4 Dpo and going mad

Anyone else in the tww ? Currently 4dpo and trying all the best to keep my head on and go about my day but I swear this is always the worst part of the month. Anyone else like that and waiting out these dreaded two weeks again?

If so can talk to me tell me about yourself. Are you planning to test ? I haven't decided if I'll test this month or wait it out but the waiting is already killing me.

Ladies I need your help. I've tested this morning at 9 DPO according to my app. Using easy@home and first response. Faint but noticeable lines have come up on both but I can't seem to take a decent picture. Could this be my BFP? It doesn't seem real I'm even to scared to show my partner at the moment.

@sunnyside257 it looks like a great line for where you're at in your cycle so try to enjoy the moment ❤️

sunnyside257 · 25/09/2021 21:12

@flossy980 - yeah I got a positive at 9dpo. Still cautious as it was so early. Just wait a few days and test again.

flossy980 · 25/09/2021 20:25

@sunnyside257 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 My last cycle was 27 days so that would be AF due Monday but I think because I ovulated a few days earlier than I usually would AF will come next Saturday/Sunday! I'm not sure when to test really, did you get your first BFP at 9dpo?

sunnyside257 · 25/09/2021 19:52

@flossy980 - baby dust for you! Sounds promising. That's the same pains I had before I got my BFP. When are you going to test? When is AF due? X

flossy980 · 25/09/2021 19:23

Congratulations @sunnyside257 🥰

I'm only 6dpo and feel like time is dragging on and on!!! Been getting a lot of left sided pelvic pain for the last day or so. Comes in short bursts and is really prominent, so just making me focus more and more on symptoms and the wait I still have to take a test!

Wishfulthinking2021 · 25/09/2021 16:09

Massive congratulations to all you ladies with BFP.

@weathervane123 I'm feeling exactly like you're self. I'm a little further behind like 8 or 9 DPO. But I'm not feeling anything an of course tested early an getting a BFN. I don't think this month is my month. But if that's the case once AF is out of the way I get to try again!

weathervane123 · 25/09/2021 16:09

@sunnyside257 congratulations and good luck! Flowers

weathervane123 · 25/09/2021 16:08

@bestwisheskindregards, If you're 35 and over, they'll usually test you if it's been six months ttc. If you're under that, they usually say to give it a year. If you've got mid-cycle bleeding or spotting, it's worth talking to your GP anyway. You can always express what you're worried about and ask them.

sunnyside257 · 25/09/2021 15:37

Well I got some first response early detection tests (it says up to 6 days before your missed period) was supposed to wait until tomorrow to test with FMU but of course I caved and just took one now - around 2pm. The line came up after about 30 seconds so I didn't even have to wait the 3mins even-though it wasn't FMU.

I can't believe it! There's no denying this one. AF due on Monday so just hoping all goes well from now. Someone pinch me!!

I've been doing a lot of research today about spotting in the luteal phase and I'm now worried I've got low progesterone. I know it's too soon to go to the GP about it but does anyone know when the GP would be willing to test progesterone levels?

weathervane123 · 25/09/2021 14:46

Hi everyone. 10dpo for me today and it's a BFN with an easy at home strip, which I think is pretty sensitive. I'm a little bit down about it but not too bad. I'm pretty sure I'm out this cycle now, but will keep testing until AF shows, just in case (still scared of ectopic!)

@Firsttimetrier FMU is advised but it's rubbish if you're a nighttime drinker or have a cuppa before bed! My results have always been stronger in the afternoon. I think some people metabolise hcg differently? So, if you've not had a drink for a good few hours, it's worth a shot. Good luck!

Selena33 · 25/09/2021 14:09

@Firsttimetrier it’s best to use fmu however the first faint I saw I used it during the afternoon but it will be less concentrated and hence leas likely to pick up the pregnancy hormone x

Firsttimetrier · 25/09/2021 13:07

Hope you are all well!

My hormones have been all over the place this week! This morning I full on cried over the smallest thing and my poor husband thought I’d lost my mind. Also been so irritable all week!

I think AF is about to start but I’m getting tempted to test but don’t want to get my hopes up.

Can I use an early detection test partway through the day? Or does it really need to be the first wee?

sarahtom23 · 25/09/2021 09:13

@bestwisheskindregards sorry for your Bfn I'm 11dpo today and another bfn for me too. 3 days off af being due this month isn't looking good for me again.

bestwisheskindregards · 25/09/2021 07:36

I couldn't resist anymore and took a test this morning at 10dpo (FR early detection) and it was a BFN. Gutted. Hoped to be one of those lucky couples where it worked first time.

Ah well - just waiting for AF now then and onto next month.

sarahtom23 · 24/09/2021 12:40

@Selena33 I know never out until ad comes but I swear every negative tests gets me down.

So happy for you ladies I know it will happen for us eventually

Selena33 · 24/09/2021 12:40

@bestwisheskindregards I see, let us know how it goes

jessharra · 24/09/2021 12:39

Thanks ladies I'm really hopeful 🥰 I've got fingers crossed for all you too

bestwisheskindregards · 24/09/2021 12:37

@sunnyside257 @jessharra I can see lines on both. Looks very promising! Definitely test again tomorrow. Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

@Selena33 It's possible that it could be implantation bleeding but I don't want to get my hopes up as it doesn't sound super common. And because spotting straight before my period isn't abnormal for me so it could still be that. Still keeping my fingers crossed. I haven't tested yet - I'm trying to hold out until at least Sunday (11dpo).

Selena33 · 24/09/2021 12:34

@sarahtom23 you are not out until af comes but yes it’s so disheartening. Don’t lose the hope it will happen x

Selena33 · 24/09/2021 12:31

@bestwisheskindregards could that be implantation bleeding? Have you tested?

@sunnyside257 and @jessharra yay that looks very promising, can see lines on both

@weathervane123 I totally get you after having had 2 mc this year (1 mmc and 1 mc).
I did test again this morning with cb and there is a line so I’m taking it as a positive! I really hope this one sticks though!

sunnyside257 · 24/09/2021 12:18

@jessharra - I see faint lines!!

jessharra · 24/09/2021 12:14

So I tested today with a fr and cb what do you ladies think ? I'm not sure if I should get excited or not just yet? Will test again tomorrow to see if darker but do you see the lines ?
