Lucky October? 🍀

Sorry @Danani about your DH, both for him and you! I understand you’re frustration!! My OH often has ailments that stop him from helping around the house etc and whilst I feel sorry for him, I feel sorry for me too 🙃

Still no BFP here and I think AF is due today (I think, but my cycles aren’t always consistent) I think I ovulated later this month though so goodness knows.

I’ve given up caring either way this cycle.. If I’m not pregnant I’ll hopefully get pregnant next month and have a July baby like me (and an extra month to save etc!)

@Peauela I will be approaching the TWW in a few days and I'm already dreading it 😂 I was bad for testing early last month so I really need to be preoccupied this time haha! Xx

@Danani I completely get it but just write it off as a hiccup and keep going! :) doing stress over it xx

@Missy95 I'm sorry to hear a about your loss. Keeping my fingers crossed for two lines this month! I think there are places where you can go privately to have yourselves checked in case your doctor brushes you off! But I don't think he would anyway.

I'm 6DPO today and I feel like days are dragging even more the further i get 😂

@Danani Its completely understandable that you feel that way, I don't think anyone realises the stress if TTC until going through it and any extra bumps in the road easily cause frustration. Hopefully Cd9 wont make much of a difference. Fingers crossed you get back on track and your DH is ok!

Im on CD11 of cycle 10, I fell pregnant this month last year but unfortunately the pregnancy ended at 16 weeks. I have been told by friends that maybe October is just 'Our month' but I feel quite deflated already. I have mixed emotions as due date would be nearly identical to our last pregnancy 🥺 I don't test for ovulation, I just use flo app. But the closer I get to the 12 month mark, the less optimistic I feel. Im 26 and OH is 29, I'm worried we will be brushed off by docs if we get to 12 months and still no luck as I have heard of others our age being told to keep trying for up to 2 years. I really hope it doesn't come to that. Xx

@BrownEyedSquirrel that is me 100%. I’m not that bothered now, I’ve got the “it is what it is” attitude but once I’m last ovulation I’ll enter the psycho mode for sure 🤪😂 at least we in this together!

@Danani ahh I’m gutted for you! I know what you feel like, and don’t feel bad for being annoyed, I’d be too - not at DH but the situation. It’s like we’re trying to bring a new life into this world and silly things get in the way… hope he feels better soon and is ready for some action 😉

We e got my DH’s DS with us this weekend so not much action is going to happen but from Monday onwards it’s ON😏 DH is starting a new job and he’s excited about it so it should work in my favour .

TMI but I’m a worried about my CM (if it’s going to be enough) so I might crack and get the pre seed ( or any other fertility friendly lube). I swear the stress makes me dry!

Sorry to hear about DH! I hope he makes a speedy recovery.

I can understand your fears as I always worry that there’s only this short period of time of getting things right before having to wait a whole new cycle to try again.

I’m just waiting for AF to leave so we can crack on, but the days seem to go so slowly when TTC!

@Danani I tend to stay relaxed for the first half of the cycle and then the TWW appears and I'm a symptom spotting, POAS addict no matter how hard I try to remain zen!

We’re on cycle 3. Currently CD 12 with ovulation expected CD14/15 so we’ve DTD every other day since CD6. Been doing clear blue ovulation tests but no peak yet!

I've had some symptoms and I'm around 3 days until my period so will be testing soon!

@Danani will do! I genuinely just feel like AF is coming but you never know!

@Peauela I'm going to wait till after tomorrow morn. I have my first netball game of the season so would rather not know before as I think I'd be reluctant to play if it was positive! Sounds silly I know!

@Bridgey8 hey! Are you waiting for your missed period before testing? I would test tomorrow! :)

Heya @Bridgey8 ive heard that it can be possible to use a OPK test for early pregnancy not too sure how it works. (Something to do with hormones i think) fingers crossed that AF doesnt show up and you get a BFP in the next few days

@Bridgey8 sounds very promising 👀 I've read that OPKs can have strong lines at the end of a cycle indicating pregnancy but not sure how accurate that is - I'd get a test to be sure

I'm 13dpo but not holding out much hope. My boobs are hurting and my BBT is still up.... but other than that nada.

I don't have any test but just did an OPK and it was almost positive. How can that be?!

Jumping on board! This will be month 3 of TTC number 2 and I'm currently CD5. Trying to stay calm and not get sucked into pre-seed/acupuncture/expensive vitamins etc. like I did last time. My game plan this month is to try and speed ovulation up by nursing DS1 less as I found through tracking that I've been ovulating late.
