1 dpo today - anyone with me??

Title says it all really! 1 dpo today and feeling a bit down and tired already! Not looking forward to the next two weeks. Have had three losses in six months this year so getting a bfp is only the first hurdle. Trying to stay positive but for some reason I feel like this month we didn’t have sex enough.

How was everyone’s day? I’ve got lots of deadlines at the moment and feeling the pressure which is helping pass the time. I think I’m onto 9 DPO tomorrow already! I’ve had to commute back into the office a few times a week as well and forgot how tiring it is!

@Cruz86 how’s the spotting been today? I always read that implantation can appear like an early AF so you may not be out.

Sounds like a tough situation @weathervane123! Another thing for you to think about and take the lead on I can imagine (if your partner has ADHD). Hope it's not too much of a weight on your shoulders with TTC too.

My bleeding/spotting is getting heavier today. Started on Monday just light pink, then I had a toilet paper worth of bright red, and yesterday it was light brown/pink again. But this morning it was quite a dark red/dark brown so I'm just waiting for af to say hi now!

I'll be rooting for you all though!

Morning ladies!! I reckon it’s a bit early to read into negatives at the moment so we’re all still in until AF comes along.

I’m also thinking I have all the usual suspects for both pregnancy and PMS! I’ve had no more spotting, just the little bit on DPO 6 which Google says was on the early side for implantation. I’m having internal battles about testing. I have one more clear blue early which I am contemplating using on Friday or Saturday…

@weathervane123 sorry to hear about your partner’s situation. Fingers crossed it is all easy to sort out from a legal perspective. I can’t believe neither of them said anything!!

@Firsttimetrier I couldn't agree you more. I've been getting PMS symptoms since last year, since I've got medical treatment for my ectopic. I seriously just can't make a difference between PMS or being pregnant , before I could because the only symptom I've got was some cramps few days before period.
In the past 1 year my symptoms are cramps, mood swings, vomit feeling, fatigue, headaches, sore boobs, feeling angry in EVERY single month!!!
I'm just so tired of it, sometimes I feel giving up trying , so at least I know that pregnancy has nothing to do with what I feel before period. It kills you mentally.
Sorry to hear that weathervane123 hopefully everything gets better.

@Bell024 you aren’t out until AF rears her ugly head, so keeping my fingers crossed.

Honestly, who decided to make early pregnancy and PMS symptoms the same?

Most of last night I had a dull ache kind of below my pelvic bone area and keep getting the sensation that I’m coming on, but it keeps being CM. Sorry for TMI first thing in the morning.

I just wish I paid attention and logged all my PMS symptoms over the years, as I can’t remember what is normal!

Testing on Friday though…

Morning ladies,
I did a test today, BFN and I think I'm out. My skin got very dry, which is usual before my period. Seems like it's never gonna happen. 😕

@Cruz86 no idea, I’m so irregular! I just tested today and it was negative, I’m going to continue to test for the next few days!

Sorry to hear about the negatives, ladies, but it's still so early I hope they're just temporary disappointments!

I've had a bit of a blow tonight. Found out my partner is still technically legally married to his ex-wife. She didn't file the paperwork for their decree absolute despite petitioning him, and being the idiot with ADHD that he is, he didn't question why the damn thing hadn't arrived in the post. She's allowed him to think they're divorced for literally six years, while continuing to go to his parents house to visit and do DIY. She lives in the same city as us and they have mutual friends. It's not like she never had a chance to say something.

Yes, I'm that woman. Like someone from an episode of Jerry Springer. Though it's just a matter of filing some forms and paying a fee (I hope), I have to admit it's thrown me, at the worst time.

Sorry for the non-ttc post. Just had to write it out. Life, hey?

I tested today as well @Peonies94 🤦🏼‍♀️ but since testing, my cramps have really ramped up so I think af will be here by Thursday 😩

@Bell024 it’s horrible! I tested yesterday but that was an obvious negative, but today I was just imagining lines 🤦🏻‍♀️ I looked again and there was nothing there 🤷‍♀️! Good luck! Keep us posted, I’m going to test every day from now until Saturday with a few cheapies! I can’t contain myself any longer!

I know what you mean about the feeling of it being negative! I feel exactly the same! Goodluck though ☺️

I just did another test! Not sure why I do this to myself, but for a second I imagined a line, I could literally see it, and then it disappeared! It was obviously all in my head, but for about 2 seconds I could see it 😭! Im only 8DPo but driving myself crazy! 🤦🏻‍♀️

@weathervane123 I’m glad you found the culprit for your exhaustion!! I could never accidentally forget lunch, sadly for my waistline.

So @Bell024 you’re testing from tomorrow?! Keep us posted! I’m looking forward to hopefully lots of us getting those two lines in the next week or so

They all sound really positive symptoms! I haven’t had anything today, but yesterday I did have some twinges just above pubic bone to the left, nothing today though!

Was a bit weak and exhausted today until I realised I hadn't had lunch. Ate a sandwich and was absolutely bloody fine!

@Bell024 omg me too! Yesterday I had to log off work early because I had an awful headache and today I keep feeling like I’ve come on my period, but it’s just CM.

I’m so bloated and my stomach is so making some odd sounds and sensations too.

I'm 7dpo today. Have mild cramps, on and off headache, and I constantly feel wet 🥴 not much cm, like lotion. 🙃

I have actually done a couple of tests just to cure my poas addiction 😂 but they're at like 5 and 6 dpo so absolutely way too early!! I've had some red bleeding which is unusual but I think af will be here by Friday.

@weathervane123 thank you. My symptoms before my positive last time involved pains in breasts near the under arm really, stuffed nose and weird flutters in heart like a plantation type of feeling.

@MaybeBabyAli definitely hard not to symptom spot if you're spotting! If mid-cycle spotting is not normal for you that may well be a good sign!

Thinking about it, I generally know when I'm pregnant. I've been right every time I was, and when I was really worried I wasn't it was because I wasn't! I guess it's an accumulation of symptoms at specific times that lets me know for sure. It's been different each time, but there's some combination of:

  • either light pulling or major cramping in the uterus (my body is probably used to being pregnant so I didn't cramp badly last time)
  • hunger (I can usually miss a meal or two and not suffer but not when I'm pregnant!)
  • severe exhaustion (unmistakeable, like having flu or hiking a mountain except neither is true)
  • tender breasts (typically at the sides first)
  • stuffy nose (not just first thing in the morning)

So far I haven't tended to be overly emotional, and I haven't had the weird taste and smell thing. Cramping/pulling is the only implantation symptom I've had - no spotting or bleeding at all yet. I have sex daily so monitoring CM is sometimes a bit tricky (sorry tmi!), but the first time this year I had quite strong symptoms and I got a real wet feeling. I had to keep running to the loo to check! It was honestly like nothing I'd felt before, but there wasn't like an overflow of CM or anything. So weird! Haven't had it in the times since, but that may have something to do with low hcg in those cases.

I guess certain symptoms are attributable to progesterone, which causes PMT, and others are a result of hcg? I suppose it make sense then that some symptoms would appear a bit later than others.

Anyway, after all that, I am symptomless. Lol! Smile
