Hi ladies I’m going to try to make this short. DH and I did the deed 5 weeks postpartum. Out of nowhere now I’m nauseous at random times, when I eat certain things, and I all of a sudden HATE the smell of cigarettes. Could this just be a sign of postpartum period coming? I’ve never had nausea before period before. And if I DID conceive Im wondering if I would even be feeling symptoms so soon.
Please help ease my mind.

A test will tell you op. But if you didn't use contraception and weren't exclusively breastfeeding then it's possible you are pregnant.

I started having symptoms within days of conception for both my pregnancies. I met a man once who had five kids when he was 16. The day his triplets were born he had sex with his wife and 9 months later they had twins. True story.
OP sounds like you need to have a pregnancy test.

Yes its possible although very early for symptoms

Is pregnancy likely? Did you use contraception?

It is totally possible to conceive again so soon if nothing was used. You need to take a test to put your mind at rest one way or another.

I think taking a test would be the only thing that can put your mind at ease. Then you’ll know for sure and can consider all your options.

I’m 4 months post partum and did find that my hormones did some funny things when they were balancing out. But I didn’t have any pregnancy symptoms, mine were mostly mood related.
