1 dpo today - anyone with me??

Title says it all really! 1 dpo today and feeling a bit down and tired already! Not looking forward to the next two weeks. Have had three losses in six months this year so getting a bfp is only the first hurdle. Trying to stay positive but for some reason I feel like this month we didn’t have sex enough.

I have had a little spotting around ovulation in the past but as that was a week ago for me (I was using OPKs to track) I reckon it’s too late for that. I’ll try not to dwell on it too much! Had some fairly mild cramping as well.

How are all you wonderful ladies this morning?

Hello all, @Cruz86 I'm ok I had another static smiley this morning so taking it as I ovulated yesterday as I had one yesterday aswell, I was lucky first time I TTC I came off the pill end of may had my withdrawal bleed had a period then got pregnant straight away which I didn't expect to happen so quickly, so I'm not sure of my cycles or anything really? I've just got to keep an eye on it all, anyone having any symptoms at all? Resisting the urge to test haha?

Sorry to hear about your miscarriage @arianasky. How are you feeling this cycle?

@MaybeBabyAli is spotting around this time normal for you? If not, I'd suspect it's a good chance of implantation bleeding!!

@ExcitedtoTry I am exactly the same too! I have the one step IC, which are 10 hcg, but if I get any sort of line I may then try with first response and then a CB digital!

Hope you’re all having a relaxing evening. I just found some dark CM/spotting in my knickers when I went to the loo. Is 6/7 DPO too early for implantation bleeding?! I told myself not to symptom spot but this won’t help…

Only my first month of trying. I do tend to throw myself into things whole heartedly so not surprised by my obsession!

I can’t wait to test! Do you have an early response one? Is there a brand I should get?

It’s a bit maddening isn’t it? I even drove to the wrong shop earlier because I was daydreaming. I think I need to get a new hobby if this goes on longer than a few months Confused

I’m 3 DPO & my mind is fully consumed with babies. I need to chill out! I’ve had cramps since Saturday and nausea but far too early for symptoms of course. Must just be a bug.

I’ve got a work thing this Friday & there will be lots of alcohol. I’d rather go without but that’s going to be difficult. Might have to nurse a small glass.

Hello ladies can I join please? I had a missed miscarriage and had the D and C procedure on the 1st, I've had a negative test now and I had a static smiley on my clear blue test this morning, so should be 1dpo tomorrow, I'm not desperate to fall pregnant this month but I'm not preventing it at all, but would still like to join if that's ok? And I'm sorry for everyone with previous losses it's the hardest thing my heart goes out to you all and praying you get your BFP's soon 💕

@Firsttimetrier that’s interesting to know! I haven’t really had any symptoms yet, I’m 6-7 DPO and maybe today and yesterday I have had some mild cramps, but I’m really not sure if these are typical symptoms or not! 🤷‍♀️

Hello @MaybeBabyAli I didn’t have any symptoms to share, but someone on our October thread has just got her BFP and shared her symptoms each day. These included a cold symptoms and a blocked nose from 3DPO, water CM, mild pulling/cramping.

The last last few days I’ve got a stinking cold and a blocked nose, which I put down to commuting and being in the office, some strange watery/clear CM yesterday, and a dull ache that’s below where I’d normally get ovulation pain.

Not going to get excited but it’s made me way more intrigued to see what happens when I test on Friday!

Hi everyone, am catching up a bit during a few mins of downtime at work. Hope you’re all having great Mondays. Anyone got symptoms to share?! The only thing that is out of the ordinary for me is insomnia for the last few days but that might be stress at work rather than anything else. I also feel super emotional like I could break down at any minute but again, that is probably work related!

Welcome along @LittleMysSister 😁 if you ovulate today and DTD on Saturday and Sunday I would imagine you are covered. It only takes one little sperm!! I would like to think I would ditch all the testing and tracking but it somehow keeps my mind occupied and rationalises things!

Got my static smiley yesterday so guessing the big O is today, which is CD20.

I am also worried we haven't DTD enough this time round though, I was expecting to ovulate around day 17 (as per last month) so was sort of focusing on that date and it turned out not to be right and it's been hard to keep it up.

We DTD Saturday and Sunday so might be covered but I'm not convinced or feeling hopeful this month. Just feel like I haven't been on it properly.

Next month I'm considering just going rogue and ditching the tests and app, just feel like it plays on my mind too much.

@Cruz86 Ah, that's a shame. It's horrible when the pessimism sets in. But I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you anyway!

I'm alright. No symptoms and I'm okay with it, so far. At 6dpo I probably wouldn't even have implanted yet anyway (I definitely didn't this early with other pregnancies). It's weird how que sera I feel about the whole thing this cycle. I really wore myself out last month fretting over it so this approach is quite nice! If I don't have any symptoms whatsoever in the next few days it'll be a bit depressing though.

@Cruz86 I'm so sorry the lurgy was covid. That's damn unlucky. Glad to hear you're on the mend! I hope the spotting is nothing to be worried about at the very least. Just remember you're not out until AF actually shows!

@MaybeBabyAli yes, there's party sperm, which are a bit aimless but you know, fun, and then there's baby sperm, which are a whole load more focused!

I know what you mean about speaking up about TTC. I think it's hard though. We kept it to ourselves partly because we wanted privacy while we got our heads around it. Then when we were open about it and our losses, it was very, very hard dealing with others' reactions to it as well as our own. Most reactions were entirely inadequate, even from those who knew and loved us to bits! That's obviously because we do have this weird culture of silence around ttc and pregnancy loss, but also because people are human and flawed and there's no accounting for that even in an ideal world where talking about ttc and pregnancy loss is normalised! I think it's so important to be able to talk about it, but I guess I'm skeptical about things changing any time soon. Sad

I think forums like this are so helpful. I was never a chat and make friends on the internet type of person, but this has been a life-saver throughout ttc!

Thank you @Peonies94 and @MaybeBabyAli. I feel a lot better than I did on Friday, just very lethargic with an annoying cough and lots of body aches.

Yes I definitely will see my gp. This will be the 5th cycle with spotting around this time and it's just gutting because it means I'm now waiting 5/6 days for af to appear as I know it'll definitely come 😩

Oh no @Cruz86 sorry to hear that. I hope you have a speedy recovery. How are you feeling this evening? I reckon it’s always good to get checked out if you have unexpected spotting.

@Firsttimetrier fingers crossed for us both!!! Glad it’s not just me who’s a little patchy. During the week I’m just too tired but I made the effort for my static smiley!

@Peonies94 luckily we’ve avoided comments on our baby choices since we’ve got married although my now MIL did ask if we were going to freeze my eggs a few years ago. My hubby’s reaction to that made sure we haven’t heard anything about that since!!

Evening all, sorry I've been in and out of sleep today. Turns out the cold is Covid!!

Baby sperm is all I've taken from the messages today though 😂😂

I'm 6dpo and my usual spotting has happened so think I'm out this cycle and need to speak to a dr about it!
