1 dpo today - anyone with me??

Title says it all really! 1 dpo today and feeling a bit down and tired already! Not looking forward to the next two weeks. Have had three losses in six months this year so getting a bfp is only the first hurdle. Trying to stay positive but for some reason I feel like this month we didn’t have sex enough.

Morning ladies!

@ExcitedtoTry Fingers crossed that PMT is a good sign! I'm with you on the wfh joggers situation. At the moment I'm only travelling in one day a week and I'd prefer not to, especially if this pregnancy progresses! Hoping for my current wfh arrangement to be made permanent but HR are quibbling. Grr.

@MaybeBabyAli I'm so sorry. That's rough. Flowers How are you feeling today? It did look to me like a genuine positive not an indent - if so, it's very good news you can conceive. I really hope that next cycle is your time.

@Bell024 I see a line. Didn't even need to click on your photo! If it's pinky, looking good! Definitely test in a couple of days and keep us posted. Exciting! Glad you had a good birthday dinner!

@Peonies94 I started after a period in late feb. Been pregnant three times this year - one mmc, one ectopic, one mc. This is number four. I'm a bit anxious and am trying to manage expectations. I tested at yesterday at 10dpo, so 11dpo today. AF supposedly due tomorrow, but cycles are a bit of a mess thanks to the losses. Sorry to hear AF arrived! Have a chat with your GP about short LP. It's not necessarily an issue but it can help to put your mind at rest.

@Cruz86 How are you today? I started my progesterone suppositories last night so am feeling a bit more pregnant now (tightness in tummy, mildly tender boobs). It's such a red herring because of the hormone, I kind of wish I could know whether I actually need them or not so I can stop taking them if it's totally unnecessary!

Oh no, sorry to hear af arrived @Peonies94!! My lp is 9-10 days as well so try not to worry too much about that. Easier said than done, I know, but I Googled so much and became a little obsessive thinking I'd never be able to fall pregnant because of it 🤦🏼‍♀️ even though it was about that when I conceived my son too haha!

Peonies94 · 23/10/2021 09:14

Congratulations @MaybeBabyAli @weathervane123 .. how long have you both been trying? How many DPO are you?
I was presented with AF this morning 😭! This means my LF is only 10 days too this month! Really short compared to my usual range! So happy for you guys though! @Cruz86 hope your feeling okay!

Cruz86 · 23/10/2021 08:59

If it has a pinkish colour that's a good sign!! Glad you have a lovely dinner. Update us when you've done another @Bell024!

Bell024 · 23/10/2021 08:51

I'm going to get more tests 😅😁😁😁

Bell024 · 23/10/2021 08:50

@Cruz86 it's a pink dye test. And it has pinkish colour . Unfortunately the camera doesn't show it back. Birthday dinner was lovely, my husband really did his best 👌 😍

Cruz86 · 23/10/2021 08:49

Hope you had a lovely birthday dinner @Bell024, even if you did feel sick afterwards!! I can definitely see a line. Is it a blue or pink dye test? X

Cruz86 · 23/10/2021 08:47

Oh I'm really sorry @MaybeBabyAli 😔 I really hope you get your bfp soon. Look after yourself ❤️

MaybeBabyAli · 23/10/2021 08:39

@Bell024 I can definitely see something. I would test again tomorrow and see if it’s stronger 🤞🏼

FlyOnTheWall89 · 23/10/2021 08:18

@Bell024 there is something for sure but it’s very faint rn so hard to tell if it’s an indent. Be patient and try to wait a bit. Fingers crossed for you!

Bell024 · 23/10/2021 08:07

Is it really there?? 🥺🥺🥺 I've been in tears 😢 🥰😍🥺🥺🥺

Bell024 · 23/10/2021 08:06

Morning ladies.
So a little update. I'm 11 dpo , and I don't wanna shout it out, but I think I've got the faintest line. Yesterday at my bday dinner had 2 cocktails , but after that felt like I wanna throw up 🤢 before we went I did a test but was negative, so was like it's my birthday I will have a drink or 2.
Today morning I again did a test. And I can't believe my eyes. Boots own brand within the time frame came up a 2.line

1 dpo today - anyone with me??
MaybeBabyAli · 23/10/2021 06:19

I tested this morning with FMU and got nothing at all. I kind of expected this as I am still bleeding. I guess this means I either had a false positive yesterday or it was a chemical. Feeling a bit sorry for myself but if it was a chemical at least it means that we can conceive… Onto the next cycle!

Good luck with your testing @ExcitedtoTry!

Cruz86 · 22/10/2021 21:48

Oh you've still got a little while then @ExcitedtoTry! Do you know when you ovulated? Give it take a couple of days x

ExcitedtoTry · 22/10/2021 21:24

@Cruz86

Ah man, that's really frustrating *@ExcitedtoTry*. When is af due?

Thank you! I tested yesterday at 10dpo 😊

Halloween! Hmm ok, I’m going to follow your lead and hopefully have the same outcome! Will test on Monday. Thanks for the info! I’m so new to this.

I imagine we’re all going to be working from home again v.soon and I would love to see out the first trimester completely at home. I can wear joggers all day for starters Grin

@Cruz86

PMT symptoms are pretty much the same as pregnancy symptoms *@ExcitedtoTry*! Are you going to test or see if af arrives?
I was thinking about getting some early test kits tomorrow. I’m in a serious funk and get like this every month. Proper woe is me feeling Grin so I think it is genuine PMT. Damn it.

What day did you test? I saw your positive result above - congratulations!

Cruz86 · 22/10/2021 20:53

I don't think 31 days is a long cycle @FlyOnTheWall89. That's how long my cycle was with my first and I tended to ovulate around day 21! How are you feeling this evening?

ExcitedtoTry · 22/10/2021 19:51

Fingers crossed for you @MaybeBabyAli Flowers

I’m not feeling so great about this month now. I’ve got PMT symptoms today. Very emotional & blue.

weathervane123 · 22/10/2021 18:45

@MaybeBabyAli I’m so sorry thats happening. It’s super unnerving and stressful. The fact you’re five days early though could suggest it’s a pregnancy-related bleed rather than AF, but I see why you’re concerned. Here’s a virtual cupcake: 🧁 (no eclair emoji!) I really hope you’re okay. Do let us know how you get on xx

Oh I'm really sorry to hear that @MaybeBabyAli. A constant flow?

MaybeBabyAli · 22/10/2021 18:31

I think it’s not looking good for me ladies. Shortly after my faint potentially positive test I started bleeding and it’s been on all day. I’m 5 days early for AF so I’m not sure what’s going on but I doubt it’s good news. If I’m not bleeding in the morning I’ll try another test. I’ll take one of those eclairs please @weathervane123!!!

weathervane123 · 22/10/2021 17:24

@FlyOnTheWall89. I don't think 31 days is considered abnormally long, no. If that's the case, at CD30, you're probably far enough into the implantation window (6-12 days past ovulation) to try a sensitive test. I'm really sorry for your loss. It's terribly hard to pick up and keep going after a knock like that, and it's entirely reasonable to be anxious. I've struggled with it too. Had a bit of a wobble in the supermarket today, just overwhelmed by what might happen either way, and all the plates I have to keep spinning while this journey continues. I made my way straight to the cream cake aisle and picked up an eclair. I figure we all deserve our own version of a big fat chocolate eclair! Keep us posted on the test, and best of luck to you.

@weathervane123 Thanks for your reply. I have a 31 day cycle on average - is this long? August was 29 days though so it can vary a little, and last month was 32. I might do a sensitive test tomorrow if no AF. I felt pregnant last month and I was completely devastated to get a BFN and then AF which really surprised me. I am not overly emotional as a person and I got myself in quite an anxious pickle. A friend just told me she is 12 weeks - she found out just before her first (private) fertility tests on cycle 7.

If anyone has any fertility acupuncture recommendations in SW London, I would love one.
