It seems AF is coming to get me end of this week (Fri), so instead of feeling sorry for myself I’m trying to look forward to October and getting to try again! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

@Danani I will wait until I get af or I’m late lol! I hate seeing negative tests.
I’m not feeling anything this afternoon though I feel fine.
I also on an October thread somewhere else and that one has several BFPs on it!

Regarding your situation I am sorry to dear your DH isn’t well and I understand it’s frustrating. 😞

@Cruz86 we’re attempting SMEP (Sperm Meets Egg Plan) and we’re already exhausted. It seems quite hard going!

The basics is that you DTD every other day from CD8 to a positive OPK, then you DTD for three days straight, skip a day, then DTD again!

We got excited as this is our first cycle TTC and started a little too early (CD5 😬, I blame DH!!).

We’re now on CD9 and going to take a little break until CD11. Hopefully it doesn’t mess things up but we will see.

Don't worry @Danani we've been the same, it's hard if one of you isn't in the mood isn't it! Life can very easily get in the way.

I am CD10 today and got my first smiley on clearblue today so going to BD tonight and Friday and then everyday once flashing smiley comes. Still saying low on the easy@home tests though?

Ahhh @Mummytobe93 thank you, huni! It does make me feel better, you know! 😂 Obviously, I hope you DTD and get your BFP this month, but it does feel nice knowing that I’m not the only one who completely failed to follow SMEP or any other TTC plan for that matter this cycle. 😬
Sometimes when I come on here I feel like everyone else is DTD’ing all the time, at all the right days and here I am…tumbleweeds 👀🙈

I’m sorry about your DH’s back problems @Danani 😪 If it makes it any better, we are yet to DTD in my fertile window which is definitely now as I feel all the signs of ovulation coming. OPKs still negative but definitely getting darker, probably will get the surge later today or tomorrow. I’m hoping we can do it tonight and MAYBE tomorrow but it’s was a rather pathetic attempt to follow SMEP 😬😂

We’ve got other months ladies, I’m know it’s going to happen for us 🍀xx

Morning all.
Still can’t believe all the BFPs on here lol!
So I’m 8dpo today and I don’t feel very well today, I think I caught a cold in my back or something as I have a bit of an achey back and I got some very mild tenderness going on in lower abdomen. Sometimes boobs feel a bit odd, tingly maybe? But they aren’t sore to touch or anything. I just feel grotty to be honest! I’m not looking into it as pregnancy as I genuinely think I got a chill in my back but I can’t explain the abdomen feeling, but I did have it last month as well a week before af arrived so no hopes are up. But I googled it and internet says it’s unusual to get crampy feelings a week before period so 🤷‍♀️ 😂

Day 9 atm, going to try smep or at least increase the amount of times we dtd before ovulation 🤪

@FlyOnTheWall89, I just make a note of it, and only mark it as Positive on Peak. Otherwise, it confuses it and throws off the prediction. :)

Hi all,

What do you guys put in your app (if you use one) when you get a flashing smiley on a clear blue? Do you put positive test for ovulation, or just make a note of it? I have put positive, but then it moves my ovulation and I am sure I wont ovulate until friday / saturday. EWCM only just appearing in large amounts today but had flashing smileys yesterday and the day before. Obvs will DTD every day or every other day anyway, but just curious. xx

Awww, thanks @lemons44 for trying to cheer me up! I appreciate it lovely! :) But I just tested and my OPKs say High. I'll test once more in the afternoon/evening, but I'm thinking maybe Peak will be tomorrow after all. Who knows, maybe DH would feel better by then? :D I'm having all my fingers crossed and not counting myself fully OUT just yet, but just preparing mentally it most likely won't be the one this month. And...that's ok. Sh*t happens, just have to roll with it and hopefully I have one hell of a lucky November!

@Danani if you DTD on Saturday, your peak is today and you ovulate tomorrow, by this chart on the clear blue website you still have a 10% chance this month (obviously age will affect it). It only takes one sperm 🤞🏼 so you wouldn't be out completely.

@Danani I'm sorry to hear that! I know it can be frustrating not being able to even try. I hope he gets better soon and in the meantime, if you manage to even do it once you may still be lucky! But look health always comes first, he needs to be able to heal fully and lift that baby soon lol !

@Peauela I'm sorry you feel this way lovely, but seriously, until AF shows up you're not OUT! 10 DPO is still pretty early! Don't lose hope!

How is everyone else doing this fine morning?

My Lucky October has gone completely out the window...DH has been having back issue on and off since last Friday so we've not managed to DTD at all since Sat. I'm feeling bad for him, and I'm feeling bad for this month completely wasted...I honestly had such high hopes that this will be it for us! I think my peak is today/tomorrow (haven't tested this morning yet) and it literally breaks my heart to see it come and go and for us to not even try!

Oh well... You know you'll see a new thread from me in November. LOL. Until then, I'm living vicariously through y'all's BFPs!!! I hope we get many many more in here! Genuinely such fab news and makes me smile every time I see someone share theirs!

9dpo today and got my BFP. I'm so over the moon. Still pretty faint and my period isn't due until Monday so I'm trying to keep myself from getting too excited. Hopefully it's a sticky one 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Okay I'm 10 DPO today and I caved in and tested - BFN 🥲 considering the cramping and heavy boobies for the past two days - AF is definitely coming 🥲 I hope you all get your positives this month ❤️
