No temp rise

Hi guys. I use bbt for contraception and as of this month to conceive, randomly this month I've had no temp rise when I was sure I OV, it's been 3-4 days now and still no temp rise, what are the chances the first month I ttc I don't OV, or could it be that I have conceived? I have seen a few things online of people not having a temp rise and getting bfp.
Anyone have any experience with this? TIA!

Hi I know this is an old post. But this this is the first time I haven't had a bbt rise after ovulation. I had a strong peak and ewcm and ovulation pain on CD13. I just wanted to ask what dpo did you get your positive? And also did you get a bbt rise at all in your tww. Thanks

Same here, so depressed i have no bbt rise and its cd 29 happened this month for the first time. I had an ewcm but still no sure if i ovulated its my 6 month trying i du no what to do.

It's rubbish isn't it. My period showed up in the end so was just another long cycle!

Hi, hope you don’t mind me jumping on. I’ve been trying to find info on No bbt rise and happy to have come across this feed. We’re ttc cycle 4, had a miscarriage in March this year so trying to stay hopeful!
I used the CB ovulation tests and got a static smiley 3 days ago PM, yet haven’t had a bbt rise yet CD 18 today. I do have irregular cycles but ovulation was predicted yesterday but still no bbt rise. We’ve tried much harder than usual this month too, fingers crossed get a bfp and the lack of rise isn’t a cause of concern x

This thread has made me feel so much more positive!

I have been TTC 12 months now and my cycles have been really irregular (39 - 95 days) and I finally got all signs of O on CD40 (14.07.23) but no rise in BBT yet. I'm already convincing myself in out because of the long cycles.

My nipples are sensitive which is something I haven't experienced before (but I am taking vitamins so could be that!)

I just really really really hope this is the month - app currently says 6DPO so just got to wait it out!

@Chocolatebean if you don't mind me asking did you get a BBT rise the month you conceived? Congratulations!

@LKI28 please don't be disheartened, it's the longest most taxing journey to be on, I had also suffered a miscarriage prior to this and I now have 2 perfectly healthy little girls. No temp rise doesn't necessarily mean you're out. Take care of yourself and good luck!

I really needed to read this. I had a miscarriage in February after a while ttc and twice since I’ve not had a rise in bbt, in fact this month it’s dropped the lowest it’s ever been. My mental health is so poor that I can’t even ovulate now but this thread has given me some hope :(. My ovulation test said positive but no bbt rise. Please pray for me but I don’t think I would be so lucky :’(

@shiros I'm so sorry to hear of your struggles so far. As my post says and I can confirm no temp rise meant nothing for me, my baby is here and as strong as an ox (a very small ox but you know) everything crossed for you! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 keep me posted! X

I so badly needed this! I have been taking letrozole and had a trigger shot for IUI on Saturday 25th, my temp isn't rising! my last IUI worked but I miscarried so I am praying so hard this works again and it sticks this time!!!!

Cooeee I’m 7 dpo today temp started to go up a bit yesterday feel absolutely no different yet will probably test 11dpo xxx

@BabyB19 my temp ended up going up on cycle day 20 so I just ovulated really late this month I think. I am due AF on Tuesday but I’m pretty sure I’m out this month xx

Hi @Kfish56 ive had exactly the same thing my OPK peaked, got tender nipples and spots on chin everything and yet my bbt seemed to jump the day of ovulation a but now it’s just flat as a pancake I’m 4dpo so thought I’d have seen something by now. Most bizarre x

Awww that’s amazing!! I really hope the same thing is happening to me. I’ve gotten my hopes up so many times now and it’s never happened. I’m sure I’m just getting my hopes up for no reason but I really hope this is something. I have attached last months temps and this months!!
