DG please don't be too sad. We'll cheer you up tomorrow and I know how hard it can be. I had a meltdown at the beginning of the week, but feel much better now, so the overwhelming feelings will pass. It is good to have a cry, but please stay positive. Thinking of you

Congratulations twighlightsurfer! Forgot to say before!

digitalgirl · 07/12/2007 12:58

Afternoon everyone

GG at your DH. Mine is also petrified of rodents and our mogs seem to delight in bringing them in alive and dropping them at his feet . Muggins here has to catch them which I really don't mind. The best moment was when I came home to find out our eldest mog had caught a baby rabbit and DH had managed to trap it in box but was too freaked out to rescue it. It was so adorable as i cuddled it when taking it back out to the field behind our house.

Poppysocks CONGRATULATIONS !!!

Well, my AF is on it's way. Spotting yesterday and today, but not enough for a liner or tampon (sorry, tmi .

Just found out my employer is putting a well being room in the building. Might have to look into that to see if they do any nice relaxing reflexology .

Waves to everyone!

BuckytheRedNosedReindeer · 07/12/2007 12:28

DG In the meantime I am sending and a present

BuckytheRedNosedReindeer · 07/12/2007 12:25

DG please don't be . You don't know for sure there was no egg. I'm guessing I am hatching eggs and I haven't had a BFP yet. Maybe it just hasn't happened for you yet? Your results will help, but please don't feel too down until you have hard facts. In the meantime, I will make it my duty to cheer you up tomorrow .

abbyscoffedallthemincepiesmeg · 07/12/2007 12:16

DG - sorry to hear you're having a dificult time .

I'm still in pain. Rang NHS direct - paracetamol and rest, with no suggestions of what it could be. I think it's a bit hard for them to diagnose over the phone. They said if it doesn't improve to the dr with me. DH said I've been doing paracetamol and rest since yesterday afternoon, so I've now booked in to the dr at 4.10 this afternoon. I feel like I'm wasting people's time! It hurts, and I couldn't stand up last night, but its manageable. It's just at a bizarre time. Would ov pain last for an entire day or more? It's stabbing in the front and aching in the back. I bet it's my brain playing hideous tricks on me.

digitalgirl · 07/12/2007 12:08

there's no point in testing...

Atilla is much wiser than me when it comes to irregular/long cycles and she's just told me that you can get 18 days plus of high temperatures even without ovulating.

I feel sick at the thought of how hopeful I've been this cycle, deluding myself with symptoms and temperatures and smiley opks. When all along I've not even had the one thing you need to get pregnant.

This gynae appointment cannot come soon enough.

dg, 18 dats of high temps, don't lie honey, i think that you should take another test??? Maybe after you get your bloods back??? will they give any indication??xxx

Ps morning everyone else xxxx

poppysocks · 07/12/2007 11:45

Congratulations Twilightsurfer!

A line is a line as you all keeping saying and my faint line yesterday was still there today so I'm taking it that I am pg. .

Hope all goes well this afternoon with the GP GG.

Sorry to hear TEW got you Santasmissus.

Think you should do another test DG....

I'm off this afternoon for nearly a week with little/no PC access, but will pop in you when I can and hope to see some more BFPs. Fingers crossed for you all!

digitalgirl · 07/12/2007 10:27

santasmissus so so sorry AF got you. But hopefully you can put it behind you all in a few days time and look forward to the next cycle.

Hi All - congrats to poppysocks what a fab Christmas pressie!!

Sorry to those captured by TEW

Well I am on cd22 here and have zero symptoms My cycles vary between 28 & 32 days so there is still time..

Am off to my works party tomorrow night at a swanky hotel . That will help speed up the 2ww, what with drinking and making merry followed by the inevitable hangover (although I can't be too ill on Sunday as dd is going to a dance party in the afternoon and can you imagine how bad that would be???)

digitalgirl · 07/12/2007 10:24

morning all,
I didn't go out on the lash last night as was still very depressed. so DH took me to see Golden Compass, which was nice and distracting. nearly fell apart blubbing at the mastercard ad, the one where families meet at the airport

abby how are your pains?
I got woken up early this morning with the most awful backpain on my left side, I thought my kidney was about to explode! had to crawl to the bathroom to get some water. wondered if this was a new type of AF cramp. managed to soothe it and fall asleep again.

but still, no AF. I got it wrong and FF is asking me to 'please take a test' today as I have had 18 days of high temps. but I'm sure BFNs don't turn into BFPs overnight. specially this late in the game.

Glad to hear ladies are getting strong ov signs. You're all getting in tune with your bodies, girls. Get thee to a bedroom and get bd'ing!

bucky Well if it isn't Maid Marian it's Alice in Wonderland. And what's wrong with looking like Alice at xmas time? I'm sure you look great, keep the dress and buy some lovely accessories to go with it! Maybe not an Alice band tho!

morning everyone!

CONGRATULATIONS poppysocks
and have i missed something? i thought i'd read that twilight got a faint bfp too, is that right twilight or ahve i picked up the wrong end of the stick from your post from last night??? i am very tired following my nightshift again but not back tonight - woohooo

abbey ov pain is more commonly felt on the right than the left and can be quite bad, but you do right to get it checked if it's longlasting and horrendous.

sorry for your bfn digital

morning mot and gg - well i'm out for this month, af showed up yestersay as thought so no surprise there cracking onto cycle 13. can't really be bothered to think about it, really brassed off, but think that it may also be af talking, very weepy about lot's of things not just af. hormones all over the place. definitely up for a hormonectomy excitable don't think they do those on the nhs (obviously they would need to leave some hormones to make pgcy possible. haven't decided whether i'm going to have a ttc break or not. it's easy to say that on vd2 but come ov time then 2ww i can't help thinking about it, think i am going to cart myself off to the caravan, sack it, i'm going straight to the hut[sad snivel snivel

sorry for the me me me rant, perhaps i'll feel better after a sleep.

twinklingfairy · 07/12/2007 09:51

Oh, I am getting the same cbcb, but I have been getting this stuff since CD9 and I don't know what to think.
I ov'd (test said) at CD 17 last month so I did not start testing until CD 12 this month.
Still no positives, but still this CM?
Now my (.)(.) hurt this morn (like the milk was coming in) But I can't be pregnant cos my temps are all still relatively low?
Why all the goop then?
Confused and

Sorry to hijack, but I think yours does sound like it could be time to start BDing, just in case.
Good luck and have fun

abbey - I'd agree with 07MTW that you could be ovulating early. I have been getting EWCM from around CD10/11 and the OPK's I've used are predicting OV about day 12, so it may be earlier than you think. I have decided to do OPK's from CD7 this month so I can build up a pattern of lines and recognise my cycle patterns.

Bucky I will have to think of a festive name too Sorry that the dress isn't right

Well ladies, clearly nothing to report here in the way of symptoms, but I have my doctor's appointment this afternoon [scared emoticon] at 3pm for the kick off TTC investigations. I'll try and get on the computer tonight to let you know how it goes. I am hoping that Shazza is right and that all I need to fall PG is to go and waste a GP's time for half and hour and, hey presto, the next month I tumble . I am CD3 today (by sheer lucky co-incidence) so I shall pressurise him into taking some of my precious A Neg for testing while the time is right. Otherwise my next CD3 will be in January when I am on holiday, so it would be Feb before the day comes round again.

hello to everyone else

abbyscoffedallthemincepiesmeg · 07/12/2007 09:16

Twilight I like that - remodeling!

TwilightSurfer · 07/12/2007 09:12

Abby belly pain here too. Could just be remodeling to make room for baby and not AF. I've had it with every pregnancy.

abbyscoffedallthemincepiesmeg · 07/12/2007 09:12

Mums - I thought it was a possibility, but didn't know whether this would make my overall cycle much shorter. One things certain - that if I am ovulating much earlier it would explain why I haven't caught before, as I've always worked on day 14. Fingers crossed it's implantation - though dh asked what it's implanting with, a drill?!!!

If it's not, then back to doctors for me .

07mumstheword · 07/12/2007 08:46

Abby Poor you with nasty pains. My cycles have been 26-28 days over the last couple of months (have been 26-32 days over the last 8 months)and I've used OPK's this cycle and the last which has given me CD10 last month and CD9 this month. I have been at how early I've OV'd. Perhaps you have already OV'd and implantation is taking place now. Please try not to worry IF you get a BFN this month you could try using an OPK next month but start using from about CD9 just in case you are OV early.

abbyscoffedallthemincepiesmeg · 07/12/2007 08:39

Morning all! Am back to moan...

Owwwww!!!! Still have cramps. They went on all night - really painful. Paracetamol didn't touch them. They're like bad AF pain.

I would love to think that it's implantation, but I have a 28 day cycle that is regular; surely I'd have only just ovulated? Mums - you ovulate early - how long is your cycle normally?

It's worrying because if it's not implantation, then it's severe ovulation pain which isn't right. This then sets me off thinking that it could be some horrible complication.

Sorry for me me me.

Bucky - I had high hopes for your dress! Am very disappointed! I still think you should have your photo taken, Helena-style, and put it on your profile before you take it back .

TwilightSurfer · 06/12/2007 22:17

Hey is DG around? I wanted to check on her symptoms as they were the same as mine. It was all her talk about temping that started me doing that each morning, even though I wasn't officially on a normal cycle. If I hadn't had the temps I'd never convinced myself to test this morning and get a faint BFP.
