So I'm looking for ladies who are nearing the end of their cycle, will be testing soon, and want to support each other!😁

As an intro: Hi! Im 23 and on month 2 of TTC #1, I'm currently on CD30 of a 32 day cycle. Exciting things to note for this month are that on CD27 I experienced a gush of bright red blood and have had nothing else since so I'm thinking this could be implantation! Also, for the past 2 days my cervix has been high and soft so I'm taking this as a very good sign!

How is everyone else doing?😁

So I've just examined Flo to try and guess when AF will be arriving. The last time I had spotting was on the 10th of October which is potentially the day I ovulated (DTD 3 days before so not super hopeful if that's the case), I also had lots of watery CM around that time (although none on the day I DTD😤).

However, a couple of days later, on the 13th, I had small amounts of slightly stretchy CM. Not mega stretchy and it was very light but there was definitely some stretch to it, which makes me think maybe I ovulated then? If that's the case I am 100% not pregnant. FFS this TTC business is so difficult and frustrating... Wish I knew what was going on with my bodySad

@PinkFizz1 I also tested this morning on a cheapie because I'll be having drinks tonight, and also received a BFNSad I know it's very disappointing getting negative if you really want a baby, no matter the circumstances. Just got to be positive and not allow it to consume your life (like I am lol)
I'm pretty sure my AF will be starting soon, I don't feel pregnant at all. I just wish I knew when as I'm not enjoying constantly thinking it's started and running to the toilet to check

Tested this morning as we’re planning on having wine tonight. BFN.

For someone that said she was going to try properly after Xmas (and in reality, don’t really want to be pregnant before Xmas) I’m actually quite disappointed. Need to keep reminding myself that it’s early days.

Now I don’t know whether to take the couple of days of brown spotting as a withdrawal? Hopefully it was, then I might be a bit closer to knowing when my AF will come. I was going to log my ovulation in the Flo app, but don’t know whether to log the spotting as a withdrawal or just wait for my first proper AF. 🤷🏻‍♀️

hereforthefood · 20/10/2021 11:41

@Mrslight ah don't worry too much, as people have been reminding me on here, you're not out until AF shows!😂

@PinkFizz1 Brown blood is old blood, nothing fresh, it's looking good for you! I'll also be testing on Friday, 12 days after potential imp bleed, 3 weeks after potential ovulation but I'm not hopeful. My cervix has suddenly hardened up and I'm getting af style cramps so I'm betting she'll be making an appearance soon, if she does then I'll be super wrong about my ovulation date lol

@Mrslight Sorry to hear about your BFN Sad

No real update from me, brown spotting started Friday morning and stopped Saturday night, then came back Monday night and stopped now. Always brown and very very light, never blood or anything so I'm really confused. Testing on Friday with FMU but not very hopeful.

Hope everyone else is doing okay.

Mrslight · 19/10/2021 13:35

@hereforthefood yeah, there must have been nothing, as I tested today and definite bfn :(

hereforthefood · 19/10/2021 12:24

@Mrslight if I'm being honest, I don't see anythingSad maybe give it a few more days and test again?

OP posts:
Mrslight · 18/10/2021 16:54

@PinkFizz1 yes it was FRER :)

Mrslight · 18/10/2021 16:52

@PinkFizz1 @hereforthefood here is inverted photo, I thought I saw something in the morning, but tbh now I think it was just an indent and there is no0thing there :(

TESTING TRAIN!! Who else is with me?
hereforthefood · 18/10/2021 13:24

@PinkFizz1 I hope you're right but I'm really not optimisticSad I'm seriously debating the OPKs though, I think temping would be a bit too far for now but having some idea of when I ovulate would probably prove useful!
Also, what you experienced really doesn't sound like a withdrawal bleed! It's still a sort of period so the blood would have to be red and continuously flowing for it to be considered that I believe. Brown spotting is more akin to implantation bleeding!!! This could be a very good sign for you and I definitely recommend testing in a few days with a FRER!!

Hello ladies, sorry I haven't checked in over the weekend. Work is crazy busy at the moment.

@maggiegary Sorry that you think this might be a chemical. Sad I can't imagine the emotions that come with testing positive and then this. Please keep us updated. x

@toadstool32 Congrats on your pregnancy!

@Mrslight Can you attach a pic? Was it a FRER? I'm keeping everything crossed for you.

@hereforthefood if AF still hasn't made an appearance you're not out yet! I know what you mean about the OPKs. I've said I will wait til it's been a good few months but I'm already starting to think about them.

Update from me; the brown spotting stopped after 2 days. NO idea what that was, it was never anything more than light brown spotting. Could a withdrawal bleed be that light? I am due to test again on Friday anyway. So many symptoms of coming off the pill are similar to pregnancy symptoms, so I'm trying my hardest not to symptom spot. If it was a withdrawal 'bleed' then hopefully if I get a BFN on Friday I will be a little closer to knowing my cycles.

Ugh it's so stressful! I feel like I can't really give anything 100% concentration at the minute. TTC, work, a few medical issues, plus I am my biggest critic anyway so feeling rather overwhelmed at the moment!

Hope you are all doing okay.

hereforthefood · 18/10/2021 11:18

I've pretty much lost most of my optimism today tbh. I feel like I simply had an anovulatory cycle this month which means I have no idea when I'll be ovulating next, or whether I already have. Chances are we missed my fertile window though. I have pretty normal symptoms for me right now, nothing to get excited about so I'm pretty sure I'm not pregnant, unfortunately :/ I might buy some OPKs just to try and figure out what's going on but I told myself I wouldn't get that deep into it so quickly...

@maggiegary I can't imagine how you must be feelingSad I really am sorry that you've had to go through this again.

@Mrslight fingers crossed this is the start of your BFP! Does it have any colour to it?

OP posts:
Mrslight · 18/10/2021 06:33

13dpo - bfn :( however! The indent line seems to be easier visible than on previous tests I took - with previous ones I had to find a right angle to see the indent, while with today's test I can see it much easier, so I thought may be because it is a very very faint start of bfp. So I am making today hopeful for myself with potentially having very disappointing tomorrow.

Mrslight · 17/10/2021 17:24

@hereforthefood whahha I love the positivity of waiting less for the scan :)
I had a bfn yesterday and today, not even the faintest line. I had some mild cramping and lower back ache yesterday at 11dpo, but nothing today. I will be testing tomorrow. Fingers crossed for us 🤞🤞

maggiegary · 17/10/2021 16:22

@toadstool32 I couldn't get a clear blue weeks one unfortunately.
@hereforthefood I'm pretty sure it's another chemical now. I just need to be patient and wait for bloods now. I have one more boots digital that I am going to try and save for the middle of next week. I can't afford to keep doing them anymore!

hereforthefood · 17/10/2021 15:33

@maggiegary I hate to admit this but your one from today does look lighter. It might not be completely bad news though, maybe you didn't need a wee as much today as yesterday, or you drank lots of fluids the night before? I'm really hoping it's an anomaly for you. Sending love and baby dust❤️

OP posts:
toadstool32 · 17/10/2021 15:28

What weeks on the cb digital are you getting? With my chemical I got to 1-2 then the frers got lighter. Bleeding started about 4/5 days "late". Im now 20+2. Hoping it's good news for you but if it is a chemical they really are so common. If it wasn't for early tests most women wouldn't even realise.

maggiegary · 17/10/2021 15:12

@hereforthefood

I'm still testing positive on digital and FRERs. Although today's is slightly lighter!

TESTING TRAIN!! Who else is with me?
hereforthefood · 17/10/2021 11:50

@maggiegary @PinkFizz1 any updates guys?

I have nothing to report. Negative FRER yesterday and still no AF (CD42 now urgh). My cervix has gone so high it's basically out of reach for me now, I tried so hard to feel it, contorting my body into positions bodies should not be in, but could only graze the side (it was facing my back too so that also didn't make it any easier). I'm just so confused and annoyed. I'll be testing again next Friday when AF is 2 weeks late and hoping something will be showing by thenSad

OP posts:
hereforthefood · 16/10/2021 17:07

@maggiegary that line looks great! I'm sure your blood work will come back normal if you're still getting strong positives after you've stopped bleedingSmile

@PinkFizz1 my partner has no idea the level of crazy I'm at already!! He's under the impression we're being casual about itGrin

@Mrslight yeah seeing all those people get early BFPs is killing me when I'm now on 15dpo (for the second time this cycle🙄) and still none the wiser!! At least if we get a late BFP there's less time we spend waiting for our scans😂
My symptoms also basically disappeared last Sunday! If you look at my apps it goes from experiencing everything to 3 days of nothing and then a bit of cramps and boob pain lol, looking very bare at the end of this cycle. Maybe it's a good sign!

OP posts:
Mrslight · 15/10/2021 22:18

@PinkFizz1 @maggiegary thank you!!
@hereforthefood yes, logically I understand that 10 dpo is too soon given most common implantation day is 9dpo, but then when I see so many people having bfp on days 8 and 9 I start thinking that it seems many people implantate earlier.

I have no symptoms at all, which again I guess is normal. I had couple of dreams though that I got bfp, so I really hope it was a sign 🤞

maggiegary · 15/10/2021 18:09

@PinkFizz1 I know what you mean about turning into a crazy person! We've tried two months, got pregnant two times, lost one and now all this craziness! I'm a mess!

maggiegary · 15/10/2021 18:08

@PinkFizz1 I'm not very hopeful but I am very confused. I've worked out im 18dpo, last time at 18dpo I had a negative cb digital but with a line that strong I'm sure it would turn a digital positive! I have NEEVER had a line that strong. I just really wish my drs weren't being so rubbish! Im just going to keep spending a fortune on tests till I get my blood results back! Although it will be a week on Monday before I get the second lot back and I really don't think I wait that long!

PinkFizz1 · 15/10/2021 17:53

@maggiegary have you been drinking much today? That’s a great line for this time of day 🤞🏼
