as long as it's getting fainter then hopefully you've not got any retained tissue.

Mine stayed very faint for a few weeks then I got my period and it was bfn, have ovulated today on cd18 of my new cycle which is normal for me so hoping it's gone back to normal now.

Skl2021 · 03/11/2021 12:56

@Bellesjp oh no I'm sorry. Such a crap position to be in getting positives for that long 😩 I'm testing negative on 20mu ones but positive in 10mu ones so I know it's low. I was just worried about there being retained tissue left. I had a natural miscarriage and haven't had any follow up scans or anything. Does this also mean I won't ovulate until tests go back to negative? I just want it all done now and try and move on. X

Bellesjp · 03/11/2021 12:52

Hi @Skl2021 I had tfmr at 12 weeks not miscarriage but my hcg tests took about 5 weeks to turn negative, I would test again in a week and it should be fainter/negative. It's really crap seeing bfp after even though you know you're not :(

Skl2021 · 03/11/2021 12:02

Hi ladies I am 2 weeks on since my MMC at ten weeks. The bleeding has now stopped however I'm still getting faint lines on pregnancy tests. Is it possible for this to decrease even tho I have stopped bleeding? Do I leave it until 3 weeks to test Or should I ring epu. I presumed once bleeding had stopped my test would be negative. So currently stuck in limbo. Thanks. X

Shortmamashortcycles · 03/11/2021 10:58

Oh @Kelb79, I know exactly what you mean about being in post-mc limbo. I'm so sorry.

I'm also so pleased you found your dog! I remember one of our pooches going walkabout when I was a kid and it was awful. So much stress!

Honestly mc makes it feel like the universe is out to get you - in the last few weeks our heating has broken twice, our house alarm has malfunctioned (went off constantly for several hours), I've had a cold and my daughter has had a cold and now a vomiting bug. Plus my husband has been working all hours on a horrible project, so I've had less support and am just so tired. TTC has been impossible and yet I'm so desperate to be pregnant again.

Sorry for the rant, and you're right, in the long run, these things are temporary. Good luck - I hope AF arrives soon so you can get out of limbo. ❤❤❤

Kelb79 · 03/11/2021 10:21

So much love to everyone 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
All of your stories break my heart completely but help me know that we’re not alone in this. The self judgement is the worst when it creeps in… why me? What’s wrong with me? What did I do wrong??? It helps to get rid of those doubts at least 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Still no sign of OV or AF - 5 weeks post D&C today so I guess it’s still early but I’m desperate to get back to normal and know where I am.

Just to add to the trauma my dog went missing at the weekend!! He’s been found thank god but it was 36 hours of constant searching, no sleep, not eating, terrible worry…. I’d forgotten how to hope and lost faith in happy endings but he got found!!! And he’s ok ❤️❤️❤️
Oddly, it’s kind of restored my faith in happy endings, I feel more hopeful because of it!

Believe ladies, our happy endings WILL come xxxxxxx

Beck208 · 02/11/2021 18:48

From the faint lines I was getting I was expecting to get a dark line but nothing at all now, this is my 2nd cycle after stillborn, and 9 days late for AF so confused, I mustn't be pregnant but when will this bloody AF show!

jackstini · 02/11/2021 17:13

Just wanted to add a message of hope

I had a MMC which was discovered at a 12 week scan, followed by a D&C 3 weeks later. 3 months after I got a BFP but unfortunately it was a chemical pregnancy

However, 4 months after that I got pregnant again and DS is 13 next month

Just wanted to wish you all loads of luck and I will be thinking of you

LacksAnyImaginationAtAll · 02/11/2021 15:02

I had a mmc 13 months ago, it took us 10 months to conceive. We've been trying again for the last 4 months and I'm on day 4 of my current cycle. I just find it so hard every month when AF arrives not to crumble a bit and just spend the days I'm on my period in bed feeling horribly sorry for myself.

I know that realistically we haven't been TTC for long this time considering how long it took us last time, as well as my age (nearly 37) and weight (I've been losing weight since my mmc but still have an obese BMI).

It's so hard - especially when everyone else in my life just seems to look at their partner and get pregnant. I've just had day 3 bloods and I've got an appointment for my day 21 bloods in a few weeks, so hopefully if I'm not pregnant again soon I can have some tests and find out a bit more about why.

NutsandPuffs · 02/11/2021 14:54

Hi everyone, I'd like to join this thread too, I have ready many of your posts and can relate to so many of your stories.

We are ttc #2, I am 38 and our DS just turned 3. We started ttc 18 months ago and have so far had four miscarriages all in the first trimester (the first after we had seen a heart beat)... we've also done one round of IVF but didn't even get any viable embryos (we did genetic testing for chromosomal abnormalities).

I've had all the usual fertility tests and the only known issue is low AMH and therefore crappy eggs. But I do know that some women with low AMH do have successful pregnancies.

We'll keep trying naturally (no more IVF), am currently 8dpo and not feeling at all pregnant. I'm taking coenzyme q10 and n acetyl cysteine, baby aspirin and progesterone also folic acid and vitamin b13. Have done some acupuncture. Don't drink much alcohol and hardly consume any caffeine. I know the chances of us having a second baby are slim to nil but keep hoping for miracle rainbow...

Sending baby dust to all of you and good luck on your journeys!

If anyone has any success stories of women with low AMH having babies I would really love to hear them please!

Got my peak OPK this morning!

We used conceive plus lube the month we conceived last time which is like preseed so have been using that again this month 🤞🏼

broodymamma · 02/11/2021 13:49

It's a sperm friendly lubricant.

Irishfarmer · 02/11/2021 09:59

@broodymamma congrats on the BFP!! What is preseed?

Tina12745 · 31/10/2021 20:50

Sorry for all your losses. I'm 40 and just had a dnc mid July for an mmc discovered at 9 weeks. I have had 2 cycles since and just tested yesterday at 9dpo (see image). I can't recommend preseed enough..... wishing you all the best of luck. I know how painful the waiting and hoping can be....

toadstool32 · 31/10/2021 00:41

So sorry to read these. I had 2 miscarriages last year. My consultant was just so lovely and did all the major bleed tests (clotting disorders etc) for me despite "only having 2". If you can get them done, it really helped me to ttc again in the knowledge that I felt strong and knew that my body was ok. I needed that reassurance to try again snd I'm now 22+2. I'm well aware things can still go wrong but I'm taking it a day at a time.

girlmummy25 · 31/10/2021 00:16

@Beck208 im so sorry for your loss. I can see the lines on those tests! Keep us updated.
Fingers crossed for you

PiggyBean · 29/10/2021 17:56

I would like to join too, had a mc early in the month. Just got my negative hpt recently so now we can start trying again.

Lots of baby dust to everyone here xx

Beck208 · 29/10/2021 13:33

Thank you @cunningplan101 I know it sounds awful but I'm just so desperate to have a baby, nothing will replace her but it might just take some of the pain away Sad

cunningplan101 · 29/10/2021 12:52

I am so sorry to hear about your daughter, @Beck208. I can't imagine the pain you've been going through Flowers
