Hi EI Well, we'll all have to keep each other company until the bitter end!!!! (or, alternatively, you can go and have a dream where we ALL graduate! (Am now secretly v excited for mibbes after your last one...

MrsEi25 · 15/01/2008 15:17

Good afternoon everyone

Bucky Hope you are feeling a bit better today. What you said yesterday rang a lot of bells with me. CD1 is absolutely horrible. This last time i was in a foul mood all day and in floods of tears by the evening. I too have been worried that everyone else will graduate and i'll be the only one left behind!! If only we could all magically get our BFP's together. I think the thought of another month of BDing does become unappealing. I'm sure the men feel it as well, however much they want a baby too. I have thought about "not trying" for a month or two, but DH was horrified at the thought, and i also felt that i would find it impossible "not" to try, i.e. i'd know when i was ovulating anyway, would end up BDing, and still obssess for 2 weeks... or i'd know that we'd NOT BDed at the right time, and be cross at a missed opportunity. TTC feels like a train journey that it's impossible to get off of, sometimes.
Anyway, i hope you are feeling brighter today, and that you had a jolly good drink last night!!

loubers and prePG welcome to you both.

scaryhairy I have got everything crossed for you (although i may need to uncross my legs briefly in a day or so to do the necessary )

coolkat hello, i hope you are ok and that the doctors appt goes ok later this week.

pistachio go for the extra BDing just in case!

picknmix does sound promising for you. Everything crossed for you as well!

sarahn nice to see you! Glad everything is going well.

DG How are you doing today? How is the tiny digibean?!

Hello to MrsEI hattyyellow shreksmissus MTW fruitloop jollybear (what's in your parcel then?) mibbes twinklingfairy and anyone else i have inadvertently missed.

Well yesterday i had the first lot of EWCM, and had some more today. My cervix is also AWOL, and although i have just done a OPK test and no smiley face, it can't be far away. I feel this time i'm almost afraid of doing some well timed BDing - as i know that i'll get all hopeful only to end up with a BFN again. However, DH likes to know when the smiley faces appear, and he'd be devastated if i don't tell him and we don't go for it. Just been to a long meeting at work, talking about things due to be happening over the next few months. All i could think was "I thought i'd be on maternity leave by then..." Oh well, hopefully we'll get there in the end!!

JollyBear · 15/01/2008 14:59

Good thinking MTW I should get into the routine of doing it. Best of luck to you for your next cycle, you've certainly got lots of TTC goodies! We'll try our best to keep you level headed!!

I'm oddly looking forward to using the OPKs and temping in a geeky science experiment sort of way, ooops... I've just outed myself as a nerd

MrsEi25 · 15/01/2008 14:53

hi girls
hope everyone is doin ok
AF still hasnt started back properly had a little bit of spotting this morning but nothin since the silly witch cant make her mind up
twinkling how did the funeral go?? hope you are ok and it wasnt too hard a day for you and your family {{{{{hugs}}}}}
ok i think its official i spend too much time on MN!!
its another (rather weird) installment in the mrsei dream saga!!... i was in a restaraunt and sat with a girl i went to school with she was about 8 months preg and i kept callin her 'mibbsey' she was blonde haired in school (and now i think) but we were talkin about MN and babies etc (i wasnt pg BTW so maybe i have got a wait on my hands...) but weird eh!!
lets hope i am psychic then cos i really could do with a career change!! either that or a new hobby

07mumstheword · 15/01/2008 13:36

Sorry JB but you can have fun with your TTC pack now . I've no idea when its best to start temping but I did it CD30 which turned out to be CD1. If you start now at least you will catch your CD1 and be in the routine already.

I've been getting to grips with the Persona Monitor this morning but looks like I'll have to "set" it to a more convenient time tomorrow morning, then come day 6 I can start peeing on sticks.

So this month I am all set for temping, using monitor, OPK's and reflexology. You can imagine how gutted I'll be if I get a BFN can't you? I'm reminding myself it may take a couple of months of using all this stuff before it works so when I'm getting all crazy by in 2ww it is up to you all to remind me and keep me sane!

JollyBear · 15/01/2008 13:21

Thanks MTW I was just clutching at straws

My TTC parcel has arrived already!! I only ordered yesterday. Is it worth starting to temp tomorrow or do I need to be at the beginning of a cycle? I've never been desperate for AF to turn up before!!

Good luck testing mibbes

07mumstheword · 15/01/2008 11:24

Good luck with the testing on Fri Mibbes I was trying to keep Bucky's spirits up but didn't want to cross the line of bullying her into being my cycle buddy

Bucky How are you feeling today? Will you join me back on the list? I'll creep in and do it for you if you like Hope you are doing ok.

TF How did it go yesterday? And how are you?

mibbes · 15/01/2008 10:37

Bucky so sorry TEW got you and that you are having a wee wobbly moment . I can't pretend to understand as relatively new to this but can cross my fingers for a BFP soon.
MTW sorry she got you too (or did she...?) - your job is to keep Bucky's chin up as you seem quite upbeat today - You have both landed lucky having each other as cycle buddies this month, I'm sure you'll give each other loads of support
Welcome PrePG - this is a lovely suppotive thread - good luck !
saranh good to hear all is going well . You left the thread not long after I joined.
PicknMix hope the constipation is going well... what a strange thing to say but you know what I mean after DG's pre-BFP blockage
Any sign of twinkling - how was the funeral ? hope you are ok.
Am going to test on Fri as I think I need a weekend to sort my head out either way - my hopes are way up so it BFN will be gutted but if BFP will be terrified...

07mumstheword · 15/01/2008 10:19

JB I think at 15 dpo a PG should work so lets just hope AF shows her ugly face and you can get on again. (still secretly hope I'm wrong though)

Sarah I checked your ante-natal thread and saw you hadn't posted for a while because you were feeling sick, I was so pleased that things are going well not that you're so sick. I've got reflexology booked for Thurs so I hope it works for me too.

sarahnh · 15/01/2008 10:01

hello everyone,

Just popping on to say a massive congrats to Ditigal Girl!!! So Chuffed!!

Hope everyone else is doing well, i am so sorry that that TEW got mtw and Bucky... fingers crossed for both of you this month... it took me 11 cycles and i was all for giving up if you remember... try reflexology, it was my saving grace!!!

I am doing ok though no exact due date yet, getting fat already complaining tho i know i shouldn't be!!!

Baby dust to all ***

JollyBear · 15/01/2008 09:40

Morning all,

Bucky I hope you feel a bit brighter today.

Looking good picknmix! Fingers crossed for you.

Hattyyellow Have you managed to hold out from testing? Fingers crossed for you too.

MTW you hit the nail on the head, I do just want AF to turn up and then I know where I am. I've been working it out and even if I hypothetically ovulated late CD19 or 20, a positive would have shown up yesterday wouldn't it? 15DPO?!!!

Any luck finding your AF MrsEi25? Fruitloop and DG and all those with long cycles, I take my hat off to you! It is sooo frustrating!!!!!

ClairePO · 15/01/2008 08:51

Bucky I'm so sorry you had such a crap day. I completely agree with ScaryHairy it is so difficult to stop when you have started, those people thatsay they're going to take a break and relax this month amaze me becuase I wouldn't be able to switch off like that. I think the idea of booking a break sounds like a good one.

picknmix the constipation thing does sound good. If constipation can ever be good I have everything crossed for you.

coolkat · 15/01/2008 08:12

Picknmix. . . .Constipation seems to be a regular sign? Fingers crossed. X

digitalgirl · 14/01/2008 23:08

oh bucky did all that unlucky stuff really happen? I hope you're getting really pissed right now, you bloody deserve a glass of wine.

07mumstheword · 14/01/2008 22:32

Thank you picknmix Constipation is one of DG's symptoms!! I'm really hoping for TEW to leave you alone and a BFP for the weekend.

My cycle buddy Bucky - I'm soooo sorry to hear about af arriving. SUCH a witch and perfectly understandable that you are feeling stroppy and hormonal. I'm still waiting at the mo - think my af is due on Sat (at a rough guess, its always a bit haphazard in Picknmix land) and I have practically nothing going on to indicate I might be pregnant. I have slightly sore boobs (nothing unusual there), a wierd sour taste in my mouth (could be due to spicy pasta I ate a few days ago) and constipation!!!! DH is all excited but I, although originally feeling positive, am now feeling down and resigned to af rearing her ugly ugly head.

Sorry, me me me......

MTW also very sad to hear about af arrival for you too. I'm only on month 6 and that feels long enough. You're right, temping is a 'hindsight' type of thing, gets you to see a pattern in your cycle rather than predicting ov. But combined with your fertility monitor I think you're well and truely armed for bding battle, so to speak! Its nice to hear an update on all the old symptom spotters though, glad to hear they're all doing well, thank you.

Hi to newbies PrePG and Eleved. Eleved I've heard evening primrose oil can help 'dryness' (but have read conflicting advice on taking it so I only take it in 1st part of cycle) and so can drinking lots of water. Altho, hats off to MTW for passing on the DG baton of knowledge - she is quite right, cm can 'hide' and cervical persuits can reveal all sorts!!!!

ScaryHairy · 14/01/2008 21:51

Sorry that AF showed up Bucky. I can quite understand you wanting to stop planning for a bit. It can put such a strain on things. The problem is that once you start "trying" it's hard to stop.
Still maybe book yourself a nice posh holiday, bin the OPKs and try to relax for a cycle? Go easy on yourself; it will come good in the end I'm sure.

07mumstheword · 14/01/2008 21:46

Bucky I know exactly what you mean about yet another cycle of military precision BD'ing. It's having a bad effect on our sex life as I peak up to and including a couple of days after OV then I'm not bothered and DH feels used.

You must you must add yourself back on, just sneak in in the morning to update or tell them the truth they'll understand a hormonal strop!

I keep thinking everyones going to leave me too. I've been looking at some old friends on the antenatal threads, Sweetkitty, Shazza, Pigley, Sarahnh to name but a few and it made me think bloody hell will I ever get there. We will
They are all doing fine by the way, SK and Pigley had their scans, Sarah's feeling sick and Shazza is fine! We'll get there I can't wait to feel sick and vow not to moan

coolkat · 14/01/2008 21:27

Oh Bucky, sounds like you had shitty day. I had one of those yesterday, pranged DH car, would not have minded if it was mine but his pride and joy, bastard concrete post! Then DD bit through lip in horse riding lesson when horse tripped.

Heres to next month when hopefully I will be back symptom spotting to.... going docs friday as things don't feel 'right'

Hope your all holding up. Loads of BD?!!!!

Bucky2008 · 14/01/2008 21:25

...I had a strop and took myself off...didn't want to think about ANOTHER cycle . I haven't got my thermometer yet, MTW...although I am glad I have a new cycle buddy .

Feel a bit dumb now though and its a bit embarrassing to add myself back on, unless I pretend it was a mistake.... I thought nobody would notice if I sneaked off. I didn't want to say I was going in case I changed my mind, but the idea of ANOTHER month of the egg checking and BDing with military precision is frankly quite unappealing.

I think I am going to be here forever and you are all going to graduate and leave me behind . Oh geez, I'm depressing myself let alone anyone else....sorry!

MrsEi25 · 14/01/2008 20:54

sorry bucky that AF got to you hun xx i got my long awaited BFP on my cycle 9/10 so you never know it might be a lucky one for you too {{{{{hugs}}}}}
xx ei xx

07mumstheword · 14/01/2008 20:51

Bucky I just popped over the to waiting room and you've updated the list but you're not there with me cycle buddy Are you ok? Don't leave me now.....but I understand if you feel you have to.

07mumstheword · 14/01/2008 20:47

Oh Bucky I'm so so sorry . But if it is any consolation we are cycle buddies I'm CD1 today too. We are close in cycles too I'm heading into cycle 10. Have you bought a thermometer yet?
