Cheers sweetie! Trying to be brave and hold out...damned body confusing me! So sorry to hear AF arrived

Clearblue Monitor sounds just the ticket though and relexology is just lovely . I used to have it for headaches and it worked a treat

07mumstheword · 14/01/2008 09:34

Hatty CD24 is a real head messing time. I know I can never wait and I tested on CD24 last wk. Fingers crossed for you.

07mumstheword · 14/01/2008 09:31

Morning all. Just dropping in quickly to let you know she got me back to CD1. I'm ok though as I knew she was coming.

I took my temp this morning and will keep doing that, I'm collecting the Clearblue Fertility Monitor from my friend today, I have Reflexology on Thurs along with an appt at the doctors for a chat. So I am not defeated yet!

hattyyellow · 14/01/2008 09:21

Am at the stage of not wanting to test (even though as on day 26 I technically could with an early test) because I don't want to see a BFN...would rather drift along in la-la land not knowing and hoping...does that make any sense?

Have a number of things that could be construed as symptoms of pg or impending AF...

Driving myself mad with the waiting

DG how you feeling today ? Has it all sunk in yet?

ClairePO · 13/01/2008 23:18

Hello everyone [waves] congrats again to the BFP's.

Bucky I'm hunting you down, how long are your cycles normally? CD27 for you I have my fingers crossed.

MrsEi if I beg will you have dreams about me and a BFP? Pretty please LOL.

MsSparkle · 13/01/2008 21:07

Well now it's all happening i am hoping for a BFP but well see...

mibbes · 13/01/2008 21:07

actually just read that you don't really want BFP this month - hope you are happy whatever result you get.

mibbes · 13/01/2008 21:05

ooh very exciting - look forward to hearing the result in the next few days then, fingers crossed for you

MsSparkle · 13/01/2008 21:05

I had just accepted the fact we trying until May then this happens and i get all obsessive again and looking for signs that are all in my head really!

MsSparkle · 13/01/2008 21:01

I have had cramps for 2 weeks hence i thought the cramps with the ulcers ment AF was coming. I tested last Thursday and BFN but according to an online ov test i did based on a 39 day cycle i was ov the week dp and i had unpretected sex and the 14 Jan is the day i can expect AF or a BFP!

mibbes · 13/01/2008 20:57

MsSparkle you must be nearly CD40 then - I'd definitely be testing if I were you ... especially with cramps and no AF... how many days have you had cramnps ?

MsSparkle · 13/01/2008 20:45

"Dp and i started trying in Oct after i finished the pill. After a long wait and many BFN later i got AF on CD 39 (6th Dec.) Dp and i decided to hold off until May to try again for lots of reasons so used condoms apart from once which was between Christmas and New year making that 3 weeks after my last AF and 1 week before i thought i was going to get the next AF."

"At the time of the unpretected sex i was getting mouth ulsers which is a big AF symptom for me so i though AF was coming and it was ok to not use a condom. Since then i have had slight cramps and the feeling like i am going to come on but still no bleeding! I want AF to come just so know where i stand!"

MsSparkle · 13/01/2008 20:43

I will copy and paste my explanation from the other thread...

mibbes · 13/01/2008 20:42

Evening MsSparkle, welcome to the symtpom spotting thread - what CD are you on ? Could be promising as lots of CM can be a good sign...

MsSparkle · 13/01/2008 20:13

Where is everyone tonight? In bed making babies no doubt!

MsSparkle · 13/01/2008 19:55

Hello everyone, can i join your thread?

I was just saying on the other thread how i feel different today, i have butterflies in my stomach and i have mild abdominal cramps. Plus i had a slight CM today which was thick and very white. I hate not knowing whats going on!

See, it has been that long that my name is still festive

abbyscoffedallthemincepiesmeg · 13/01/2008 19:29

Have been floating about the thread in a secretive manner, hoping that maybe if I don't obsess as much that I may actually get BFP...

Until...

DG What absolutely fantastic news!!! I am so happy for you. . Many, many congratulations XXXX

So in a week, I'll either be back properly, pg or not. We shall see...

Babydust and hugs to everyone .

ScaryHairy · 13/01/2008 19:09

DG we were living in Fulham then so I went to Queen Charlotte's.

A friend had her son at the Whittington in 2007. He was born a little after midnight and the hospital were all set to send her home the same day until she pointed out that she hadn't get got the hang of breastfeeding so she stayed in another night. She didn't have the easiest pregnancy and they did take good care of her medical needs.

From what I've heard, post-natal care seems to be the "poor cousin" of obstetrics across London. Even at QC they were underresourced and there was one midwife in particular on the post-natal wards who was a total nightmare (and a bitch to boot). I was in for nearly a week and was ready to throttle her by the time I left!

Anyway, you've got heaps of time to prepare and to figure out what sort of birth you want, so don't stress about it. You will be fine wherever you go.

Hey - if I get my BFP we can go for ante-natal classes together!

mibbes · 13/01/2008 18:19

Bucky sorry you got BFN but hopefully yu were just impatient and tested too early - fingers crossed .
It is great to see that DG's BFP has lifted the mood and we are all feeling positive again . Let's hope the coning week brings a few more.
Twinkling hope tomorrow goes as well as possible and that it takes your mind off testing. Will be thinking of you.

DigitalGirl

Just wanted to say a MASSIVE Congratulations and good luck xxxxxxxxx

(I was on the TTC SEP thread) xxxxx

digitalgirl · 13/01/2008 18:02

bucky I still have my fingers firmly crossed for you, you have still got a good chance. and as you pointed out earlier, yes there's a typo in my BFP announcement, I'm 10dpo not CD10, I'm actually CD33 today...after scaling the dizzy heights of CD50 I'm surprised to know anything this early on in my cycle.

SH I had the SAME thing with FF, pushed me back a couple of days saying I'd ov'ed two days later than originally thought. Coupled with your glaring symptoms, perhaps it's a sign! Keep an eye on those temps.
Now SH, as a fellow N Londoner did you have DD at Whittington or somewhere else? I've heard awful things about Whittington's post-natal care, unless you have a dramatic labour in which case they're brilliant.

Sorry about BFN Bucky.
Do you think you might have tested a bit too soon?
