Well I'm 7/8 DPO. I know I'm not ttc anymore but I still notice when I ovulate. Whilst we haven't been trying we haven't been not trying IYSWIM... I've got no symptoms and its highly unlikley but knowing how many DPO I was reminded me of you guys so I thought I'd pop on and say Hi!

My operation is sheduled for 15th January, there removing some endo scaring, deposits ect and I'm also getting a dye test at the same time, lucky me apparently if your ttc they can work wonders, I've heard lots of ladies concieving after having the dye test as it clears out your tubes. Guess we'll have to wait and see afterward hey.

DP's taking me out to dinner this weekend to "talk" about us and what's happening , where we are going ect... hmmmmmmm

I really miss this thread you guys its not fair I have to lay off ttc till after my op.

Hope you're all wellx Excellent Abby, another teacher. I trained to teach History origionally but took on English so I could teach at the school I'm at now - I loved the staff and the feel of the place.
DG and GG - I think losing perspective is part of all this. A friend at work is due 2 days before I was due (before the MC)I want to thump the crap out of her as she whitters on( and on and on...) Now I have totally lost perspective there as I do like the woman.
I have poked and prodded my boobs so much today I think I have caused them to be sore. Not feeling pg at all

Hello all! Bless you for your concern at my kitchen crisis .

got home at 1.30 and proceeded to move kitties (photos on profile, jolly and glasto - fellow feline lovers ) to DD's room so they do not make a break for freedom, empty all of the kitchen cupboards, wash up, two loads of washing and drying and clean the bathroom in two hours before the electrician arrived. As I am typing, the plumbers are in. The fitters are due at any time.

They are reconnecting me next Friday under the assumption that it will all be finished by Thursday night - it's a small to medium kitchen.

So, it will be new, shiny and beautiful... and I'm going to my mum's straight after it's done for a week and a bit over Christmas.

The only thing that's a bit concerning is I - in my unpg-feeling state - lugged a heavy box of kitchen stuff into the hall, and have been getting AF cramps since. . So maybe there is a baby in there after all. Though whether or not it's staying now...

This is a great new thread.. I have been keeping up with all your posts!!! I am still in limbo as i don't know how far i am gone, going to see midwife next tuesday!!!

There are lots of fantastic symptoms flying around and i am definitely going to log on sunday as some of you seem to be testing on that day.

I hope you can join me and shazza on the august thread, lots of lovely people on there but wants some more friends to come and play!!!

Kitchen nightmare indeed!!! . Abbey I do hope they are finished, or are you having Christmas dinner at someone elses house?

Sorry you are all being worked so hard. The days of slowing down for Christmas are long gone, even in camp bucky its all mental.

I'm not sure about my 'symptoms'now. I had really bad cramps again this morning and was SURE that AF was on her way. Am still not convinced she is not, but she is a no show so far. Back on knicker watch.

GG and I went to a breakfast talk thing this morning. It was OK but super early , as a consequence I have been pretty bad with the quantities of coffee. It was either that or matchsticks and I thought the speaker might think that a bit rude!

Jolly, I've got 5 cats . Lots of people seem surprised, but to me it's perfectly normal. 4 rescued mogs and one Maine Coon. I started out with 2, one went missing, while looking for him I found 2 (homed one of those with my friend and kept one), then came across one that had been dumped in a canal with his brothers and couldn't help but fall in love with him. So, that left me with my original one who was 2 years old at the time and two kittens. I still missed the one who was missing though. Missed him terribly. Discovered the Maine Coon breed and when I could afford one I got one (particularly because their looks and personalities are very similar to the look and personality of the one that went missing). In Feb 2004 I brought my Maine Coon home, then at the end of May in 2004 I got a phone call to say my missing cat had been handed in to a local vet and would I like him back?!?!? Of course I said yes!!! He'd been missing since the beginning of June 2001!!!!! He and his sister are now 8 years old, and he can be a bit jealous of the others sometimes but they all get along really well considering.

I get mine Sheba for xmas dinner too . They also get presents and this year they're getting a flying chicken from here

I know, I know, spoilt

Glasto I get a lump in my throat during those ads too. Do you have cats?! I was choosing christmas tea for mine in the supermarket yesterday. They always get a fancy tin of sheba at Christmas! It's duck and goose this year

abbey at weeping at Fred Claus. You're not the only one; I wept watching the Cats Protection advert the other night! I can't even claim I'm possibly pg as I'm only on CD8 and we haven't started BD'ing yet this month.

abby oh dear, you'll have to make some snap decisions...do you throw out the tinned lobster bisque soup that's good till Apr 2008 but you've had it 12 years and you know you'll never eat it
Am impressed that you're putting a new kitchen in so close to xmas, are you spending it at home or away?

I have cramps today, quite unusual for CD3, so I'm taking it easy. DH and his business partner are taking me and BP's DP out for the company xmas dinner tonight. Really looking forward to it

Abby at kitchen fitters, now you have to do what you would have done over a long leisurely weekend in a few hours. Does that mean you'll be without cooker etc all weekend? Oh well if you are you'll just have to eat out.

I don't feel PG today either. It's not over yet so still clutching at straws but I think I will be heading into cycle 9 for another attempt.

Sandies - snap! English too. Please don't judge me by my spelling ! Except mine's a really high achieving state school. It's tough in terms of work load and very high expectations. Behaviour tends to be very good because the school's so keen.

Now I don't think I am pg today. 2WW = torture. At least there's Christmas presents at the end of this one!

I went out to see Fred Claus last night and found myself weeping at really inappropriate bits. I hope I am pg, otherwise I've become very soft in my old(er) age.

When I got back, I found out my kitchen fitters - who are due to start monday - want to come in today to rip it all out, cap the gas, electric and water. I am now in a right panic! Have done no washing and haven't emptied the cupboards, thinking I had the weekend to get organised. ARGH!!!!

Anyway, it's all mememememe again. Sorry.

GG but [weary familiar smile] that you're still at work. MN has both provided light relief and wasted hours of my day today.

sandies have been ttc since August, but having long cycles have only just started cycle4. am always really chilled at the beginning of the cycle...don't know why I always descend into blubbing, boob-prodding, teeth-gnashing psycho in the last two weeks.

I am now going to call it a day, have been staring at this screen for well over 12 hours (not including when I changed into day clothes or decided to make a batch of oat cookies). Will get up extra early to put the finishing touches to my document.

sandies - same as DG. I don't even know if i am fertile

sorry, no gross symptoms to share, only CD9 or so, but my turn will come soon enough

I have had the black curse...see, you at least have a normal (if gross) symptom!!! Well done for leaving the dressing gown comfort zone. I have to dress 'professionally' myself - although attitude is optional...

that'll be all that pelvic floor movement sandies - that has to be one of the strangest symptoms ever.

seeing as we're sharing, I'm definitely on CD2 (as opposed to CD47) as AF is now 'medium flow' and (tmi) black. gross huh?

you may all be glad to know that I managed to change out of my dressing gown about 2pm today, but due to my addiction to MN 'active convos' I still haven't finished work and it is gone 10PM. dammit.

ok.....when i had a bowel movement i began spotting - af not due for a week. Now am terrified to go to the loo.No pain, this has happened before, in September when I found out I was pregnant - went on to miscarry though...

Hi everyone

Thanks for the sympathy. I'm not too fussed about the car (it's only a bit of metal) but I did feel quite vulnerable (DH is away from home a lot) and that will take some time to forget. And I have good insurance, so that's a blessing. Also as it is my first car I did not have any no claims bonus to lose!! The police have not been great and I doubt they will find these fellows unless they catch them in the act.

9dpo here and I foolishly did a test (BFN, naturally). Temps are still up and I have been feeling sick and crampy, but with all of the hassle I have had lately that is no surprise. Roll on Christmas, and 2 weeks off work!
